Stopped by one a Sunday 20 min before they closed at 4 pm. The young lady made the patrons very aware they had to go because she “had to close”. I got the lemon bar, which was very good and was undecided between two specials on the outside board the pumpkin chai latte with caramel or the cinnamon lavender latte. The young lady, taking my order, suggested the pumpkin because it was seasonal whereas the cinnamon lavender they have all year. So I went with that.

Google
This spot is a gem. Fantastic Coffee, Matcha Latte and food is seriously underrated. The bowls and sandwiches are all really tasty and nutritious also. Today’s specials included a warm edamame and quinoa bowl with kimchi, shredded carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes and avocado. Service is exceptional - John Ivan and Chantelle were all amazing 11+ out of 10

Google
Wonderful place. All of the staff is great. Food is great. Jon always makes the best coffee. Lesley is great with food. The staff is truly amazing accommodating with the service. A great place to get a great meal and relax.

Google
Delicious and healthy food. We really enjoyed our bowls with grilled chicken. Highly recommend. Reasonably priced

Ruby Elliott

Google
They always have good drinks, the only complaint I have is that non dairy milk has an up charge. The vegan banana bread was good

Google
Great coffee made by Lesly, made my day. I tried one of the special on the board. The food was great, amazing service, lots of friendly people working here. A great crew to start your day with. Jon is amazing and was here for Veterans Day during the rush. Really fast and friendly service beautiful atmosphere

Google
Great sandwich menu and wonderful outdoor table garden. Terrific for lunch.

Google
One of the best coffees (the best?) we found on the vineyard. Cortado was quality, Viennese later delic! Lots of yummy baked good including a nice selection of vegan treats. And the savory selections are also great! We’ll be back

Yelp
This is a spot that has the best vegetarian options I've seen in Edgartown. Anything from vegan breakfast to sandwiches and wraps. They offer add on and substitutions for an up charge. The servers move fast to get the drinks made and food out quickly. It's a small establishment, so the line could easily stretch out the door. The prices are a little high, but not outrageous for island dining. There is mainly outdoor seating with a few tables inside. However, it's great to sit outside and listen to the surrounding noises of people and birds. If it is more than one person, I recommend having them find a table while someone else orders. Tables fill up quickly. They have a bathroom inside, but more public restrooms are available around the corner at the bus depot. Also, parking is in the back but would advise finding a spot where you can in the area and walking over.

Yelp
**EAT HERE** Stopped in here for a quick lunch bite. Adorable coffee shop that has yummy food and coffee. We got the Butternut Squash Soup that came with a parmesan scone. WOO HOOO! SO good. My husband got the Black Bean Patty Burger and that also was tasty. We also got the Caesar Salad which came with the best croutons. I absolutely recommend eating here. The staff was super nice. They have specials and flavored coffees. They also have sandwiches and food in a front case. Cute merch too!!

Yelp
You might want to order your lunch online and then go in to order your espresso from the friendly barista. This place is a hidden gem well known to the locals for their sandwiches and salads, pastries and espresso drinks. I didn't order ahead but the line went fast because of the experienced line chefs and the efficient hostess/order-taker/cashier. I had the mango chicken salad, a delightful change of traditional chicken salad. I will be going back tomorrow morning for a sugar free flavored latte. Probably pumpkin spice!

Yelp
I am vegan and this was only one of a couple of places that had "clean" vegan food in Edgartown. Their salads were wonderful and fresh and the vegan brownie was soooo good!

Hunter H.

Yelp
Absolutely horrible place. If you are looking to get ripped off, go to Espresso Love in Edgartown. For a $17 sandwhich, expect to get a sliver of meat on it. Literally, it will cover half of your sandwhich. When you ask them to put some more meat on it, expect a $5 additional charge. All of there sandwiches, Katama Kitchen, Turkey Club, Etc. Rude people. Terrible service. Absurd prices. NEVER GO.

Ori E.

Yelp
Disappointing coffee, had cappuccino tasted like watered down milk... Not worth the wait or money.. do not recommend it........

Yelp
Wow, this place has degraded. I ordered a breakfast burrito. It was cold and meager. My wife ordered a healthy breakfast wrap. It was an embarrassing floppy display. Used to love the food here, but if today is any indication, it's fallen off.

Yelp
Lovely little spot we were so lucky to find open in late November. Absolutely beautiful staff with awesome service. They made the perfect Cortado and Chai latte. The hot chocolate and iced coffee were also delicious. We ate some amazing stuff like the Sunrise on a bagel, a chicken veggie soup, and a Turkey Bacon on a gluten free wrap. The best treat was the awesome conversation with Diana who we became instant friends with! I highly recommend coming in and enjoying this beautiful place with such great energy!

Yelp
I can't comment on the food because after 35 minutes of waiting (and being misled on the "status of my order") I never received any food. I get it, we're on island time. But when someone inquires about the status of an order they put in 15 minutes ago, and you brush them off with a "yes they're getting to it," only to be told 20 minutes later that your order was never put in, it honestly feels like you deserve more than a refund. At least an apology. I'm literally here for one day, have 3 hours to my afternoon, and just needed a sandwich to bring on a bike ride. Instead I came away empty handed, having lost a quarter of the time I had to spend, and not really getting an apology. F this place.
google avatar

Ann E.

Yelp
The food and bakery items are always fresh and well prepared, the staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable, the patio is lovely. Always a stop when I'm on island.

Yelp
Love the latte! Had an oat milk 12oz with half sweet (vanilla). The blueberry raspberry squares are AMAZE ING!!!! Every time we come to Edgartown, I have to visit! 11th year to visit! When we were there at Thanksgiving, I believe they said they would be closing. I hope I'm wrong. I love this place so much, I cried when they were closed the last day of our trip, cause I wanted to get a souvenir.

Yelp
This place looked super intriguing because of the wide variety of healthier and vegetarian-friendly options. We woke up on the later side and were looking for a place to grab a small meal. I had to do some convincing because GF was craving seafood but I ultimately won her over. The only thing in between me and their powerhouse sandwich (havarti, avocado, cucumber, pesto, lettuce, tomato) was a quick trip to drop something off at UPS in Vineyard Haven. Yelp incorrectly told me that this place is open until 8pm. It's not. On Friday, the day of our patronization, it closes at 4pm. We arrived back in Edgartown with enough time to walk in through the door at the buzzer, around 3:45pm. We had planned this out so I walked up to the register man to place our order. Prior to placing my order, while standing at the register, the dude was on the phone on what seemed like a personal phone call and said something like, "we close at 4pm so I'll be there soon". My coworkers will tell you that I am certainly not the pinnacle of professionalism by any means but I mean, taking a personal phone call while a customer is waiting to order at the register is one of the most unprofessional experiences I have endured in the hospitality industry. When his phone call was complete and he graced me with his attention, I ordered 2 matcha lattes. When attempting to order my highly awaited sandwich, I was informed that the kitchen was closed. I don't know exactly when the kitchen closes but it's before the closing time of 4pm and I did not see any indication of this on their website or menu. Ummmm ok. That was a bummer. The iced matcha lattes also had no sweetener whatsoever and there was no sweetener out for me to add myself nor did they offer any when I ordered. Largely because of the sweetener issue, the latte was just meh. The last 1/3 of it included chunks of undissolved matcha which to me just indicates laziness with its preparation. But, you know, clearly that employee had somewhere to be and the lattes we spent, no joke, over $15 on combined, did not require more than 2 seconds of effort. Anyways, needless to say I think I will be spending my money on overpriced stuff elsewhere next time I visit.

Yelp
It's expensive but food and coffee is very good. We ordered 2 coffees, breakfast sandwiches, and 2 pastries and the total was almost $50. The latte was the best one I've had on the island so far. The sandwiches were a little small but tasty. We really enjoyed the blueberry scone and raspberry muffin too. The staff was friendly and the service was pretty quick. Just a lot of money for a standard breakfast.

Deja T.

Yelp
John from Miami was great! very friendly and informative and on top of that BEST BAGEL EVER!!! so good. will be back

Amanda P.

Yelp
I would simply pass away without Espresso love. Try the hazelnut ice coffee, it won't disappoint. Additionally their veggie burger is out of this world and the specials are often delightful.
google avatar

David T.

Yelp
Small but efficient little cafe. The Katuma Chicken Sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Really delicious.
google avatar

Alex C.

Yelp
Didn't get any drinks so can't vote for that. However service and food were great! Got the BLT, only took about 7 mins to make, and made very well. The employee at the front desk was very friendly as well. There's another coffee/breakfast place down the street, this one is by far bigger, cleaner looking, and nicer/kind staff.
google avatar

Amy T.

Yelp
If you go early in the morning there's a lot where you can park your car. Their coffee is delicious and there's a garden there on the patio. We enjoyed it!

Diane S.

Yelp
Outstanding service. emailed in a large order for pick up for a wedding party to nosh on before the late afternoon event Great, fresh coffee and food! Jon was a pleasure to work with. Great team working behind counters
google avatar

Stephanie S.

Yelp
I really enjoy the atmosphere of this cafe. The staff is friendly and helpful. I had the absolute best masala chai tea latte with almond milk (can you say yum)!! And they sell cool merchandise as well! This is definitely a must-see if you're headed to the Vineyard.
google avatar

Yelp
got sweeten matcha and they did not add syrup and i paid for it staff tried to act like they made it correctly when i simply asked for some syrup
google avatar

Yelp
Review is only based on one item. I got a blueberry scone that was amazing. Great flavor. Baked perfectly. It was also crowded and smelled good with coffee but I'm not a coffee person and didn't get any
google avatar

Rich Z.

Yelp
Great coffee. Very good coffee. Staff was efficient and professional. I also had the New Yorker bagel two days in a row. Great. There is a patio out back. Really nice spot.

David M.

Yelp
Visiting Martha's Vineyard & stumbled upon this place for breakfast. Ice tea & coffee were very good & sandwiches were very good.
google avatar

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoy this coffee house / cafe. We are locals and go at least 1-2x per week. The coffee (we've had house coffee, espressos, and tea drinks) is always solid. Not too sweet, always delicious. We've had bagels there (some of my favorite on the island), the New Yorker bagel sandwich, other sandwiches and they've always been solid as well. Zero complaints. Always quick. Friendly service.

Lashawn S.

Yelp
I want to applaud and thank Johnathan for the extraordinary customer service and care that he provided this morning! I had a catastrophic spillage (okay I dropped my drink in the car right after I received) and he and the crew sent paper towels and a freshly made latte! The food is delicious and so are the staff! Thank you from the cinnamon toast latte lady! Definitely worth supporting
google avatar

Annie M.

Yelp
The best coffee and breakfast sandwiches. The yogurt and granola is delicious. Lunch sandwiches are also so good. I dream about The Mama veggie burger. Sitting in the garden to eat is so lovely.
google avatar

Kail P.

Yelp
Love stopping here for my lunch and mid-shift snacks! I've been losing weight and feeling healthier having this cafe closer to me. If you're feeling like a treat, I recommend their blueberry oatmeal bars. The vegan burger here is also such a great bite! See you tomorrow.

Yelp
Food is consistently great, coffee drinks are good and the service varies based on which employee takes your order. Jonathan is a standout employee at the Edgartown location- he is always friendly, incredibly helpful and attentive (if you are standing around waiting for an order for more than 5 minutes, he will notice and ask what you're waiting for and actually check on the order for you). He is the type of employee that makes you want to be a regular. All of their breakfast items (scones, bagels, etc) are solid but don't overlook the lunch/dinner items they offer - they are one of the few spots offering healthy salad and sandwich options. This place is much more than a coffee spot so definitely worth a visit!
google avatar

Cristina B.

Yelp
The espresso is terrible, tastes completely burnt, but the vegan pastries, particularly the blueberry scone, were delicious.
google avatar

Art C.

Yelp
We liked but didn't love our espresso here (see what I did there). It was decent though- beggars can't be choosy. There aren't a lot of great options on the island it seems.
google avatar

Jim W.

Yelp
We at here both days we stayed on the island. It was a short walk from our hotel. They also are among the earliest opening restaurants, so they benefit from the early lack of competition. When we visited, about half the clientele were workmen and landscapers getting some early food/coffee. If you visit early, they are likely solo-staffed, so be a bit patient. They have good bagel sandwiches, baked goods, and smoothies. All of our party came away satisfied with whatever they ordered. The wait for the food was not that long. We did not visit for lunch, so I cannot advise about that. Overall, I liked this place a lot (especially at the cusp of season-opening time when there are few other choices). I'd go back if we returned to Edgartown.

Kara K.

Yelp
The food was good and reasonably priced! Very busy but the wait is not bad at all. They have gluten free bread and wraps available as well! Will go again!

Brian W.

Yelp
I ordered two breakfast sandwiches with bacon on an everything bagel. The woman behind the counter was like "ok" which made me nervous so I asked for cheese on it as well. She then said sure and ran down cheese options, starting with cream cheese. Umm what? After telling her I wanted cheddar I paid and tipped her 25 percent. The sammies came out with bacon, cheese, and no egg. I mean, don't breakfast sammys come with egg? and if confused, wouldn't one ask if one wanted egg? So.. bad.
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
Really appreciated that they offer a vegan burrito option! Limited options on the island for vegans. Very flavorful and the perfect amount of spice.
google avatar

Erin W.

Yelp
This spot is great for casual sandwiches to-go or coffee/pastries on the patio. I got a Caesar salad and an iced green tea -- both of which were good and reasonably priced. I love the laidback atmosphere and the extensive menu. Would definitely recommend for something on the more casual side!
google avatar

Ali C.

Yelp
We visited on a Sunday afternoon because most of the other places we're closed. Good salads, great quiche, nice sitting area. However, service was brusque, unsmiling and somewhat not welcoming. Not sure why that was, but it took away from what would have been a higher rating.
google avatar

Jonathan M.

Yelp
This place was very Family friendly. You need to get a lock bagel and also try the egg and cheese wrap. The outside seating is beautiful and the prices are good.
google avatar

Damien S.

Yelp
The $8 Katama Chicken sandwich is micro'd chicken (replete with fake grill marks), pepper jack cheese, L, T, O and chipotle mayo on dense, dry focaccia. It's sustenance, and eating it feels like a lunch break at a corporate retreat (sans Sun Chips and fruit salad that's all honeydew and soft strawberries). The $8 smoothie is fresh frozen fruit, blended with either apple or orange juice. And while the menu might say it has peaches and berries and mango, it's really just whatever they have on hand. I'm a fan of improv, but if someone orders a strawberry banana smoothie, there's a reasonable expectation that banana will be a part of it. It wasn't, and this fact was announced after the drink was made, with a dismissive "It's better this way anyway!" Silver lining: the cookies are absolutely stellar. Continuous cloud cover: the counter staff were entirely untrained, but it was early in the season, so... training wheels, I reckon.
google avatar

Bill M.

Yelp
This was definitely the tastiest sandwich that I experienced in town the week I was here. Menu was a little over the top for my taste but it will appeal to many others. I also liked the seating area weather was nice.
google avatar

Chad S.

Yelp
Espresso Love consistently deliveries exceptional quality, food and service is top notch aswell. It is a close walk from where I keep my catamaran in Edgartown Harbor. I would highly recommend if you're in downtown Edgartown.
google avatar

Kim M.

Yelp
Great coffee and more, had a bagel sandwich and got a piece of carrot cake, both were so yummy!!

Kathryn Z.

Yelp
Delish coffee & sandwiches. I get the Mama sun mustard for pesto - *chefs kiss*. Definitely a great breakfast/lunch spot.
google avatar

Lindsey B.

Yelp
We ordered from Expresso Love twice ahead of time to bring lunch to the beach. It was the easiest process ever. Order and pay online, then pick up food. Our food was always ready before it said so online, and was with us giving them maybe five minutes less or so. The sandwiches were also delicious-- turkey and turkey club the first day, and then the katana chicken sandwich and turkey club again the second day. We ordered chips and some sweets as well-- delicious cookies (we had chocolate chip and oatmeal chocolate chip) and also lemon squares! Very lemony and still good after hanging out in the truck for a couple hours. It was the perfect beach lunch!!

Les W.

Yelp
Amazing service and drinks...my family loves the Chai latte and the love blend. We come here year round, you won't find better coffee on the island. -Les

Yelp
1 star solely based on how incredibly rude the staff is. I'm surprised that I've seen reviews from over a year ago saying the same exact thing and clearly nothing has changed. There was a young girl working the counter who was extremely unpleasant and rude when I was ordering and then asked if there was a bathroom. We also saw a boy working the counter snap at a customer when he tried to take a cup and didn't realize there was some outside. After waiting a while for 1 bagel and looking at several bags that were sitting to-go on the counter, I asked if one was for us and she said "no I already looked." Well she looked at it once more and sure enough it was ours. By far some of the worst customer service I've seen anywhere

Victoria D.

Yelp
It's popular and commercial. Basic espresso and food. It's decent if you need caffeine and sustenance. Don't expect a great latte made with care and "love." They have a great espresso machine but the execution is lacking.
google avatar

Jenn S.

Yelp
I have never heard of Espresso Love, despite them having a location in Boston... We went here for a late lunch on a recommendation and were quite happy. The girl who took our order was super friendly and even brought the food out to us on the patio. We split the Chicken Avo BLT (grilled chicken breast, bacon, avocado, mayo on toasted sour dough) and the Tom (turkey, american, lettuce, tomato, sprouts, mayo, cranberry sauce on 12 grain bread). Each sandwich was $10.99 and came with tortilla chips (a nice change from regular chips) and a good size pickle slice (yum). The BLT was nice & warm, and full of flavor. The Tom was very good, but not as flavorful as the BLT. I didn't really taste the havarti... We were given huge cups of tap water, which is a huge plus. One of our biggest pet peeves is when places give you itty bitty cups of water, because they want you to have purchased a drink instead. I might need to make a visit to the Boston location now - if only to try one of the AMAZING looking desserts (blueberry cheesecake bar? YES PLEASE).

Daniel P.

Yelp
Great spot. Great little outdoor terrace and above all absolutely great service. The food was divine. We savored every bite but we couldn't of enjoyed our meal without the delectable service provided to us by, quite honestly the best worker that you have in your business named, Jaime.
