Essaïon Théâtre

We watched the production for kids "et si" and it was great. Suitable for small children as it only lasts 35 minutes. The theatre itself is kind of small and was full but that wasn't an issue.

Lovely little underground theatre. Literally, it’s underground. Two spaces 50ish seats each. You get some quality artists here and the place has some history.

Saw an excellent show here, but the seating is exceptionally crampt and uncomfortable! If you're tall, you will suffer here! We were lucky that the show was not sold out! So we could stretch over several seats! But it's also nice and intimate!

A gem of a theater nested in the heart of vibrant Maret. You will enjoy the play in a nice room carved in a cellar with close proximity to the actors. A great experience 🎭

This was the highlight of our trip to Paris this year. We loved the show and highly recommend it. Would go back again. Ms Nin does a fantastic job of engaging the audience and telling the story. Loved it.

Just witnessed the most superb one-man performance of Valjean, Beyond Les Miserables! Admittedly I'm a great admirer of Hugo and the Jean Valjean character, so I went to the play believing - and the actor did not disappoint. He was Jean Valjean! I was transported. The intimate Essaion Theatre was the perfect setting. Go see it!

Great little theater. Good acoustics. You hear easily on the back row. But come early. Otherwise you risk sitting on a mid row fold out seat.

Difficult to find, but so worth the journey! I reserved a spot online. The place is tiny, but that means there isn't a bad seat in the house! I highly suggest visiting.
