Estació Del Nord

I stayed here while traveling with students this past January. The rooms were clean and spacious, the service was excellent. It is family run and everyone went out of their way to help us. Being that the people of Vic speak Catalan, the receptionist even gave us a quick lesson in key Catalan phrases. If you are worried because the description says it is above a train station, don't be. It is very quiet, I did not hear a train once. The hotel is walking distance from downtown Vic and great shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay in this city and hotel. Highly recommend.

We only stayed one night between a walking holiday and a stay in Barcelona. The hotel is a stylish conversion of the original station building - the rooms are simply furnished but comfortable. Both the air conditioning and the Wi-Fi worked well. You are given a voucher for breakfast which is taken at a pleasant café just across the road. Obviously the hotel is very convenient for the station but it is also only 10 minutes walk from Vic's historic main square and old town where there are loads of good value bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

If you are on a tight budget, it's clean and comfortable. If you are not then the rooms are on the second floor with no elevator; parking is a bit of a hike on the other side of the rail tracks (if you are fortunate enough to find a space), and the included breakfast has artificial foods and caused us to find breakfast elsewhere. Likely great for backpackers; should be off limits for over 50's. The amenities don't make up for the experience of staying over the train tracks.

Been here twice now. This place is very quiet (considering it is above the train station), reasonably priced, clean, and very comfortable. I will stay here whenever I go to Vic. It is walking distance to the square. The only drawback is that they give you very small toiletries.

Stayed here for 6 nights due to an international week organised by UVic. Location great, when you arrive at Vic's trainstation, whoomp, there it is! Sound proof, so hardly any noise to be heard from trains or traffic. Spacious and clean accommodation, good shower, comfy bed, cleaned everyday and good WiFi. Staff friendly! Basically, very good value for your money. Vic is a nice, little, quiet and authentic town, lots of bars, pastry shops and restaurants around. If I will return to Vic (about 50 km from Barcelona by train or local express bus), then I will stay here again! The train ride through the Catalonian hills is also recommendable. Saludos!!!

We checked in last minute and the staff was friendly. Extremely helpful in helping us find a parking space near the hotel. She also made sure our child was comfortable in the room. Would definitely stay here again. Good value and friendly staff.

Very clean and quiet place. Very nice, very good location. The team was very helpful and lovly. The price was very reasonable. We will defantly go back.
