We rather accidentally came to this place on a Saturday afternoon at 5 p.m. It was almost empty, so we were a bit sceptical. But not for long: the staff were very welcoming, the drinks amazing and the food absolutely delicious. Half an hour later, the restaurant was full and the ambience very relaxed. We really enjoyed everything about Estancia 460!

It has been a long time since I have ate everything on my plate in a restaurant. Everything was hot and fresh and so tasty. The soup was chicken soup it may sound boring but it was incredible. Each dish just kept getting better. Very nice atmosphere, cozy. Servers that truly took care of your dining experience.

Google
a really cute, cozy neighborhood spot. was not noisy or too crowded at all on a sunday evening. the menu is limited but what they did have was pretty good. the chicken is basically a giant chicken cutlet with various toppings. i ordered one that tasted like chicken parm with a slice of prosciutto. it looks unassuming, but it was quite filling. coming back to try the steak sandwich next time. perfect for a casual date or small gathering.

This was unfortunately Not the typical "good" Argentinan food im accustomed to- Came here for my birthday- I ordered the Garlic Parmesan crusted chicken & it had no flavor whatsoever - The cutlet was very thick and it was bland - No hint of garlic or parmesan flavor at all- I was personally disappointed & would not return- Sorry. I'm Uruguayan & love Argentinan & Uruguayan food, but this particular dish was not good- sorry. 😕 The restaurant was nice & server was good too. My friends were content with their dishes tho so I would say maybe go and give it a try... FYI- Pretty pricey= We paid $200 for 4 dishes plus a tip.

Google
The outdoor space is really cute. Cute spot for a drink and people watching in the summer, or a good date spot! Ordered calamari, medium rare rib eyes. The calamari — 6/10. Wasn’t really crispy and too soggy/oily for my preference. The ribeye steak — 8.5/10. Could’ve been a little rarer, a little too well done for my taste. Chimmichurri sauce has the perfect level of spice and goes well with the steak. The Cappucino — 11/10. was really good. One of the best cappucinos I’ve had in a while.

Ordered the Parillada for Two and the meat was super flavorful and tender! Even the chicken was super juicy

Came for a happy hour around 4pm on a Friday and the place wasn’t crowded at all, and I like that. My friend and I plopped ourselves at the bar. Our bartender was very attentive and just happy to be there. That’s a great thing these days when it comes to customer service, at least this is what I noticed living here in NYC. My friend ordered empanada and I ordered their grilled vegetables. I had a glass of Sauvignon blanc and he a plain Casamigo soda. U know that they used the freshest vegetables because I know they only used olive oil and some salt and pepper but the dish really tasted amazing. I actually forgot to take photos lol. I will definitely come back. If you’re looking for a quaint white place to dine in, this Argentinian inspired restaurant didn’t disappoint.

Google
Had such a lovely time at Estancia 460. I chose the restaurant based on the atmosphere, as I was going on a date. The food was outstanding, I had the steak salad and he ordered a milanesa. And we had empanadas as starters. Our wine selection was exquisite. Staff was attentive but also gave us plenty of breathing room. Delightful experience, highly recommend.

Yelp
My new favorite restaurant! Everything is fresh and filling, you can taste the care and love put into the dishes. The ambiance is comforting and inviting, the kind of place you could sit and eat and drink for hours. The bartenders are very nice. 10/10

Theresa L.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch and Estancia 460 did not disappoint!! The entire menu looked so good I had such a hard time choosing what to get. I ended up having the Milanesa Sandwich, and it was delicious. The portion was a good size for lunch and the side salad sub for the fries made it so it wasn't too heavy to continue the day. The inside is really nice and cozy. We were served pretty quickly, and the service was friendly! Love the area as well, can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu.

Sejal M.

Yelp
Looooved this place! Came here numerous times during the summer as they have some of the best aperol spritzes by far. The seating outside is perfectly tucked away on a quiet Tribeca street. Not only are the drinks good but the food was outstanding. We've been here so many times and have tried a variety of things. What stood out to me was the parm crusted chicken and the chicken salad. A perfect satiating meal. Servers and service is also one for the books. Worth going to!

Antonella N.

Yelp
Phone did NOT eat first on the dessert... but 10/10!!! I also got a sangria during their happy hour which was phenomenal. Everyone working here was incredibly nice and so accommodating. Service was quick and the menu is so hard to choose from. Everything sounds and looks so good

Alan S.

Yelp
I wouldn't start a review in reverse order if not for the dessert being the star of the show. Who knew that it was never nutella, but dulce de leche that should really be filling crepes worldwide. And in case that dulce was insufficient, Estancia provides another generous delicious dollop with the otherwise airy flan. Among the main courses, served in pleasant and buzzy if somewhat unmemorable environs, the favorites were the pizza bianca, which had a perfect combination of garlicky spinach with mild ricotta and funky gorgonzola, and the grilled mozzarella, which was a welcome upgrade to a traditional caprese. As for appetizers, I would skip the empanadas - don't expect the delicate baked varieties found within the city limits of Buenos Aires, these were heavily fried.

Erika H.

Yelp
Loved this place! I came across their menu online and everything sounded so good so I decided to try it. The food was all great, portions were huge, and I loved the casual/family-friendly vibe of the restaurant.

Jason B.

Yelp
This is just for the shakshuka. While you know going in that it's not a traditional one given the inclusion of italian sausage and mozzarella, what you don't know is that half the dish is mozzarella which makes it nothing like shakshuka which traditionally has no cheese. You can barely taste the egg under all the cheese and the sausage did not taste of good quality. I'm sure other things are better tasting but i suggest avoiding this menu option.

Shannon F.

Yelp
YUM! Estancia 460 is a great place to pop into if you are in Tribeca and looking for something a little more low key. The sandwiches are incredible, same with the drinks and selection of wines. The fries are so crispy too. The portions are slightly smaller however so amazing. The steak on the bistecca sandwich was delicious.

Josephine L.

Yelp
Tribeca isn't known for casual neighborhood bistros (I think it's all the billionaires, but what do I know?)--but Estancia 460 is an exception. Super friendly staff, tasty food, affordable prices, and most importantly, an owner who adores Argentinian wine and can advise you on the best bottle (or 5) for your meal. Did I mention they also have a killer happy hour until 7pm where glasses of wine go for $10? The food itself isn't super Argentinian in nature--except maybe the Italian part--but it tastes good in your mouth and that's what counts. Try the Fried Calamari to start, and the Bolognese for a hearty finish. Service was super hip and friendly--again, not what I expect from Tribeca. Maybe I wandered into the Twilight Zone?

Hayward L.

Yelp
Argentinian restaurant and bar with a good happy hour in Tribeca. Until 7pm they offer $12 cocktails and $6 beer, which is not bad for this area. The pizza is quite good if you need a bar snack to go with it. Outside of the happy hour specials, they have a wider selection of drinks, my favorite is the Exit Strategy. Regular cocktails run around $16 each. Decor is quite low key but the service is generally pretty good and they also have wifi.

Yelp
On Friday night, my friend and I went here for a cute friend date. The vibes are very cute, but unfortunately the food we ordered was pretty mediocre. The place is hard to find at first and I passed it cuz it looks like some random building and the restaurant name is pretty small on the window. The starting bread was delicious and we got the garlic shrimp appetizer which was pretty good. Unfortunately we both got the ribeye and neither of us liked our steaks. Perhaps other things on the menu were better, but the ribeye was not seasoned well. The flavor was pretty bland and my steak (which I ordered medium and it was a little too red) was kinda stringy. The mashed potatoes that came with the steak were okay. I didn't mind them but I wouldn't go out of my way to order them. They're very garlicky and I think my preference is more creamy and buttery. That's just a preference thing though. I do believe that the steaks we received were objectively subpar. The servers were nice but we also felt very rushed by them to order and then to leave at the end. I wouldn't go back because I spent $75 on a meal that was okay. (That's one drink, a shared appetizer, the main and tip.) There is probably other food that is actually delicious here but unfortunately there are so many restaurants in NY that I would want to try a new place first!

Nicole H.

Yelp
So if you saw my review of North Bar, you'll see me allude to the amazingly accommodating owner and staff at Estancia. We were a group of 8, and even though they had a packed house, the owner and manager went out of their way to make space for our party. We did an array of dishes and served everything up family style, but the true standouts were the Latina pizza and garlic shrimp. I desperately want to go back to try their steak because the table next to us got the hangar and the rib eye and I almost stole pieces of meat off their plates.

Austin S.

Yelp
I've been here on two occasions now and both times it was good. Had a cocktail and a coffee one time and then did lunch the other time. Service is good and I like the large selection of food. Will be back.

Marcelle M.

Yelp
Very unfortunate expierence for lunch here. My table came for a quick lunch mid day during work in tribeca. We were the first customers for lunch and we were appalled by the time the food took to arrive. The 3 of us placed an order of empanadas and asked for 3 different empanadas (come with an order of 3) instead of 1 order of 3 empanadas we were served 3 orders of 3 empanadas.... The empanadas took about 30 minutes to arrive and then we had to order our mains We each orders salads and they took about 25 min to prepare and we had to ask for the salads packed to go. I was a bit confused why empanadas and salads took over an hour to prepare. Our waitress could have been a bit more customer centric and aware of our order. Th calamari salad I ordered was good but I'd still not return due to the poor service

Sherry J.

Yelp
All the good reviews are incredibly misleading. What I liked: - The vibe - The chorizo Problems: - Food takes about 30-45min to arrive - Asked for medium steak and it came out quite rare - Lack of service We sat and stared at the kitchen door waiting for our food to come even after the drinks were done. There are other restaurants with better quality food and similar vibes. I would go elsewhere.

Heena J.

Yelp
I Pick this place to meet up with a couple of friends from out of town and I chose this place because it was in Tribeca and it was close to me and there was happy hour. I wasn't expecting much but this place came out to be great. We ordered and shared a vegetable pasta, empanadas, a cheese appetizer and mushroom pizza, in addition to having some red sangria. Everything was good, and the ambience is wonderful.

Pablo V.

Yelp
Quick recap: good food, excellent vibe and setting, slow but friendly service. A decent place to try if you're not in a hurry. Came here to get some good meat. While the steak portions of my meal tasted good, some parts were undercooked. Which is ironic since the food took about 50 minutes to come out after ordering. The chicken portion also tasted good but the chicken was a bit dry. Again, flavor is there, but the execution was not. When we complained about the wait time they said it should be out shortly and never tried to explain or compensate for the wait. A decent spot with good flavor and ambiance but only come here if you have time and patience.

Yelp
I'm very disappointed in the quality of food at this restaurant, for TriBeCa I really expected better quality. Argentina food is well know for their meat so I ordered the entrana (skirt flank steak). By far it was the worst steak I have ever eaten in my life! I had to try very hard to cut into my steak! It literally took ten strokes across the plate to get in piece off and mind you I ordered medium rare. (They did get the color right.) Not only could i not cut through with my knife I could barely chew it and swallow it. It was also to burnt for my taste. I can still taste the burnt meat in my mouth Perhaps it was my mouth getting exhausted from working out but the kale that came along was also hard to chew and really lacked flavor. At the end of my meal my mouth was sore and tired from chewing. I was very hungry so I ate the whole thing. Now you would ask why didn't i ask someone to swamp out my steak. That's because no one came to ask how we were doing. No one really came around to replenish the water. This lack of service is very unacceptable when it wasn't a pack night. The hostess just stood there looking pretty. Now the terrible steak is why I'm giving this a 1 star. But on top of that we order share meat and cheese platter as appetizer. It came out pretty dry and I wasn't so impressed by the meat and cheese. It was subpar. Maybe they could have drizzled some EVOO on the greens. If you are looking for some good Argentina steak house, I would recommend visiting Buenos Aires in the east village. You get more bang for you buck there and definitely no hard to chew steak

Bonnie R.

Yelp
Service was excellent. My order, however, was a disappointment. I ordered ensalada mista with salmon. I requested that the salmon be cooked well done with skin removed. It was not cooked that way. It was rare, and the skin was left on. I also ordered a cranberry juice with vodka, but all I got was cranberry juice. My responsibility for not sending it back, but it was not convenient with family to do that

Jess T.

Yelp
Service was terrible. Food was fine, but really not great. Caesar salad was not a Caesar- you know things are bad when not even the Caesar is good.

Kevin H.

Yelp
Came here with some friends. We made a reservation so we were able to get a table pretty quickly. I shared the parillada for two which came with 2 cuts of meat, sausage, chicken, potatoes, chimichurri sauce, and some pickled onions and tomatoes. I would definitely order it again - the food was good and so was the chimichurri sauce had great flavor. My favorite was the skirt steak with the chimichurri. The portions were huge too. Minus one star because when we sat down we were only given one menu for a table of 6 and it took awhile to order. The food took a solid 30-45 minutes to come out after we ordered.

Fletcher B.

Yelp
Simplicity and elegance highlights everything that is so special about this spot. You cannot think of more beautiful space to take in a delicious meal. Somehow this place captures a family run mom and pop vibe while cheffing up perfect dishes. It's like pizza and pasta were invented here. Low key love the milanesas- never been to Argentina but want to now. Oh and the cocktails are awesome. Perfect for dates. Perfect for family gatherings. There is love in this restaurant!

Judy P.

Yelp
Incredible service and friendly staff, and everything was fresh and delicious from appetizers to dessert! We ordered the garlic shrimp, grilled veggies, pizza with manchego cheese, milanesa, fig and hazelnut gelato. We both drank Mocktails that were delicious as well!

Amanda S.

Yelp
The service and food was excellent! We had the steak salad, medium rare and the empanadas as appetizers. The chimichurri was the real deal. We finished our meal with delicious crepes with dulce de leche and strawberries. Will come again!

Deirdre L.

Yelp
It's been a few years since we were last here but very happy to see they made it through Covid. We sat outside and the service was excellent, food was also fabulous. I find brunch to be a bit boring generally but the options here were great- Shakshuka was very tasty and we had a lovely bottle of Malbec. Our waiter was top notch. Highly recommend!

Tam N.

Yelp
Just spontaneously strolled in here with a friend to grab a late night glass or two of vino. Such a warm and inviting spot. It felt like drinking at a friend's after a night out but without the awkwardness of having to say your goodbyes when you're ready to slip out for the night.

Waseem C.

Yelp
I stopped in for happy hour as my wife works in TriBeCa Was very impressed by their Argentinian wine selection ...particularly the Benegas Pinot Noir ! And these empanadas are mouth watering

Visual C.

Yelp
The best pasta ever, and great service to match. From the moment we walked in our waitress Lucia was attentive and polite. We started with a rosalita which she referred for us to try along with a glass of the Cabernet wine. The empanadas we're great but took quite a bit to come out and the bolognese pasta was out of this world! Lucia steered out experience in the right direction finishing us off with the dulce de leche crepes! Definitely a must to try if you are in Tribeca!

Alex P.

Yelp
Nice outdoor seating, friendly service, very good quality bread and olive oil dip. Good shrimp linguine. And I liked the mock tail, I think it was pomegranate, it was red.

Phoebe B.

Yelp
Delicious food and great ambiance. I split the empanadas with a friend to start and they were delicious. I had the steak sandwich with fries - the steak was cooked beautifully and the fries were perfect. My friend had the peppercorn shrimp and loved it. We finished the night with the chocolate banana bread pudding with vanilla gelato and it was one of the most satisfying desserts I have had in a long while. Our server was very nice and attentive. We had the opportunity to speak with one of the owners and he was very nice and welcoming. 10/10 recommend Estancia 460.

Jennifer R.

Yelp
We weren't sure what to expect walking into this restaurant on a Fri for an early dinner in May. We have never had Argentinian food before. It seemed close to Italian to us. They have pizza, pasta, and bread with olive oil for dipping. The space had simple decor. The servers were fantastic, giving us time to enjoy our company & food. The linguini was done perfectly, full of mussels & clams, but was swimming in the sauce. The hanger steak was ordered med-rare & arrived at temp. The marinade was flavorful but not overwhelming. The potatoes were subbed with grilled asparagus, which was fine by me. We did not have room for dessert. We were happy with our meals & would recommend this restaurant for a date nite or quiet evening out

Charlotte D.

Yelp
I honestly can't remember the last time I had a meal so terrible in NYC. Breaded chicken with two eggs plonked on top. Side of fries that was forgotten and brought out 20 minutes later: I asked for marinara sauce to go with it because it was so dry - sauce was brought out 25 minutes later and they had the cheek to charge for me extra for it. Server was friendly but we told her how disappointing the food was and no effort was made to comp anything or even offer us a drink. The HH drinks were nice but didn't make up for the food. A really disappointing experience. Not quite sure how this place had such good reviews.

Eliz G.

Yelp
I like this place - it's close to my home and I often go for a drinks and bites at the bar. The menu is edited and changes seasonally with nice variety though meat oriented. Excellent wines. It can get very loud so that you can not hear your dinner partners - for this reason I'm giving 4 stars. In northern. Tribeca just south of Canal and Couple blocks from the Hudson River.

Krystyna S.

Yelp
Where to begin! What a beautiful and intimate little gem tucked away in Tribeca! I had the steak (cooked to perfection), empanadas (never had anything like them before!) and their warm family recipe, the mozzarella! The staff felt like family, and the bartender was very cute, too! He made a great nutty Russian (or 3). So excited to come back and visit!! Can't wait to bring my gal pals and have a little too much fun at the bar (again).

Jessica M.

Yelp
I just had "dinner" there tonight with my husband and two children. We are tourist from Miami and I'm Argentinean and husband was dying for some steak and unfortunately google brought us here... Let me start by saying, that everyone was very welcoming, and yes there is great ambience... the neighborhood is lovely and you can definitely tell that "owner" has her regulars that like to come in to say hi specially for "happy hour". No complains with the staff! However being Argentinian and knowing my meats and or wines, I can tell you this place is NOT Argentinean. An Argentinean place will offer a parrillada the way it is. Complete with ( churrasco , flank steak , short ribs & vacio) 4 different cuts A Parrilada also includes Chorizo, morcilla , mollejas... primary items in Una Parrilada. Whether you eat them or not, if you order a Parrilada you should expect to have that in your plate. Well that's not even a choice in what they offer to be a "Parrilada"! So that wasn't even an option. We ordered Flank steak, we ordered it ( Med) if was completely rare on the inside and burnt on the outside... anyone who knows steak will tell you that's not properly cooked! Our "empanadas" which is a Staple of Argentinean Cuisine, was an embarrassment. And they know this. Empanadas were filled with the boloñesa sauce they use for their pasta... NOT AN EMPANADA filling!!! Never have I ever had an empanada made that way! Look I saw a few people walk in around 5:30 6pm on beautiful day. It was obvious that most people were friends with owner. But honestly this place is more like a social club, than a true Argentinean restaurant! We walked quite a few blocks to get there the moment we saw steak house/ Argentinean Parrilada. But people, don't be fooled! This is no where near an Argentinean restaurant. So if you're looking for a true steak house, Argentinean restaurant, this is NOT IT! I think if she were to change the description of her restaurant she'd receive better reviews, and people's expectations would meet their standards!!! ‍

Yelp
I came here for a friend's birthday. A group of 10 girls. Food was ok and our server was decent. Some dishes were bland, but some of my girlfriends didn't mind it. We asked for salt and pepper for those who needed it. We order the strip bass with quinoa and zuchinni and Italiano Pizza with sides of brussle sprouts, kale and sautéed spinach for 4 of the girls to share since we weren't super hungry. I've only tried the calamari and sausage spaghetti out of other dishes the other girls have ordered. Calamari was not bad. The sausage spaghetti was tasteless. I was expecting the strip bass to have a pan seared crispy skin but it was soggy and chewy. Italiano pizza had too much arugula for my taste and I actually like arugula. It was covered with arugula with very little sausage. Brussle sprouts and kale were bland but the spinach was salty, which was very inconsistent. When the birthday cake came, we took some pictures with the birthday girl. The bartender came over and scolded as us and said "enough with the flash". What type of service is that??? First of all, we're not little kids. We're all grown as women. I understand certain restaurants don't allow you to take pictures of the food or use flash. If we're not allowed to use flash at the establishment, they should've told us ahead of time or noted it somewhere on the menu. Even the customers at the bar looked at her and us after she said it. We weren't embarrassed at all. We were embarrassed for her. She could've said it in another way. We're never coming back.

Derrick L.

Yelp
Great food, great drinks, beautiful atmosphere! Estancia is a welcoming environment from the moment you walk in, to the moment you walk out, but you won't want to leave! The meat is top class as are the pastas and of course, the empanadas. 10/10 if I could on this place, I will be coming back!

Jenna M.

Yelp
Best restaurant in Nyc. The staff is exceptional and food is delicious. They are always beyond accommodating to my family (2 kids under 5) and are polite and overall super rad. This is legitimately my family's favorite restaurant in NYC.

Melanie B.

Yelp
This restaurant holds so many significant memories for me. Intimate & Romantic perfect for the first date. Truly is a hidden gem. The food no matter what you order is AMAZING!! Everytime we requested outdoor seating to enjoy the evening setting.

Sarah S.

Yelp
Lovely people. Always feel welcome. Great neighborhood place. They're diligent about PPP and wearing masks ... correctly. They served the TriBeCa community throughout the pandemic. Thank you!

Daneen P.

Yelp
So , went here today for lunch . We had a quick bite and it was good. But when check came , we asked to split it . The waiter charged us double . He took a couple of dollars off the checks but were doubled of what we ordered. My friend and I are both people of color . We both felt uncomfortable and immediately felt like it was done intentionally. The owner was neither compassionate or caring. As a woman of color, you can feel when something is suspect and shady . This was the case. It was disappointing for sure.

Edmund B.

Yelp
After meandering through north Tribeca one evening and noticing this place tucked into a quiet cobblestoned block of Greenwich Street, I put it on my shortlist of places to try. I got around to going last night and was so completely satisfied all around with the experience. The space and décor are classic and homey, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the skirt steak was delectable, especially combined with the salsa verde that comes on the side. It's places like this that rejuvenate my love for the city, because here it's always possible that your new favorite restaurant could be hiding around the corner, waiting quietly for you to discover it.

Serena N.

Yelp
A unique spot with great ambiance and outdoor seating so you can bring your dog. I even saw a dog at the bar. I was not impressed by the elderflower sangria (white wine) as it had a very bitter taste. The breaded mozzarella was delicious and had great flavor and texture. Service was decent with attentive servers. Candlelight creates a great evening ambiance.

Kim R.

Yelp
Place is amazing. Food is fresh and delicious. Very quaint and sceney. Was packed when we got here so reserve early. Staff could not be nicer or more accommodating. Or server recommended a delicious wine and offered to let us sample until we found one we liked. Was tempted to try them all . Highly recommend.

Ben B.

Yelp
A of all: Melissa is amazing. B of all: If I was about to fall down the stairs and had to choose between saving my phone or an empanada from this place, I'd save the empanada. Delicious.

josue r.

Yelp
The best food ... I can't wait for eat empanadas one more time . The owner is so friendly!!! And the food amazing!!

Catherine S.

Yelp
Lovely neighborhood spot complete with delightful atmosphere and delicious food! Loved sitting on the porch enjoying evening.

Bobby B.

Yelp
Great Bloody Mary. Super friendly staff. delicious salads and sandwiches. Enjoyed an espresso sitting outside on Greenwich Street watching fashion week photo shoots.

Karma M.

Yelp
The owner of the place is very rude and thought it was okay to give me and my friends a whole lecture on how to act as customers. If you cannot handle your customers do not open a restaurant. She ruined our whole lunch. we were sitting down trying to enjoy our last lunch together when she decided to come up to us and lecture us on other people's behavior that she assumed was us. Even when we told her it wasn't us she did not stop. It was very abrasive and not called for. she should have kept it to herself. We will not be coming back to this restaurant again. The food is alright but definitely not worth it.
