"Locally sourced lamb, beef, fish, fruits, and vegetables make Estela a popular farm-to-table choice for visitors to the surfer-and-expat hub of Rincón, a town on Puerto Rico’s northwest coast. But it’s the inspiration from far-flung places that puts the delicious finishing touches on dishes such aswahoo in a ponzu sauce served over basmati rice, and sautéed veggie or tuna sashimi paired with sesame seeds, soy sauce, dragon fruit, ginger, scallions, radishes, and pumpkin seeds. Estela reopened in January 2018, after having been closed several months for storm repairs."

If there’s a place that truly deserves to be recognized among the best dining spots, it’s undoubtedly Estela de Rincón. From the first bite to the last sip, every detail of this experience was impeccable. The “Steak of the Day” featured a spectacular ribeye, perfectly cooked and accompanied by delicious eggplant skewers, soaked in milk and fried to perfection. My choice, the duck breast, was cooked to absolute perfection and served with a mash of sweet potato and another of apple, both so smooth they practically melted in my mouth. The drinks elevated the evening even further: • A refreshing mix of hibiscus vodka, lemon juice, and ginger infusion. • An elegant Rum Old Fashioned, with aged rum, Angostura, orange bitters, and a rosemary infusion. To end on a high note, a Key Lime Pie Brûlée that was simply spectacular. Beyond the food, what makes Estela truly special is the warmth of its team and the chance to chat with Chef Abel, whom we’ve been visiting since 2018. A great human being—humble and passionate about his craft—whose dedication and consistency continue to elevate our local cuisine. As long as my body allows, I will keep coming back to Estela de Rincón. Thank you, Abel, for creating unforgettable experiences!

Estela is, without a doubt, one of my favorite restaurants. During our visit, we tried the rodaballo with chickpeas — absolutely spectacular — along with the ceviche, a salad of local tomatoes, and the “florecita” for dessert. Every dish was a delight. I highly recommend visiting.

Google
Phenomenal food, drinks, and service. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Menu was selective but no bad options. Compliments to the chef - a must eat when in Rincon.

From beginning to end, this was truly a divine experience. The restaurant itself has a lovely ambiance. The waiter was wonderful, providing impeccable service throughout the evening. The food was nothing short of exquisite—each dish bursting with flavor and creativity. The Brussels sprouts were perfectly cooked, and the hummus was incredibly unique. The rum old fashioned was a delicious cocktail that complemented the meal beautifully. To top it all off, the chef came out to personally explain my outstanding dessert, making the evening feel even more special. This wasn’t just a dinner; it was an unforgettable experience.

We went there for dinner and it was average. The portions were small for the price and we regretted going there. If you order the duck breast, be aware that it’s a tiny piece.

I currently live in San Francisco and travel to New York, Chicago, etc. When I go to those cities, I try to go to the best mid-range restaurants (less than $100 a person). Estela was one of the best prepared meals I've had in a long time. I had a garden salad which was ridiculously good for a salad, a locally caught Queen snapper dish, and then a chocolate mousse for dessert. I was initially a little worried about how brothy the snapper dish was, but it was actually fking delicious. It reminded me of a French inspired dish with its broth but with local ingredients. The service was excellent and the chef really knows what he's doing. The cooks prepared the meal perfectly. Had a glass of Puerto Rican rum to go with it. I just happened to stumble upon this restaurant because downtown Rincon was having some sort of block party and I didn't want to be mixed up in that drunkenness. I'm trying not to just go back to this restaurant everyday that I'm here visiting but it is tempting. I was definitely not expecting to find a restaurant this good in Rincon but glad I did. I've tried three Rincon restaurants since going here and not one of them compares.

Google
A most excellent dining experience last night ... fantastic service by Carlos and the the team. We enjoyed the roasted Brussels sprouts / vegetable dish, the pulpo, and the ceviche as shared tapas, along with excellent drinks, wine, and both the white chocolate mousse and the key lime crema catalana. The front porch is delightful on a warm evening. Remember ... use a spoon while enjoying ceviche to experience the wonderful marinate.

Google
Really wanted to love it here. Service was great, even outstanding. But the food was not. Appetizer was very good and it ended there. The catch of the day wasn't local and seemed to have been frozen as it was mushy and chewy. Desserts were strange- mousse that was more like store bought pudding, and a giant cold piece of pineapple with ice cream. Especially for the prices- would not recommend.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious meal. Our order: - Charcoaled Brussels sprouts - Foie gras on a bed of lentils - Gnocchi with duck prosciutto - Grilled octopus with black ink sorullito - Key lime crème brûlée. Nothing was short of great and the octopus and the key lime brûlée were the standouts. Chef came out at the end to chat as well, which is always appreciated and welcome.

Yelp
Incredible food and cocktails, the catch of the day was perfectly cooked and melt in your mouth. The steak had so much flavor and the wait staff were extremely friendly and helpful

Yelp
Great dinner spot with exceptional service. We enjoyed the Ceviche and fried Brussels for our appetizers. We also had the foie Gras and carrots. Key Lime creme brulee for dessert!

Yelp
What a wonderful place! 5 stars across the board!!! The chef is so creative. Come here if you are looking for incredible food. Really excellent, non pretentious, high end food. You leave feeling so satisfied. Amazing.

Yelp
Just amazing. Super accommodating and so nice!! Our server was amazing, so attentive. The drinks were perfect and the food is great. I don't agree that the portions are small and don't fill you up! The portions are perfect sized. The staff is friendly and timely. Perfect place for a group or a date.

Yelp
I wish I had better things to say about Estela. I'm still debating between 3 & 4 stars as I write this. PROS: -Love the farm to table concept, and rotating menus monthly. Freshest ingredients. -Full vegan menu option as well. -Elegantly prepared plates. -Decent cocktail menu. Full bar. 6/10. -Cute exterior. -Dessert was pleasant. Still too small. -Waiters are kind. CONS: -In order to feel full, you MUST order all 3 courses. Portions are TINY. -$40 for 3 scallops. 3 SCALLOPS. It wasn't even disclosed on the menu how many it comes with. -Indoor seating is VERY limited. You almost have to eat outside. -$47 for an average steak. Ours was ordered Medium. Came out more rare. -For a party of two to feel comfortably full, expect ~$200 bill. -The restaurant is cute, but does not match the prices or food. Not upscale enough for what they're charging. The bathrooms weren't even that nice.

Yelp
I was in PR for a work trip and our work colleagues told us about Estela. Granted, I've been in PR before and didn't really have any high standards. Estela is TOTALLY different from every other restaurant we've tried. We got in and out in 1 hour - which is practically a MIRACLE!!! Every other restaurant we've had dinner at takes about 3 hours to dine. But Estela? Efficient and GREAT service. Our servers kept checking up on us, asking if we needed anything else and were super quick to get anything we needed. Drinks + food came out fast and the timing of the meal was on point. Really loved my drink and we ordered some apps that were great. I did find my pork belly to be a bit on the salty side, but it was perfectly crispy and well cooked. Dessert wasn't as amazing as the food, but that's okay. This place would def. deserve a michelin star if they gave them in PR. The fast service alone makes this place a no brainer whenever I'm back in this area.

Yelp
So disappointing This is our third time there over the past five years And it has steadily declined The first time it was wonderful Everything about it was delicious and lovely , you could tell the chef was enthusiastic and that it was personal. The room inside was welcoming and comfortable and outside was lovely. The second time the food was just ok . The food seemed a little confused and lacking in substenance. Just trying too hard. This time , as in this evening , it was terrible. First of all the room inside now looks like a cafeteria , the tables are bare and there you are sitting on a wood seat with a straight back which is very uncomfortable. Already by the descriptions of the items on the menu , you could tell there was some trying way too hard and confusion. Then we were given utensils wrapped in a paper napkin! I mean this is suppose to be one of the more upscale restaurants in town. We had the pea hummus and carrot terrine with chips , that pea hummus was not fresh you could tell just by the color and it had no real taste I make a much better one at home for sure and o am not one to say that ever! The carrot terrine was also so bland I had to salt it like crazy to give it some flavor and the chips were lacking any of that salty yummyness of what a chip is. We also had the ceviche which was a real let down. It had no citrus freshness to it at all . The hominy kernels were such a weird texture with the fish and there was so much of the leche de Tigre ,the whole thing was so odd and frankly the worst ceviche I have ever had. Then we had the tuna dish which was as my partner said the worst tuna dish he has ever had ! Raw cubes of tuna with a spicy dressing and again those hominy kernels , the whole dish was just trying so hard to be pretty it forgot to actually be good. We also had the catch of the day . Grilled snapper with purple potatoes and beurre blanc . Way way overcooked fish and the potatoes were flourerly , if u serve plain boiled potatoes with fish that's not the kind of potato you use , it looks pretty but it's dry very dry. So basically overcooked fish with my partner ate because I could not keep eating chewy dry fish because he had a hard time swallowing the tuna We gave them A chance for dessert The ricotta goat cheese thing with papaya in broth also a miss. The goat cheese totally overcomes the ricotta and it basically taste and it has the texture of goat cheese and the papaya has no taste and the Beth makes no Sense. We also had the key lime crème brûlée. Which was good but but not at all a crème brûlée . A crème brûlée is silky and subtle and delicate , this was cheesecake with a non descriptive mushy crust. The best thing was the cappuccino and the cocktail. I really hope that this review with get the chefs attention and bring his palate and heart back in the kitchen . And give some life to that indoor room and the you want to leave the minute you walk in.

Yelp
We are in Rincón, Puerto Rico for vacation. We heard the estela was "must try" while in town. And we are thrilled we were able to have the experience! Everything from their perfectly crafted cocktails, delicious entrees, and beautiful artwork for dessert was so memorable!! We will definitely be back when we visit again! Thank you so creating such an experience!!

Yelp
Every part of the meal at Estela was impeccable. Estela is the best restaurant we tried Puerto Rico by far. Each bite was an adventure, every element was perfectly balanced between sweet, savory, salty, rich and fresh. I highly recommend the meat loaf if it is available; the duck was divine as well. The desserts were adventurous and mind blowing -- tobacco ice with cream! I've never had anything like it. The one area of improvement would be service -- for such a fine dining establishment, there was a bit of finesse lacking in the service. But it overall didn't detract from the meal.

Yelp
This is the most amazing meal I've had in a really long time. Every bite was delicious and meticulously prepared. We made reservations a month before and I'm so glad we did!

Yelp
Foody heaven. Inspired service. Mixologist behind the bar. Truelly exuizite meal. Pastry chief for your enjoyment . Wow

Yelp
10000000/10 this place was amazing. Besides not being able to find it at first, but with the help of their hostess helping through texts we finally made it and everything was so delicious. Between the smoked hay scallops, drinks, our meals, and the key lime pie brûlée!!!! And our waitress who was so friendly, kind, and helpful! Please do yourself a favor and go here.

Yelp
Such a great dining experience. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of all dishes in explaining ingredients and preparation (lamb and duck). Everything we had was wonderful in flavor. We tried the lamb, the duck, the tuna tartar, steak for the kids, pork tenderloin, sweet plantain gnocchi, brussel sprouts, and dessert! Such a fulfilling meal. Make a reservation in advanced and enjoy.

Olybells B.

Yelp
We had a lovely evening at Estela. The service is excellent. The bartender is an artist. All of our drinks were delicious and came to the table beautifully presented. Our appetizers were divine. Salmon Tartare and Tuna ceviche were both delicious. The entrees were good but a bit overpriced for what you got. We had one of each of the three desserts. The key lime brûlée was the clear winner. Overall is was a 4/5 but be forwarded that it is not an inexpensive evening!!

Yelp
During our trip to Puerto Rico, we ate at this little, classy hideaway in Rincón. We drove through some heavy foliage which was beautiful, and ended up at this ultra cool spot. It's a tiny restaurant with gorgeous mosaic tiles on the building and inside a wave of blue tile and wooden tables remind my of the sky and sand. A festive bar swelled in the corner serving up delicious cocktails and wine. The ambiance was sultry and romantic, even with the metal chairs...and the scent of garlic and ginger hung in the air. The red wine we ordered was superb and went well with our dishes... we had the lamb croquettes for appetizers, the arugula salad, the spaghetti carbonara and the pork tenderloin...the croquettes were mild and crispy; the salad was highlighted with fried goat cheese, walnuts and beet vinaigrette; the pasta was laced with the most delicious pancetta; and the meat was tender and herbilicious! The service was beyond attentive and polite and the server helped us choose our perfect meal! If you get a chance to visit, don't miss it!

Yelp
Had an amazing dinner On december 2020; and estela might be my new favorite dinner spot. We had great wine; the appetizers were outstanding as well as the main dishes, our server was a delight and the dessert was to die for. It is easily accessible, parking is available and its very clean. Could come back in a heartbeat! Cheers!

Yelp
Overpriced and underwhelming. Our worst meal in Rincon. We had ribeyes steaks which were not good at all. Undercooked and no flavor. Tasted gamey. Mentioned to waiter but he made no accommodations. Drinks were good. Apps were decent. 45 mins from seating to exit. Expected expected better for a $200 night out.

Yelp
We recently had dinner at Estela's as recommended by numerous people. Lorraine was very knowledgable about each plate and we really enjoyed the Pork loin and salmon along with the key lime pie at the end. However, the shrimp appetizer was pretty bad and the texture resemble eating sand which we let her know. Lorraine compensated by giving us a free glass of wine which was a nice gesture. The restaurant for what is charging should have a better entrance so if it rains like it did the day we went, you don't have to jump through puddles or get your feet in them. The inside dining area is bare to the minimum, quite depressing which reminded me of a hospital cafeteria. And, although we asked for inside sitting, once we saw what it looked like we rushed to sit outside. The parking is not well lit and is not a flat surface to walk so in a rainy/windy night anyone can easily fall. The restaurant definitely needs some TLC to make it feel warm. A little investment in some plants, wall paintings and fix the entrance with some gravel and stepping stones, lit parking even if they are string lights would be a reason to change the review. But based on what we got and what they charge, it is definitely overpriced and not a pretty site.

Yelp
They are at the top of their game following COVID protocol. The service was spot on, very attentive and the recommendations and guidance from our server was greatly appreciated. Once our appetizers were served the chef came out to check on us.
google avatar

Yelp
A very Luke warm soup with no discernible flavor. They called it potato leek with shavings of truffle sawdust. My friends had a fish that was over cooked and tasteless.
google avatar

Kerry C.

Yelp
This was our special dinner out while visiting Rincon and it could not have been better. Every dish we tried was truly excellent. I had hoped for local fish to be on the menu but there wasn't. Be sure to have the Brussels sprouts, pork belly and scallops. Oh, and the key lime dessert rocked my husband's world! Service is accommodating and attentive without being annoying.

David C.

Yelp
We had seen Estela on a few restaurant lists and looked good, some friends had told us that the food was okay but we decided to try it out. I should have listened to my friends. We ordered the following: Appetizers: Pan-Fried Brussels Sprouts and the Plantain Gnocchi. Both plates were good, nothing special. I will say they were good portions to share. Drinks: Moscow Mule, which was good. Main Course: Pork Belly - this was not good. The mash was very salty and the pork was not great. I expected more from this plate. Dessert: Cana, tabaco y Ron. We were going to go with the key lime pie but we wanted to try something different. The dessert was not good at all, we basically left most of it. Our server was very nice and patient. We did mention to her about the dessert and she was willing to let us try something else. Overall, service was good but the food was average and pricey.

Yelp
Don't come here without a reservation. Food looked good but didn't stay because the indoor ambience was so-so.

Yelp
Great food and service. This restaurant exceeded my expectations, I had one of the best experiences of my life in a restaurant, the waiter was very respondent and very kind. The food was one of the greatest foods I have ever eaten and I had to close my eyes to truly appreciate it . Now the best thing in the restaurant the dessert, the dessert was the best dessert I have ever eaten in my life and it was full of flavor. The first dessert we ate was the chocolate mousse in tres leche sauce and let me tell you it was one of the greatest mousses I have ever eaten, the next thing we ate was the Key lime pie brûlée and that was the best thing we ate that night and let me tell you I would come back just for the dessert.

Mar S.

Yelp
The owner Abel Mendoza will tell you the same phony joke every time. It's irritaring and it goes like this: if the food was good I it if it wasn't we will look for who cooked it. THE joke speaks volumes First is - lack of responsibility Because if he has only bad cooks in the kitchen it's very unprofessional. Second is - He's trying to take credit for other talented cooks while every time I've been there I've only seen him outside being arrogant to customers trying to look sophisticated smoking cigarettes. The pineapple custard is canned pineapple. I do not recommend this place. The staff run around like they need to meet certain standards / tip$ by the end of the night.

Yelp
The Universe has spoken..."Estela is culinary Nirvana." After enjoying dinner at another awesome Rincòn restaurant, our car was parked away from the beach house we were renting and so we took a roundabout return. Halfway back, from the dark recess of the curvy road shone an ethereal blue light... we slowed to see it was the back lit glow of Restaurant Estela's outside bar. We turned around to get a closer inspection. Intrigued, a quick online search produced an extraordinary menu with a great vegetarian offering. Made a reservation for the next evening. Kenneth graciously greeted us and offered us a corner patio table. Dorcas enthusiastically guided us through the food and cocktail menus. We watched bartender Joshua craft our drink selections with a surgeon's precision and then present them like a proud father releasing his offspring into the world. The following parade of appetizers, entrees and dessert entertained and fascinated our eyes and tastebuds. The flavor complexities and pristine presentations are too difficult to realistically convey... but I will say, the sugar cane, tobacco-infused, custard-like dessert was beyond this realm. We reluctantly left Estela and its awesome energy and staff, but took with us an evening that will long be remembered and cherished. Muchas gracias!

Yelp
Went to celebrate our 3 year anniversary and called to make a reservation which i highly reccommend. Although, they didn't say anything to us about our anniversary even though I mentioned it over the phone. Food was very good! Drinks were incredible and service was good too. The only issue we had was that the rice with the duck was extremely salty so we just boxed the food to go. Also, it was really nice seeing the chef checking on tables. Overall, it was a good meal.

Ruby L.

Yelp
Wonderful dining experience!!! Had the local lamb in a 'vaca frita' manner with roasted bbq eggplant with piquillo de gallo and fried quinoa Ate every bit of it and wanted more! Service is excellent Would definitely go back here again

Yelp
Estela's is an amazing hidden gem!! Our friends recommended this place for a nice date night dinner. My boyfriend and I tried placing a reservation after 4 and online it stated they don't take reservations after 4PM. However, we called and they had several times available and managed to reserve a spot for us. The drinks were amazing, GREAT flavor and packed a light punch. As an appetizer I got the roasted brussel sprouts in sweet chili sauce and it was so flavorful. The spice was really there but it was delicious. As an entree I ordered the roasted eggplant which was very delicious, the rice had a hit of what tasted like spinach/cilantro infusion. Finally, for dessert my boyfriend and I split the tres leches broth and oh my it was the BEST. The highlight of all this is even with 2 drinks, an appetizer, entree, and dessert I was full but not in a food coma. The food was fresh, delicious and light. Also, shoutout to our waitress Jasmine who provided stellar service!!

Yelp
This is it!!!! A mouth full of flavor-able delicious cuisine. The chef took the time to come to our table and present his delicious creations.

Yelp
I wanted to take a group of really good friends (family, really) out for dinner and decided on this little Rincon restaurant. We ordered an assortment of plates; I ordered the pork loins and a friend the sirloin with the intention to share both. The pork loin was really good, though the portion size was a bit on the small side. It came topped with a delicious combination of chopped somethings (sorry, can't remember what it was), set of a hard plantain waffer... yummy! The sirloin came with spicy brussels sprouts and a sweet plantain sauce (the star of the night, IMO), also very good. For dessert I had a cheese/guava pastry topped with a gelato like cold paste... I had two! :-) Service was outstanding. Our server, Loren, was always ready to refill our glasses, and she gave a very impresssive 15 minute long menu description... by memory! The other members of the staff were always stopping by to check on us; all very courteous, very affable. The restaurant is located on the inside of a curvy part of the road, so getting in/out of their parking lot might be difficult during high traffic moments, but we had bo problems. The location gives the restaurant a bit of an "in the middle of the jungle" vibe which only seems to enhanced it's ambiance. I am giving it 4, and not 5 stars, because the A/C was struggling a little bit to keep the interior cool (I hate warm weather!), but I am probably being to picky, nobody else in my party had any issues with the temperature. I am definitively coming back with my famiky next time we are in PR.

Yelp
Estela was fantastic, a nice change of pace from traditional island food. The service was excellent, the chef came out to check on us. The ambiance was intimate, cute with eclectic decor. I would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
Hands down, my favorite restaurant in all of Puerto Rico! My husband and I had been traveling around the main island (as well as Vieques and Culebra), finding it difficult to find a decent meal. By the time we sat down here, we had given up on pleasing our tastes buds. Boy, were we blown out of the water! Everything, I mean EVERYTHING, that we ordered was delicious. My husband got the spicy margarita, and I got to kombucha-rita...also the best tasting drinks we've had during our stay. The Brussel sprouts appetizer was cooked to perfection with Brussel sprouts that were just soft enough, carrots that weren't overcooked, and potatoes that were nice and crispy. I normally don't like to order pumpkin soup for fear of it being too sweet, but the chef makes this soup full of savory flavor, even with the cinnamon topping. The Arroz Peruano entree is a lime cilantro rice paired with a mushroom ragout that would satisfy even the most stubborn meat eater with this dish's filling umami flavor. The Sorullito entree is probably my favorite item of the night. It is unlike any dish I've ever had before, combining oyster mushrooms, polenta, and a tomato sauce that is reminiscent of pizza sauce. All the textures and flavors this restaurant offers are well deserving of 5 stars. If I could, I would give this place 6 stars for the vegan menu!
google avatar

Michele S.

Yelp
Amazing. I left it up to the chef for their choice for a vegan meal. Was not disappointed! Cilantro farro and mushrooms in a red wine sauce. So delicious.
google avatar

Niniane W.

Yelp
This restaurant deserves a Michelin star. The duck was divine. So was the salted cod appetizer. The key lime pie brulee is creative. Lentils were also good. The service is attentive. In every way, you feel that you are experiencing superb mastery.
google avatar

Andreea W.

Yelp
Delicioso!! Soup, salad, fish, amazing flavors. A fine dining experience in Rincon. Chef brings your dinner, a nice touch. And the outdoor bar is super.

Anthony L.

Yelp
I gave this place a qualified 5-star review back in April--the qualification being that they needed to invest in ambience. Well, they've done that. This place looks and feels amazing, both inside the dining room and outside on the deck. The food and drinks are exquisite, and the staff are friendly and attentive. I had written in my previous review that I wouldn't want to take a business associate there, or celebrate an occasion there, due to the absence of ambience. Well, I'm completely reversing my position on that--Estela is now my go-to place when I want to celebrate or impress someone. It is truly one of the island's best.
google avatar

Jeanne M.

Yelp
Happened upon their fundraiser for dogs of Puerto Rico. Delicious food prepared by chef Juan and chef Brown. My sweetie had salmon on a bed of lentils--fab! I had tuna tartare and greens with fried goat cheese balls--yum! Dessert was luscious key lime pie. Refreshing fresh squeezed lemonade quenched our thirst. Excellent service and the chefs came out to greet us.

Yelp
Superb cuisine with stellar customer service. The waiter Carlitos was very informative and professional.A must go to when in town.Cuisine is well thought out and it shows in the food.A must when in it the area.

Sheila O.

Yelp
We've tried to visit three times. Timely reservations are a must! This time we made it. @ The experience.... The steak of the day... Filet Mignon "bistec Encebollado" and Yautia was perfection! Unique Margarita... natural lime juice and jalapeño (PuntaRica is called)... "picosita pero baja suave"... highly recommended spot! Dessert? Oh Lord!!! That key lime pie brûlée and the local cacao frozen mousse... is going to heaven and coming back again ... Unique setting... very island flow like... the roosters crowing in the background, the green surrounding you and the amazing flow of the local team in charge! The real island vibe accompanied by the yumminess of an awesome culinary experience in a beautiful "corner/rincon" of the island!

Yelp
We tried to get in at another restaurant tonight but it was too busy so we went with our second choice. We were very happy with our choice. Although the driveway and parking is 4 wheel drive accessible only, somehow other cars made it in no problem. The ambiance was sort of art museum meets diner with original paintings and modern diner furniture. We were seated quickly and given menus as the specials were presented. I dont drink so I especially liked that they offered blended fruit concoctions that were bottled. The waiter presented the drink almost like a bottle of fine wine.We split a house salad which came in a bowl with a dotted line down the middle....you know so you could divide it? Loved it. Our entrees came together and were cooked to perfection. We had both ordered off the specials menu and I noticed that there were no prices. The final tab was about $100 for two people with no alcohol or desert so its toward the top end of Rincon dining price wise. All in all it was a good experience and I would recommend it for a special occasion or your last night here if you are visiting as we were.
google avatar

Hilary P.

Yelp
The food was amazing. Perfect flavors combined to make our Christmas dinner special. The duck was cooked to perfection and we tried the key lime tart as well as the spice cake ice cream sandwich. Both were delicious. We also had a wonderful conversation with the chef who has led a fantastic gastronomic journey during his career. I would highly recommend this upscale restaurant for a very special meal while visiting Rincon.

Yelp
What a fabulous hidden gem here in Rincón. Although there are no ocean views at this intimate little house just outside of town, the service and food are not to be missed. The duck breast entree was absolutely delicious, presented beautifully on a square wooden board. The special homemade sausage appetizer was recommended by Elliot and was incredibly flavorful. Don't leave Rincón without a stop here!

Yelp
Best meal we've had in the Rincon area. Thoughtful and creative use of local ingredients. I had the Mahi Mahi and it melted in my mouth. Perfect sear on it. Served over a white bean and a sort of potatoe-like vegetable stew. Wonderful and very filling. My wife had the roasted duck. She's very picky and she ate every bite! The accompanying rice dish had a perfect seasoning to accompany and not overpower the duck. You'll spend a bit more than at a lot of other restaurants in the area, but the quality you'll receive will be more than worth it. Elliot waited on us and he was so much fun. Explained all the dishes and made it a point to explain why each one was unique and what made it so. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Amazingly cooked fish. 2 mil thick crust around the full fish and perfectly moist and cooked throughout the filet. The warm quinoa salad underneath was no joke either.

Yelp
Really nice experience here. Apparently they've recently reopened with a new chef, they are getting it right for sure. The food was outstanding--perfectly cooked fish, and the pork came on a wonderful deconstructed alcapurria that was really something special. Cocktails were great and they are making the most of a tough space in terms of ambiance. Service was excellent although the relentless attention to flatware changes didn't quite pair with the paper napkins (A for effort though!). Definitely check it out if you want a nice meal in Rincon. Call for reservations--there are only a dozen or so tables.

Yelp
Cocktails, food and dessert a delicious experience!! Service was excellent. Our server was a young man and his descriptions of every plate on the menu was in itself a sensory experience.

Yelp
Best restaurant we went to in our week of travels! The one restaurant we would come back to again and again. You're going to throw down $ but it's worth every penny. From the service to the food to decor. We cannot wait to come back!! Thank you for everything!! Until next time, Jen & Beau
