Day 2 at the resort. The rooms are very nice and modern with excellent beds. The check-in was efficient except that they forgot to give us our black wrist bands so we were turned away at the poolside. Had to go back and do a mini second check in. Wasted some time but not bad. It’s on a nice lake. The spa/pool area is well laid out. But the biggest issue which is unfortunately is that 1) there are not enough chairs, so it’s a fight for chairs, people leave their towels all day even if the chairs are not used 2) not enough shaded area. For the life of me, I can’t understand why they have not figured this out. Let me help: put more long chairs. Done. Too bad. It’s an easy fix. Trying to rest on vacation and instead we’re annoyed with the basics. Otherwise, it’s a nice hotel.

Absolutely loved this place.. made a detour on our Canadian road trip as needed a few days to relax and kick back.. |well what a find, deal on booking.com, cheeky lake view suite with a massive queen bed and looked after like kings. |Dip in the lake (being from the uk no discarded shopping trolleys to avoid) 😂😂. Lovely swims in tepid lake water, clear bad crisp. Great pools, nice frozen cocktails and nightly dips in the hot tubs under the starry skies.. The whole family loved it and it was a sad time at check out.|The only thing I will say is make sure you take some of your own drinks as the pool bar closes early and when your loving life ok the tubby a later night margarita would have been lovely.. |but a few cans of Molson did the trick..|Everything well priced and the wife had a lovely massage and the kids loved the paddle boards. Banter with the pool bar staff was good as well. |Definitely on the list for a winter trip as well. But I must say the 29 degree heat did the trick for us. Summer loving & summer funning..

We had a wonderful stay at Estérel Resort with our two boys (ages 5 and 1). The resort offers a fantastic range of activities for all ages, including K1/K2 rides, paddleboarding, electric boats, volleyball, live music and archery. All around the property, you’ll find inviting spots to relax—modern fire pits (including some in the center of the spa pools at night), hammocks, lounge chairs (though not quite enough for every guest), day beds, and swings. The full spa is a major highlight, with both adult/quiet-only pools and family-friendly areas. Twice a day, the resort offers 50% off drinks, and with several restaurants to choose from, there’s something for every taste. The buffet breakfast package is not worth the steep cost. Our accommodations were nice: a cozy king-size bed, a convertible sofa bed, and a pack-and-play for our youngest. The staff were friendly, responsive, and easy to reach via phone or text. They even had our room ready early, which was a huge help with kids in tow. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, with tasteful music at a comfortable volume and pleasant guests all around. The lake was beautiful, and while we enjoyed it, adding more sand would make the beach feel softer and more inviting. Between the lake and pool areas, the thoughtful addition of a leg/foot water mister kept things clean and refreshing between activities. Overall, Estérel Resort gave us a relaxing, fun, and memorable family getaway.

The resort is located around 90 mins to the Airport (YUL). I feel there 's nothing more to do in the town. |Staff is really professional, kind and they are always at disposition.|Gym is tiny and basic, only for 4-5 people at most at the same time. |The resort is very walk-able and and you can take walks if you want.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Estérel Resort is absolutely beautiful – the views are stunning, the rooms are clean and modern, and the amenities are fantastic. We really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and all the activities available. The only downside was the check-in/check-out policy – check-in at 4 PM i felt a bit short for such a lovely stay. Other than that, everything was excellent, and I would definitely recommend it!

Before making a reservation I called to ask about the room and the privacy.. I was told by the reservations department that the room with spa and garden view was private and no people go around.. you can see by the pictures that you could see the neighbours spa and the main road is right across from my so called « private garden view».. The room was nice and spacious BUT the bed has 4 big full same size pillows, it should be 2 types of pillows so we could choose the ones more convenient for us, we found hair on the plate compartment, had crumbs on the couch and on the black center table that we put it on the floor and there it was till we left. I used the bathtub and was not able to empty it after use so the next day before housekeeping would clean the room I mentioned in the reception and by the end of the day the room was « clean » not vacuumed because crumbs were still on the floor and the bathtub was still full.. so maintenance had to come to the room and fix the bathtub plug, also about the Tv is not a smart tv that’s also a negative point for the price range of the room you should have updated already so we can connect our apps. Around 9pm Friday workers were emptying the glass bottles in the big garbage bin so it made a lot of noise! Now the famous bathrobes, as a 33 weeks pregnant woman the 4 robes in the room didn’t fit me so I ask in the reception and they recognize the issue saying it’s a ONE SIZE ONLY ( so people more curvy or overweight can’t use robes) now my question is, 4 star hotel with a one size bathrobe and they are so thin and cheap, please don’t tell me is a complimentary to have robes in the room.. every 3 star hotel in Montreal has robes the ones like towels that really dry your body.. and you pay 100$ per night not 500$. The pool don’t have much shades and that could be an easy fix! The pool bar menu was very good so was the breakfast (a bit pricey 90$ for 2) The lake view is stunning during breakfast.. For the spa in the room you can use till 11pm but no light bulls outside so you need to leave the curtain open so you have a source of light outside! The spa by the pool both nights a LOT of noise with kids running around wondering if could be there more workers present to maintain the supposedly quiet and spa ambience… So for 1300$ plus for 2 nights definitely expensive

Google
Pricey on Fridays and Saturdays but honestly so worth it. Get there early to advantage of the pools and beach while there is fewer people (9-10 am). Pay a little extra for the lake view - I’ve been in the summer and during the winter and they’re both so worth it. Nice and peaceful. The restaurant was amazing and actually fairly priced. Staff was great.

Had a wonderful stay. Staff were super friendly and accommodating from the get go. Had a minor issue with the coffee machine in the room not working properly. Went to front desk right around 11 pm to ask what they could do in the morning for us. They immediately jumped into action to rectify the problem and brought us a replacement machine within minutes. Incredible service despite being that late at night. Had supper at the voilier resto. All I can say is wow... Had the table d'hôte and boy was it amazing. The portions... plentiful. The flavours... Exquisite And our waiter, William, was amazing. Super attentive, knowledgeable on the meals and catered to us with white gloves. 5 star stay, 5 star supper 5 star waiter.

Yelp
Always love coming here. I've had some pretty great memories from dancing to electric eel in the hot tubs at night to tanning by the pool with nothing but sunshine in sight. I'm in love with the fire pit in the middle of the pool it's my fav part and I'm guessing everyone as well. Only thing that sucks is usually one is out of service on our last trip two were down but we still had 2 open. Rooms are great ! Huge bed with sliding wall beside the bath tub so you can watch the tv from the tub or just have a conversation with someone lol. The double sided fireplace is great really sets the mood. Great kitchen so bring your own food depending how many days you're staying.

Yelp
Exactly a year after my last stay, my boyfriend and I spoiled ourselves to another early Christmas treat. This time we spent 3 nights on the Evolution side of the resort which is marketed as more family friendly due to the extra queen murphy bed and closed bathroom. (All bathrooms on the other side of the hotel have a sliding door near the bath so it opens to your bedroom for a romantic soak). We stayed in room 1204 which is on the ground floor facing the front of the hotel (not the lake) and also had our private hot tub. As with both hotels sides, many of the ground floor rooms come with private spas so I strongly recommend this option if you want the privacy and freedom of using it whenever you please. This time we did try the exterior spas as well and loved the experience. I didn't realise that there are little gas fireplaces in the middle of each spa so it's a great sight at night. The rooms on the Evolution side are beautiful, decorated in tones of turquoise and grey, they look a little more modern compared to the Emotion side which has a lot of orange and fall foliage colors. Although we did not have the option of a panoramic suite as per our last visit, all rooms are very spacious at around 600sqt. I will tell you though that the panoramic windows do make a huge difference in terms of bringing in light as you are surrounded in 3 walls of floor to ceiling glass. We stayed in our rooms alot and I'm someone who loves to read so I was missing the natural sunlight and found that I had to turn on the lamps even during the day. The balconies above us also block a little of the light, so that may be something to consider if you love bright open spaces- try a corner panoramic room instead. Our mini kitchenette did not have a stove top compared to our panoramic suite, I was not aware of this as I was planning on cooking. You do still however have a toaster oven, microwave, electric kettle, mini fridge and sink. We weren't huge fans of the food at the restaurants, so it's great advantage to be able to eat in your room. The bed was very comfortable, just the right amount of firmness and plushness, the bathroom is super spacious and housecleaning did a great job of stopping by everyday to replenish our towels and supplies. Unlike my previous stay, I did not have any issues with the sink or toilet blockage and everything looked very well maintained. I feel confident saying that no matter which room you choose it'll be well worth it, I can see myself coming to Esterel every year, it's just like having your own luxurious cottage away from home up north. There are many winter packages and promotions during this time of year, it's the perfect gift and sure to please yourself or your loved ones. Come on the weekdays if you can, cheaper and much quieter. You will have all the facilities to yourself.

Yelp
Have visited this hotel/resort in the past and was very impressed. Unfortunately, it's not longer the case. First of all, it became obvious that this establishment is understaffed. Check in was very slow and we had to wait for approximately 30 minutes until it was our turn to be served. Although check-in time is 4pm, we arrived at 4:45 only to be told our room was still not ready. After complaining and asking for something to be done, we were given a different room that was ready. The room was the last room on the top floor. Great view, I must admit but the corner room made it so that the layout was not what we expected based on the photographs on the website. Room seemed smaller than the other rooms due to the corner setup. When we arrived to our room, there was a large pile of dirty towels and bedsheets just outside our room. This pile was accompanied by a used soup bowl that still has some leftover soup. Since it was after 4pm, I would have expected all this to have been cleaned up. Not impressed so far but ok, these things happen. Room was nice but had a few small elements that were irritating. 1) couch had a large portion of the facade missing 2) a small pinhole leak on the bathroom faucet spout kept wetting the counter and floor, 3) there are two televisions in the room, which is cool; but when you try to turn the bedroom TV on or off or control the volume and channels, it also turns on and off the second television in the living room area. Seriously? It's 2021, this doesn't have to be a problem. The next morning, the pile of dirty towels and bedsheets were still there, always accompanied by the lonely soup bowl. I finally went down to reception around noon time and made a complaint about the pile of towels/bedsheets. The employee immediately picked up a phone and telephone someone demanding that it be picked up. Unfortunately, the pile was still there when we left for dinner at around 7pm. It was finally takes care of before we came back from dinner. That means for at least 15 hours, they allowed a large pile of dirty bedsheets and towels sit outside guests rooms. What about the soup bowl you ask? It was still there!!!! It finally was picked up the following morning. That means that the soup bowl sat there from our check-in to just about an hour before we checked out. And we were there for two nights. This is supposed to be a high end resort. They charge a high-end price for a product that I feel is mediocre at best. Not sure that I'll be going back.

Yelp
Pleasant location. But in need of being updated and upgraded. Room's aren't large and staff have an attitude especially towards anglophones. The food is average. They charge additional fees for items that were supposed to be part of the weekend package. I find that very petty and demeaning. Facilities were just ok nothing special. The view from the dining hall is nice but faces the wrong direction as the sun sets in the opposite direction. I hope this is of help to you all! ;)

Yelp
The room smelled like cigarettes when we got there. We complained and they offered to send " push push ". Not the kind of service you would expect when paying premium. We visited the restaurant called le rok. The food was very good but portions were small. The Side of shrimp came as two shrimps for 18$. I find this to be very expensive. The desert was terrible. The spa area was nice but isn't as fancy as some other resorts. All in all it was a nice experience but for the price I wouldn't go back.

Yelp
The company I work for had our sales conference Monday to today ... it was held at the Estérel Resort which is about 1.5 hours NE of Montreal. There are about 60 of us from across Canada. Alas, because our days were jammed packed because of the conference, I didn't have time to enjoy the spa or check out the grounds. Here's my room ... it was very nice! The kitchen was stocked. The bathroom was huge! The tub was big and deep and I soaked in it both nights with bubble bath. I wasn't crazy about the food (except for Monday night). When we arrived on Monday evening, many of us were hungry so we had a late supper at the bistro on site. I was hungry and ordered beef ribs and potatoes au gratin. You can imagine my (and everyone else's) wonderment when they arrived. Though the potatoes were barely warm, the ribs were delicious and there was more than enough to share! The rest of our meals weren't great. Our lunches were buffet in one of the restaurants. There was a pasta selection both days which I found kind of cold and hard (so sitting out too long). There was a fish selection both days (a white fish yesterday and salmon today) ... I'm not a fish lover so didn't try them. Yesterday's meat choice was beef with a weird texture and chewy. Today's meat was some kind of game (venison maybe?) sausage which I passed on. Supper last night was served to us in one of the boardroom and there were a couple courses ... rabbit and apple on a big spoon (I passed), mushrooms on a puff pastry (I passed), a small pork roast on pancetta with veggies (I ate the pork and it was okay) and a chocolate dessert square (which was okay). It seemed like a fun place to spend some time regardless of the season.

Yelp
My husband surprised me with a getaway to Esterel Resort. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly front desk agent. We were advised our room was ready and given our room keys, however when we got to our room, the cleaning staff had only just begun cleaning our room. We had to roam the hotel for 40 minutes until we were able to access our room. The room was clean and everything was ok on that front. It was a little surprising though that there is no in-room safe and the television is not a smart TV.   The weather wasn't optimal during our stay, we opted to stay cozy in our room with the fireplace and were a little disappointed that we only had access to cable... in 2022 we would expect a TV that is capable to connect to the internet. We had reserved the Coocooning package but were not explained how it worked or what it included or how to claim it. Due to that oversight, we were advised by another friendly front-desk agent that we would be reimbursed the amount- yet the charge was not credited to our account. We dined one night at a restaurant in the hotel- Chaise 58. The food was just ok. Definitely overpriced for the quality and presentation. We paid the same amount as when we went to a small restaurant off the resort (La Belle Histoire) and I have to say, their food, wine list and service was light years ahead. There were no towels at the spa. We had to go back up to our rooms and get our own room towels. Furthermore, housekeeping did not come to our room to change the towels and bathrobes (or even make the bed). Again, we were advised that we had to SPECIFICALLY ASK for this service. To me, that doesn't make sense- we use the spa facilities and we need to tell you that our robes are wet and would like dry ones? We also went to AMERISPA. Again, the service was good, but the prices... did you know that the spa prices rival the Ritz in Montreal? Overall, we enjoyed our time away from the city. Would we come back? Probably not. When all was said and done, we could have flown to Miami and stayed in a comparable quality hotel for just a little more money. When you charge 1400$ for 2 nights, the service and quality needs to be exceptional. What we got was just ok.

Yelp
One word to describe this hotel: AWFULZ. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. here are the reasons: fire place didn't work, had to call to get is fixed. AC doesn't work but when we called, they sent someone up to fix it. When he got here - he said "oh, the AC doesn't eork in the winter". Why wouldn't she have just said this to me on the phone instead of wasting my time and the TECHNICIANS? Who was, may I add, RUDE. There is no lighting in the room. There is 3 lamps and that is all. What is this shit? I payed 3 bills a night to get a horrible experience. I could of stayed home. Oh, one more thing - I asked for a glass of water and they said no. To take the ESKA for 7$. Instead. Horrible horrible Institution.

Yelp
For 2 years now, hubby's employers have their Christmas office diner/party at l'Estérel, which includes one night. This year, we decided to book the Friday as well and make it an adult weekend only! The rooms are very comfortable (beds and pillows too), having all that you may need, all renovated as a "suite" like. There is a small fridge and dishes and a microwave. You cannot cook a meal, but you may certainly heat something already prepared that you bought at the grocery store. We visited the hot/cold spa; which is a love of mine. I was a bit let down, lacking greatly in "relaxing" space inside. Maybe they are making a new room (there was construction)... I was certainly not impressed with the diner (over 300 people, so, i was not expecting much either), but their breakfast brunch were very good on both mornings. Its a beautiful place for sure, surrounding lake and mountains, but as for what to do during the day, there is nothing much to keep you around during the winter months.

Jess I.

Yelp
This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. The rooms were not ready for check-in time. They provided us a free drink pass at the pool bar but the security promptly came to tell us we could not be there without a bracelet (which we couldnt get because we could not do the check-in on time because of their fault). Everybody (with the exception of the pool bar staff and the manager at the restaurant) was extremely rude, in particular Lise at the reception desk. Spiders and leaky A/C units everywhere and garbage bags on the hallways throughout the whole day. We booked a room for four people and they advised that the rooms are set up for only 2 people (even if they are charging for 4) so we had to call several times to get through to reception to get towels for 4 people. Trying to get room service would default to a perennial busy tone so when we eventually managed to place an order for dinner in person, we were told the hostess forgot to put the order in. Dinner arrived late and sadly was extemely overpriced for such flavourless dishes. This place did not make us feel welcome. The only redeemable qualities are that lake view was pretty epic and the amenities are nice. If you decide to go after this review, make sure you bring your own condiments for the food, bug spray for the spiders and a lot of patience for the awful service you will receive.

Yelp
This review is after my second stay (first stay was three years ago) A very nice location. Beautiful scenery with the lake. Nice facilities with regards to spas, beach along with nice pools. However, the building itself seems to be maintained minimally with dirty windows and passable common areas state and cleanliness. There is definitely a sense that the operating management is lacking and that the resort is degrading with time. The restaurants are average with a relatively slow service and too-high pricing for the quality (at the Champlain notably). An important issue is with the training of the staff. They do not seem to have received courtesy training that most high-end resorts should offer. Bottom line: very nice location, maintenance could be improved, staff training could be improved, and pricing should be reviewed accordingly. Lacking operating management.

Yelp
We stayed here for 2 nights (from Friday to Sunday). The resort has 2 hotels, we stayed in hotel Émotion. There is nothing negative to say about this resort. ** We did not try any, but the hotel offers a lot of activities according to the season. We loved the fact that it's only an hour away from Montreal. We enjoyed spending time there as a couple, but both agree that our kids (1 & 5 years old) would like it too (we plan on going back with them). Decor : This place is beautiful both inside and out. Everything is very modern, but warm and welcoming. The rooms are very nice, clean, and the views are stunning. Outside, everything is spa oriented and peaceful. Accommodations : The rooms are very well designed. We stayed in one of the smaller suites and did not regret it one bit. It's an open space concept with sleeping, lounging and eating area ; as well as a kitchenette. THE BALCONIES are amazing. minimum 100sq ft with nice furniture. I would suggest you spend the extra couple of dollars and book a Lake View room. Spa : The hot baths, warm pools, steam rooms (etc) are an absolute must. We went when it was between -5 and 7 degrees outside, and were in no way affected by the cold. Enjoy! Amerispa : There is an Amerispa on site that offer various services. Book ahead. They seem to be quite busy. TAKE NOTE : they are pricey. I would STRONGLY SUGGEST you buy vouchers from WaySpa (.com) and take advantage of the fact that they are affiliates. Restaurant(s): L'ultime - AMAZING. Everything was absolutely delicious. We were truly blown away. Definitely take the 5 course Table D'Hote pricing (about 60$), it's worth it. We loved the tartars (cold appetizer), the veal filet mignon melts in your mouth and the deer was outstanding. The desserts will convert you. The chefs creation and the mi-cuit are aboslute musts. Bistro 260 - Very good bistro food. They have everything from pizzas to tartar (not cheap pizza). Nothing disappointed us. SUGGESTION : try the Esterel burger. Absolutely succulent. Bistro 260 is the menu you have in your room for room service. Staff : We were impressed by the professionalism of the staff. Everyone was very nice and fully bilingual. Calling for room service or for reception to bring you anything you need is a no-brainer. They were always quick and courteous. - Restaurant staff : Polite and knowledgeable. They suggest wines and explain their menus clearly.

Yelp
Probably one of the worst hotel I have been in. Only reason I give it 2 stars is because the lake was so insanely beautiful and the golfclub staff was real nice (but you can't rent graphit golfclubs, they only have the cheap ones for rental). We were there for a honeymoon, when we got in the bathroom was dirty (had been cleaned up so quickly there was sand in the bathtub). The staff can be very accomodating, but we needed to escalate anytime we were asking for something (e.g. we called to reserve to one of the restaurant, and were told it was full, however it is the resort restaurant and we were surprised it would be full during a week night. They ended up reserving us a table at 8:30, and the restaurant was pretty much empty). Food was ok for the price, wine selection was great. The front desk reception has nothing, no snacks or bottled water, so make sure you bring groceries before checking in. The front desk staff was not helpful at all. The spa is very dirty, the water is whitish, definitely does not look like the pictures on their website. The pool bar was not open and there is no service available to the pool so you have to bring your own drinks and food. Overall, the place is kind of relaxing, but it is by far not a luxury resort (I would pick a Hilton over this hotel in a heartbeat) and cleanliness was not great (which is a big deal breaker for me). Would not recommend.

Yelp
I stayed one night here in December, for a short weekend getaway with my girlfriend. Overall, the experience was extremely nice. The rooms are very spacious, very nicely furnished, with a luxurious bathroom and a gas fireplace. The fireplace is a such a nice thing to have on a cold winter day. The other great thing is the access to the spa with four massive hot tubs, a sauna and a hammam. We were almost alone when using the facilities and really enjoyed it. The only downside was regarding the many christmas parties that were happening at that time. The hotel was completely booked for companies and they took over the lobbies for cocktails and were generally loud guests. There was a party happening in the room adjacent to ours past midnight and the front desk did not pick up the phone for 20 minutes.

Yelp
This hotel is very outdated. I wouldn't come back unless they renovated the hotel. Service is good. However, we were very disappointed with our suite. There were spiderwebs in the dining area. Not impressed at all.

Yelp
Came for a romantic getaway from our little one for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. Unfortunately it definitely did not live up to the hype. First floor room without a view. The Rok restaurant was over priced and not worth it. Paid $40 for a steak that we had to hack up with a steak knife and cook ourselves on a hot rock. The only saving grace was the crab cakes and the Tom Collins. Would never recommend this to anyone as a getaway worth the price. We asked if something could be done for this special occasion and we received 6 mediocre chocolate bites. Value versus the price was not worth it. Not the worst place we have ever stayed at but have been to less expensive places with better experiences. Requested lake view but were given a barely visible golf course view due to the resort being booked up however the place was extremely quiet. Hard to believe that this place was at capacity.

Yelp
Bistro 260 is quite tacky. The food is OK, the service is OK, everything is just OK. We ended up here because Viking in Ste-Marguerite was closed. I have no intention on coming back. It's quite pricey and didn't wow me. If you're staying at the hotel, i guess you dont have much choice. I would have loved for them to have a cool bistro with yummy bistro favorites like a steak frites, onion soup etc. Plus, who serves a cold brownie with ice cream?! You put ice cream to cool the brownie, no?

Yelp
Had a wonderful overnight at Esterel Resort. We had a fabulous one bedroom with it's own hot tub overlooking the lake! Excellent experience with the 5 course meal in the main restaurant (Sal a Manger L'ultime) overlooking the frozen lake was great! You get a choice of soup or salad, then warm appetizer or cold. There are about 5 of each warm and 5 of each cold with some being extra. I had the soup (tomato) mushroom medley which was amazing! For the main course choices as Elk, Rabbit, Lamb, Beef, Chicken, Salmon, Halibut, Lobster have something to suit anyone! My choice was the Halibut. Again very good! My wife wasn't so impressed with the salmon. She thought it to be a bit bland. Her vegetables she thought were lacking flavour as well! For desert you have a choice of 5 or 6 different decadent choices. I ordered the duo creme brûlée! One was vanilla the other was coffee! She ordered some sort of rich chocolate cake/brownie with caramel! It was fantastic! This restaurant is a "1 glass" Wine Spectator recognized and has a very nice yet expensive list! Opus One 2007 for $700 a bottle? A tad gouging! Otherwise regular restaurant wine pricing! We went into the other restaurant (Rok) after where they were grilling meat on a hot stone! Interesting concept but quite the smell in the restaurant! Especially when you are cooking Halibut! They have three restaurant choices, so it really does suit the resort feel! L'esterel is fresh, modern in design and a very nice place to come if you would like a nice getaway or conference! Accommodations are new, modern and comfortable! Breakfast buffet was very plentiful in the morning! A vast selection of healthy and unhealthy! All in all quite satisfied!

Yelp
Good evening This would be my 5th visit and I must say things have been getting worst over time. For 250$/night here is my experience. The spa outside and facilities are nice, the problem was the room 1- half the lights don't work, at 9pm, called reception they said they would send someone. No one showed up, called again still no one came all day. We went to sleep. 2- 2 televisions in the room, cone doesn't work and other is burned from the heat below it. 3- no such room service to change towels or anything 4- coffee and tea machine were so dirty there was still pieces of food still stuck to them. 5- the water to drink had way way too much chlorine. 6- the room (probably from carpet) smelled so bad we had to keep windows open all the time. Look the place is good and 4/5 times our experience was good, this year they raised the price by 75$ only to make our experience worst. I guess cut corners, lower costs, maximize profits. Won't be back here again, not worth and many other competition. Good luck on your experiences

Yelp
Lousy customer service ; avoid at all cost - there's nothing breathtaking about the experience - you might just lose your breath dealing with incompetence. They took 150$ deposit from me and have yet to refund it 2 months later. 4 exchanges that had me dealing with immature and rude receptionists - a director that doesn't call back (I'm not the only one to say this by the way) . And honestly the place is not as nice as in the pictures. Stay elsewhere or rent a chalet you'll be much more at peace .

Yelp
Very nice resort! Amazing view to the lake and rooms are super clean. Spa is very pleasant and personals are very friendly. Just around 1:15 hour from Montreal... Strongly recommend it!

Yelp
We stayed here with our three kids and my mom. I highly recommend it - a great place. The Laurentians is one of the of the most beautiful landscapes on the planet - gently rolling hills, small lakes, scenic roads. We were here from very far away in the US, in winter, and it was well worth it. When we were there, this area north of Montreal was bright with snow, and from the hotel we saw broad vistas of the lake and trees covered in the fluffy stuff. The kids and us had a long list of winter sports to sample nearby: tubing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and of course there would have been downhill skiing and snowboarding if we had time. They also loved the outdoor pools of different temperatures that were trippy to use in sub-zero weather. The food is fantastic and we ate well at the breakfast buffet and the dinners, which we had in the less expensive of the three restaurant options. Both my meals there - one with grilled vegetables and the other of sausages - were sophisticated and yummy. The rooms are clean and comfortable and up to date, with great bathrooms and space to put your clothes, and a sofa to relax on in front of a fireplace. The hotel has two buildings and the one we stayed in is geared to couples in its somewhat goofy branding, but it was perfect for everybody, including my mom, who uses a wheelchair. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They accommodated our various requests and went out of their way to help us out with information or anything else we asked for. There is a definite contrast here between the Laurentians vs. the corporate boutique-hotel soundtrack in the lobby, with the Victoria's Secret videos playing behind the reception desk. These touches were put there to create a metropolitan, couples vibe, and I think for a lot of people this signifies "cool", but the natural beauty of the landscape outside and the friendliness of the staff comes through stronger, and is a better representation of what this part of the world is all about. In the nearby towns, there are plenty of tchatchke stores, that play up rustic Canadiana, or Quebec-iana, and the hotel could have played up the rustic or historical angle, and instead chose to go the Y2K metro-boutique-hotel route. The Y2K vibe would be distracting and get in the way, but these touches really end at the lobby and the rest of the hotel is just modern and comfortable. It was a great experience for us, and being from so far away made it all the more special, even exotic. I would recommend it to anyone, but especially visitors from far away who want to experience a very special part of Quebec and Canada.
