Estia Chiang Mai Hotel

We booked their superior room for 7 nights in October 2025 as a couple. Our room was cozy, but we felt the hygiene could be improved, as we found ants at many places. The staff was respectful and polite, but resistant to give extra towels. Also, we had to request to change the bedsheets, as it was not done in 4 days. The restaurant was small and the breakfast had only few options, but the complimentary water, coffee and hot chocolate drinks was a positive. The pool and street sitting areas were good for relaxing. The location was convenient to find all requirements at a walking distance. Overall it was a decent stay, but they could improve on few points to make the stays pleasant.

Estia Chiangmai Hotel is a charming and peaceful retreat within Chiang Mai’s Old City. Despite its quiet surroundings, it’s just a short walk to excellent restaurants, eateries, pubs, and the vibrant Sunday Night Market. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are genuinely friendly and always ready to assist. The staff by the name of Ms Ern deserves mentioning as she made the special effort to contact a nearby souvenir outlet to ensure we were able to retrieve our shopping bag which we accidentally left it there. Aside from this, the simple breakfast is good, and the all-day refillable drinking water is a thoughtful touch, especially in the warm weather. The cosy pool area adds to the hotel’s relaxing vibe. A couple of small improvements could make the stay even better — the water pressure in the queen room’s bathroom is a bit low, and the faucet could be adjusted to prevent splashing. Overall, a lovely stay offering great value, comfort, and warm hospitality in an excellent location.

Went to the Estia Chiang Mai last September and had a great stay! The hotel is super cozy, quiet and peaceful with all needed amenities and spacious rooms. The staff were honestly very nice, thoughtful, helpful and genuinely welcoming. The rooms were always super clean and well maintained. We were always looking forward to the breakfast which was simple yet excellent and always effective. One of the best feature of the hotel was its location -there are lots of things to do nearby, with markets, pubs, restaurants, temple nearby, all of them litterally 5 min walk away. Lets not forget their charming pool area with maximum privacy and lovely set up decoration. You could litterally forget that you are in a busy area there. Very value for money. Would definitely go back there anytime.

I have spent a lot of time in Chiang Mai over the years and Estia has now become my favourite hotel. The location is as central as it gets whilst being quiet, my room was spacious and met all my needs, it has a very nice pool, breakfast included and staff were friendly. They also provide drinking water to top up your bottles in addition to bottled water in your room which is something I really appreciate. There was nothing more I could ask for 😄

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location, with many popular tourist attractions within walking distance. The rooms were spacious and clean and we appreciated being able to store our luggage both before check-in and after check-out. The available laundry service was also a very nice. Breakfast was tasty and offered a good variety, but a few more options would make it even better.

The staff are super friendly, and it’s a really good hotel. When I was exhausted after traveling, I could check in early by paying a little extra. Normally check-in starts at 2 p.m., but sometimes you can pay 100 baht to check in 2 hours early, or 200 baht to check in 4 hours early. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Fantastic stay! The location is perfect—just a short walk to markets, cafes, restaurants, and shops, and only about 100 meters from the big Sunday Night Market. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always happy to book and organize attractions for us. The hotel is close to all the action but tucked away just enough to relax and unwind. Our room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows, and the outdoor areas were well-maintained too. Highly recommend for a convenient and comfortable stay in Chiang Mai!

We had a wonderful here at Estia. We were on our honeymoon and the staff decorated our room and gave us a lovely souvenir to keep. The breakfast was good with a large variety of foods. The lady in the kitchen made us a Mango sticky rice on the morning that we were leaving. The housekeeping staff made our room up and gave us fresh towels and water everyday. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you to all the staff.
