We had a pleasant stay here in this interesting a bode. Charles and Jo are very nice, helpful folks. She served us a sumptuous breakfast! Charles recommended a nearby swamp tour, which was interesting.|As is the case with many old houses, it has a bit of a musty smell, for those with sensitive noses. A few open windows would resolve that minor issue.

The Estorge-Norton House was a highlight of our trip to western Louisiana. The hosts provided excellent tips for things to do and helped us make some reservations (e.g., for a swamp tour). Our suite was comfortable with a large bed, two sitting chairs, a small TV, and a large private bathroom. You will be surrounded by hardwood features and original art. The guest suites have their own exit, and the house is within easy walking distance of the small, attractive downtown area. The breakfast was outstanding, with fresh fruit, a poached pear, small pancakes, bacon, eggs, etc. The hosts were careful to ask about any dietary restrictions. I highly recommend this bed & breakfast!

We stayed here the last three nights of our South Louisiana vacation and were very pleased. The Nortons are most knowledgeable about everything in and around New Iberia. They provided us with menus of numerous restaurants and brochures of many of the things to do and places to tour. The breakfasts were A+ and started with fresh fruits, coffee and orange juice. We also enjoyed omelettes, French toast, eggs, bacon and other delicious items we had never experienced. Our room was very nice, too. Thank you Charles and Jo for your hospitality and the fellowship we shared during our brief stay. We would recommend this B&B to anyone needing to stay in New Iberia, LA. Randy and Lisa Allen

We passed through New Iberia on a road trio and spent the night here, booking was efficient and done the day before via email. The place was easy to find and we were welcomed by the owners Charles and Joe. The room we stayed in was nice and big and the bed was so comfy we had our best night's sleep of the trip. The house is conveniently located a short walk from a few bars and eateries. ||The breakfast was amazing- 3 courses and all home cooked by Joe- delicious!||A lovely and most welcoming stay.

Charles and Jo were excellent hosts and provide a B&B experience which is well located, offers a great breakfast at a shared table which leads to interesting conversation with other guests, and has clean, roomy accommodation with some fine old furniture. They were very helpful in offering suggestions for eating out and for trips. New Iberia is worth a visit and this is the place to stay.

My wife and I stayed here one night of traveling through the area. Our room was very comfortable. It was clean and decorated in antique furniture. We had a private bath. The breakfast was excellent with generous portions. The host and hostess were friendly and very informative about the area. Overall it was a very pleasant experience

We have stayed in many B&Bs, some very good and some not so much. This was absolutely one of the very best. The hosts are people you wish lived next door to you; they are friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and very helpful. The room was comfortable, and the entire suite was spotless. Best of all, this was the best breakfast we have had so far. We cannot recommend this place enough!

The breakfasts were delightful. Excellent food in a lovely setting. The rest of the experience, however was not very good. The house was musty and overcrowded with things. If we sat in the living room after 9:00 pm, we were made to feel very uncomfortable. If we got back to the house after 9:00 pm., it was completely dark and the stairs up to our room were very steep. We definitely will not go back.

Yelp
Great location across from the public library if you are researching local history. We loved its location close to Avery Island. Quiet upstairs bedroom with small shower, but such character! Loved the art work, much of which is provided by the owners. Lovely couple, who know the area well and can give you lots of suggestions for restaurants and local groceries with speciality items. Get off the beaten path and treat yourself to a wonderful breakfast!

Yelp
This was the most wonderful experience we had in Louisiana. Jo and Charles were extremely helpful in our tours and when we couldn't find a rental car they gave us a way to travel thru the area. Jo cooks up the most unbelievable breakfasts a person could ask for. Don't miss this one.
