This hotel is a lovely place in a picturesque village, with old narrow streets. The room was clean, eveything worked well in the bathroom, the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic (plenty of choice. Do not expect an English breakfast, neither eggs nor bacon, but plenty of quality local products, ham, cheese, fruit, honey, and cakes, muesli...), but I did not like the television running (quietly, but disturbing, trash programs). |The hotel staff was always friendly. The time to get breakfast was unfortuntely a bit late, from 9.00 till 11.00 a.m., thus too late in the summer if you want to make a really longer hike. Better would be from 8.00 to 10.00. |The hotel has a private parking space, but it costs 12.00 € per day, so we preferred to ley our car at one of the public parking spaces of the village (it is a rather safe place).|The pool was resfreshing, with great views; it does not suit for small children though, as it is deep everywhere (150 cm to 170 cm if I remember well). But this was just nice, being able to swim properly... A nice cat greeted us at the pool.|It is possible to hike directly from the hotel without having to move the car (at least 2 hikes). |There are not many restaurants or shops (behalve art and craft products) in town, but it is normal, it is a small village after all.

This is a small individual hotel which is bright, clean and well looked after. ||Bedrooms are light and spacious, and ensuite bathrooms modern and up to date. ||We enjoyed the fabulous breakfast, with many different items to choose from including a fresh homemade tiramisu! ||The hotel is situated at the top of the village but in a great location, easy walking distance of the small village with a few bars, restaurants and gift shops. ||Wonderful view of the mountains and there are walks nearby. There is a small swimming pool and attractive terrace with sunloungers for relaxing. || Definitely recommended.

Lovely friendly hotel in a very interesting village. The local car park was busy so we paid to put the hire car in the hotel garage. Our bedroom was very clean with a very comfortable bed and lovely modern shower. As usual in Spain, I bought my travel kettle. Breakfast was truly amazing.|We came to walk and used Walk! the Alpujarras (Discovery Walking Guides). This hotel is in a great location and we completed 6 walks (two on one day!), of average length 4-5 hours. It was a marvelous experience. Don't be afraid of the dirt tracks into the mountains, just take them slowly.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel! Free parking, great location to walk through the little town and very cute / clean. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was a huge spread of pastries, breads and we've never seen that many cakes put out for a breakfast! Defintiely a sweets and carbs overload. Driving up was an experience with the windy roads but well worth it.

This hotel is in a great location for exploring the curvy, hilly streets of Pampaneira. Small pool, great views of the mountains and village. Food nearby was excellent. Just like the Portuguese food my mother makes. Lots of bees and random cats through. Free parking across the street. Excellent staff.

Terrific rustic little hotel in an absolute gem of a village. Chose this in the middle of three days between Granada and Malaga. Peaceful interesting and great for some relaxation. Very friendly village. Hotel is fairly basic but it all seems to work,,. Attentive staff and a decent breakfast included. Cost about 65 euros.

A very good place to relax and do walks in the Sierra Nevada. High class rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast was both good and special with a number of fantastic cakes. I will definitely come back when I need some mountain air.

The hotel was very clean and had bright and spacious rooms. Delicious homemade breakfast. It also has underground parking. Kind hotel staff. Plenty of cheap restaurants around. For sure we will return!!
