Booked the Studios for a solo visit as they were coming up Half Board for the same cost as any apartment in Old Town. ||Upon check-in, the staff were really friendly. Asked if I wanted the top floor with a massive balcony... yes, please! ( I suspect it may be easier to put younger people in the top floor as the steps in the Studios are quite steep!). ||I was in room 4A and it was exactly what I wanted. Clean and tidy with a massive wraparound balcony and sea views. ||Apartment was cleaned every day without fail and clean towels provided. No complaints at all. ||Would be helpful if you key came off the keyring from the electric card, as it was a bit bulky in my pocket on a night out. ||The Half Board was Breakfast and then you could choose either Lunch or Dinner. The guests at the hotel where food is served ( 30 metres away) were all Spanish, but everyone was lovely and the staff were attentive. ||I really enjoyed the food and felt it was good value. There wasn't always the usual chips etc which a lot of Brits can't live without, but I always found the food fresh and tasty. ||Check in wad smooth and they let me in early and upon check out it was again smooth and the gentleman gave me a bottle of water for the onwards journey. ||Would recommend and return.

I'll start with the positives, view of the sea from the balcony was nice and was a lot closer than I expected. Beds were very comfortable and the Aircon was good (after swapping the dead batteries in the remote control for the TV remote batteries!) |Now the negatives. Although the room was cleaned every day we never had clean towels during our 4 night stay, they were just folded and placed back on the towel rail. Our cups and glasses were never washed (no washing up liquid or sponge provided to wash them ourselves). The shower was very powerful but left a big puddle on the floor every time we used it, due to the shower curtain not stopping water running over the tap end of the bathtop. Also it felt like the shower curtain was trying to eat us as it just sticks to you as you're showering! Hob was in the room but no pans or utensils to cook with! We had opted for half board, and you have to go to a hotel around the corner to eat. We had breakfast the first morning but never ate there at all after that as the breakfast was inedible, with very little choice! The 'restaurant' was tiny, you go downstairs into what feels like a cave with artificial lighting, it was very cramped and noisy, and as the only English people there felt very unwelcome by the Spanish guests. We were also put off eating our evening meal there after upon check in we were told that we pay for our drinks when we check out, no option to pay as we drink. Stairs up to the apartment are very narrow and steep, not much fun with a 20kg suitcase!

We arrived and was taken to apartment which was up very steep stairs and we had difficulty carrying the cases to our room, no help was offered by the hotel. We went to the restaurant on our first night, food was cold, lettuce swimming in water, we were never asked if we wanted drinks or told where to purchase. First night we arrived back after 2.30am, there was a DJ in the street from a bar below who was playing extremely loud music and made it impossible to sleep. We went to reception and were told there was nothing they could do even though Spanish law states music indoors after 12am. They next day we checked out and booked another hotel. Esstudios have refused to refund any monies from the 3 nights we did not stay. I would not recommend these apartments .

Great studios, located in the city center. Close to the beach, harbour, shops and nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. At hte Levante Beach are several restaurants and bars where to party in summer. Great atmosphere and international tourism. At the Poniente beach, you will find more Spanish tourists.

How this has such a low score I will never know. OK so I went there for my birthday from the UK. It's a Spanish hotel, so if you want a English fry up go stay down by the strip. Breakfast was fantastic with great selection of continental breakfast. Eggs and tomatoes on toast for me. The view was out of this world, I did get lucky! It was on the 3rd floor and stunning to sit out there and watch it all going on. The cleaners are very trustworthy. I left everything out and had no concern at all. They would even pick money up from the floor after my nights out and put it all back on the table. Outstanding staff, everyone is so helpful. Lady at reception is amazing, an absolute legend! Guys this is 3mins from the beach, 4mins to the church and 2mins from tapas alley. Come here!! If you are old you have been warned about the stairs, yes they are stairs. Get over it, you are in benidorm... I was walking a min of 6 miles a day. It's not too loud either, I slept fine. Its the oldtown so everything closes up about 1am. Great great great. Reccomend to the more sensible persons who like the Spanish vibe.

On our first day at Estudios RH Sol we were greeted with a notice on the door saying pick up the keys from the main hotel 100 meters back along the street. W had already walked past the main hotel when we found this out. Hardly a big inconvenience, but it would have been nice to have been told on the booking paperwork that the check in would be at the main hotel.||When we picked up our keys we were allocated room 4A on the top floor. There is no lift in this building so if you are not great at lugging your suitcase up 4 flights of quite tight stairs you may want to request a lower floor or perhaps stay at the main RH Sol Hotel which has lifts.||Our room was great very spacious. It had a fridge and a small cooker in it along with a microwave some plates and cutlery separate bathroom with bath and shower and all the usual facilities. The Air conditioning was great and there was a TV Which I don’t believe initially had any UK channels. ||We had a great wrap around balcony overlooking Levante beach that was only 50 meters away. Probably the biggest balcony on the building. The balcony had a table and three chairs although one was removed a week into our stay.||We had some minor issues during our stay. When we arrived, we noticed the Bidet was cracked where it was fastened to the floor. This was changed very shortly after our arrival without us even requesting it. We couldn’t get the TV or Air Con to work properly so after our first breakfast the sent the maintenance man over and he sorted it all out. He also made the request of the reception that they pump some UK channels through to our TV. So, we had BBC News BBC 1 and 2 CBBC for the duration of our stay.||Housekeeping was every day and those members of staff were very hard working, and very friendly. Breakfast is served in the restaurant of the main hotel between 8 and 10 every day. It is a help yourself type of buffet. Probably aimed more at the continental taste than British but we found it very tasty and substantial. ||Check in was very efficient. We booked through Hotels.com and had made our booking as pay at the hotel. We had been fed up over the last 18 months of sometimes having to wait ages on refunds for cancelled trips. We tried in Broken Spanish the first few days to get the hotel to take the payment. Then realised that they wanted paying at the end of the trip. The hotel provided an in room safe at €10 per week with a €10 deposit which is returned on the return of the key. The reception Staff were accommodating and friendly with all and any enquiries during our stay.||Over all we had a fantastic 2 weeks as guests of Estudios RH Sol and would certainly use them again for any return visit to the Old Town of Benidorm. Located less that 100 meters from Tapas Alley, and some of the most popular Bars in the Old town, 50 meters from Gin and Tonic Street and 100 meters from Walking Street, the location is almost impossible to beat.||The staff were a credit to the RH Hotels group a company whose Hotels we had not stayed in before, I believe we mall make a point of look at other hotels in the group as well. Now we have had such a good experience.||Be aware these old Buildings in the Old Town sometimes don’t always have lifts and you will find a very welcoming home from home and base for your holiday

My first time to Benidorm, and had a great 4 day break. We stayed at this 3 star hotel and got a room with a balcony which means you can just see the sea as the hotel is on a side street in the old town ||||Not the largest hotel but you certainly can’t beat it for location. Leave the hotel turn right your on the beach, turn left and your in the old town||||Room clean and tidy, with a great shower plus bath. ||Staff, really friendly and helpful ||Breakfast, a good choice||||The question is always would you stay again……yes

The location is perfect! Benidorm old town right by the beach. I had already read about the stairs! First flight is a nightmare but worth it for the location. My only negative is that it states ‘self catering’. Yes there’s a microwave and 2 hobs, but NO PANS! No way to actually cook! It’s basically a hotel room.
