The coffee: They couldn't make a cortado but they were able to make me a Gibraltar, which is pretty similar. It has a bit more espresso and less milk. It was served very hot, and was very light (probably because of the less milk). It kind of had some cinnamon-y notes. It was a bit beany at first, but I found it tasted much better as it cooled. The barista also let me try their U4EA cold brew, but I wasn't a big fan of that. It was odd, like drinking a beer without any alcohol and some coffee notes.
The shop: The atmosphere was nice. It was a cozy place with very warm lighting. I would say it'd make a good place to chill but probably not work at.
The barista: The guy I met was a super cool dude. Easily the best experience I've had with a barista and the reason this place gets five stars from me. He not only answered all my questions about the different coffees with enthusiasm, he was engaging with small talk and let me try the U4EA when I asked what it was. I wouldn't hesitate to come back.
