Multiple stories of exhibitions on the local culture and traditions with a temporary exhibition on women's role in the Dubrovnik Summer Festival. You can enter for free with the 10 Museums Pass or Dubrovnik Pass. Overall the layout doesn't facilitate the transfer of knowledge as there are plaques with a lot of text referring to some artefacts that are hidden somewhere else in the room. That makes it a bit tiring to get through each floor and be able to connect the information to the items. If you have one of the passes or are interested in seeing some traditional items it's a good place to spend some time. There is no AC and the higher you go up the warmer it gets. However there's a nice view of the old town from the window and seating options on most floors.

Included in the Dubrovnik pass this is definitely worth walking up the hill to visit. In fact the best of the museums I've seen in the town. I loved the large exhibition of b&w photographs taken by Jero Pugliesi mostly in the late 1890's showing what the town & people were like. The second floor showcases traditional life of centuries past through the agricultural instruments, and household furnishings & hardware. The third floor focuses on traditional costumes. You also get a good view of the town from third floor window.

this is one of the more interesting museum to see that is included in the Dubrovnik pass. Personally like this much more than the rest. Their traditional clothes on display is really beautiful, there are also lots of info on their history, tradition and way of life.

It is a very good opportunity to learn about the local culture. Since it is a bit steep, the museum also offers a nice view of the Old Town. The Dubrovnik pass is valid.

Ethnographic museum, included as part of the Dubrovnik pass, displaying photos from people holidaying over the years, traditional costumes, jewellery and farming/household equipment. The building was originally a grain silo, which in itself is a feat considering it was dug out. There's several levels, with many displays.

Wonderful exhibits, well arranged by broad theme on each floor. Not crowded and well worth a visit. It’s located in a historic granary that survived the 1667 earthquake although suffered in the 1979 one.

Nice museum with 3 levels, ground floor with photography from 20th century, showing Dubrovnik city and life of it's citizens, rural areas, all black-white. Second and third floor have original items or reconstructions, mostly from XIX-XXth centuries, normal life items, like wooden barrels, table with belongings, items from some local workshops andall sort of daily life items. It's nice if you don't have interest in very old history like antic period, Roman empire or middle aged, because here you will find old but more relatable to our times museum. Entrance is free if you have Dubrovnik Pass, which I recommend to buy by internet before your arrival to Dubrovnik.
