I had a pleasant stay at Ethnotel Hotel and it’s a solid choice for anyone needing a convenient stopover near the airport. The rooms were impressively clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The staff were a standout—professional, courteous, and attentive, demonstrating excellent etiquette that made every interaction smooth and welcoming.

Stayed at Ethnotel near Kolkata airport for a night and had a really pleasant experience. The rooms were cozy, clean, and surprisingly quiet for the location. Staff were polite, helpful, and made check-in smooth and easy. It’s super convenient if you have an early flight, and the stay definitely felt like good value for money. Great for a short, comfortable stopover!

Located just across the airport but takes at least 15-20 min during peak hours. The staff are very courteous, well behaved, knowledgeable and helpful. The food menu is good and has Bengali delicacies too.

Standard, Elita, Deluxe, and Empirica — the latter includes spacious sitting areas, views of airport runways, and upgraded amenities like newspaper delivery, work desks, valet parking, and in‑house laundry service . All rooms include AC, LED TV, Wi‑Fi, tea/coffee makers, hot water, and round‑the‑clock room service. Nice stay... location is near NSB airport... hygiene is well maintained. Good food. Hotel was good. But I booked hotel for 2 persons. But when I entered in room I got two separate beds which I was not expecting. If a person is booking for two persons, so unless and until we as a customer not asking explicitly to give 2 separate beds, we should give single big bed only. They given solution by merging both the single beds, but that was very very uncomfortable.

Hotel is so good Everything is excellent the rooms was a bit wet, like it caught moisture but else everything was fine

Stayed there for the day as we had to catch a late evening flight. Although a bit small but still a neat/clean and well maintained room with good staff.

Very close to airport and the hotel also provide chargeable pick/ drop cab service for airporr. Good and clean rooms with decent ammenities/toileteries. However, 2 negative things unfair/unthical business practice of selling only premium (himalaya @Rs 94/litre) mineral water and overpriced food menu. 1. The complimentary water they provide is normal priced (Rs. 20 per litre) kinley bottle (1 litre per room per day) and on additional requirements they wont sell the normal priced kinley bottles and you will be compelled to buy himalaya Rs. 94 per litre bottles. Hence, pls carry/buy additional mineral water from outside while returning to hotel as there are no good markets/shop within 0.5 km of the hotel. 2. For a city like kolkata the price of food is very costly, and you dont have any small portion size item for a lighter lunch/dinner. Only include the breakfast in the room tariff while booking online and better to eat outside but beware no good restraunts closeby. Bring while returning to hotel.
