Overall a good hotel, and fairly good value. We had the bigger rooms and there was good amount of room for a small family. The cafe is just okay, the service was good, but I would recommend instead walking a little around Oxford for variety of food and drink options. Parking available when booked.

Please note that even though we had paid for our room before arriving they asked for £150 cover which should be returned when we leave. I have never experienced this before Stair carpet to room needs a good clean or replacing. Two separate buildings so had to go to other building for breakfast. Area far too small for amount of customers even though we booked our table. Service poor

Great. The reception/waiting staff were friendly and attentive . The Bruschetta, blue cheese and walnut salad and spicy Padini we had for lunch was so good we decided to have dinner there too, also great. Straightforward parking, lovely 20 minute walk over the river into the old town and convenient for railway station and Said Business School. Comfy bed, quiet room and nice en-suite. Cooked and continental breakfast. Perfect for a convenient one night stay if you want to avoid the out of town parking and buses.

A very well situated hotel, close to all the amenities. The staff were really friendly and helpful. A nice cafe/cocktail bar is attached to the hotel, which serves up a very nice breakfast. Air con in the room works brilliantly and the shower has really high pressure. Only slight gripes are that we found a bit of dust in places, the tv remote control was very dirty and the bathroom just needs a bit of attention to the sealant around the shower.

We had a very pleasant stay at this lovely little gem of a hotel. Our room was more comfortable than some of the higher-end hotels we’ve been staying at during our trip. The breakfast was superb and the staff was extremely helpful, friendly and personable. If we find ourselves in this area again, we’ll definitely be booking here.

I had dinner in the Caffe on the first night and the food was excellent. The friendliness of the staff was much appreciated. I would happily recommend this hotel to friends and family. The only improvement I can suggest is getting a blackout blind in the room I stayed in. In midsummer it is quite light. It would also help keep the room cool during sunny days.

Stayed recently for an event in Oxford. The hotel is about a 20 minutes walk from the train station. I arrived before the check-in time but had phoned the hotel in advance to see if I could work somewhere as I had an afternoon teams meeting. The hotel is based on either side of the road and one side has a café and I was able to work from there. The cafe prices are a little high, but it was a convenient spot to plug in and work. After check-in, I was shown to my room. This was just down the road and is more like a studio flat as it had a kitchen area with fridge, microwave, plates and glasses. The room was a decent size and well equipped with a comfortable bed. My first impressions were that it looked very clean, however it was let down by me finding cobwebs and spiders in most corners of the room, plus dust on the window frames. The cleaners clearly do a good general job of cleaning the rooms however, the small attention to detail needs some improvement. There were two bottles of water in the fridge and some biscuits on the counter. Whilst I was attending an event and so didn't eat in the hotel, they do a reasonable selection of food, although it's mainly centred around pizza. Breakfast was served in the cafe, which gets quite cramped when a few people are coming down for breakfast at the same time. It was also very cramped when I tried to check out as the counter is right by somebody's table where they were eating and they didn't look too impressed and having somebody stand right by the side of them. Overall a good hotel in a convenient location for the town centre, just slightly let down by the level of cleaning.

Room was a little tired with some loose panels / cupboard doors, etc but otherwise very comfortable. Plenty of room for two suitcases to be open on the floor. A/C very welcome in warm conditions. The caffe was excellent with good food, excellent breakfast and great bar. The service was brilliant - thanks Manager Bushra!❤️
