Etotongwe Lodge

I liked the quiet and calm atmosphere. I would recommend a room directly in front of the garden eg 5 or 6. The small pool was a great opportunity to cool down on a hot day. The dinner always included nice veggies which i liked. Also we liked the pizza. Its a bit too far away from the Etosha national park if you use it to go there. The ride costs 1 hour one way. That was a bit too long for us.

Etotongwe Lodge in Outjo is a great stopover with plenty to offer. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-kept, making for a relaxing stay. Their dinner buffet impressed me with a wide variety of choices, and breakfast was just as satisfying. The location is also very strategic—perfect for travelers heading toward Etosha or passing through Outjo. I didn’t get the chance to try out the bar as I was too tired, but overall, the lodge delivers excellent value. I’d give it a solid 4 out of 5 and strongly recommend spending a night here if you can.

Owners dogs barking all night. Dogs are left outside to roam around and no one bothers to keep them locked up or quiet. Stay somewhere else if you want to actually sleep at night.

You can choose different rooms with TVs etc. Ours had a toilet which kept refilling during the night. The dinner buffet was delicious especially the pizzas. Breakfast was just as wonderful. Service fantastic.

We stayed here for two nights as part of an organized tour. This was a more basic accommodation than the others we stayed at but we had everything we needed. Free Internet access is available in the main building. There's a pool and a bar. Food was pretty good. About 1h to Etosha National Park.

The ladies at the bar are extremely rude and unwelcoming. They seem forced to serve clients

Etotongwe lodge is a lovely venue, but service was somewhat disappointing. From the very beginning when we made our booking, communication on payments could have been better. ||The rooms are basic, but clean, and there isn't wifi in the rooms. Our breakfast was disappointing. We arrived an hour after opening and hot water for tea was cold, the entire hot breakfast had been demolished already and staff looked at us funny when we asked for the hot breakfast selection- they reluctantly brought some out eventually. We felt like an inconvenience. I had also asked if it would be possible to borrow an iron beforehand and was reassured that it would be with pleasure- but that wasn't communicated through the channels properly and I had to go on a hunt for the laundry, where I did find an iron but very clearly inconvenienced the ladies (I used the iron for 5 minutes). ||The lodge shows great potential overall and is a popular destination but service needs attention.

The Lodge is very clean and comfortable. Atmosphere is really amazing. T Bone steak , chips and vegetables , was out of this world . It is a very good stop before you go to the Etosha . I will definitely come back again . Excellent work to the workers and management. |Well done |Loots
