Ette Hotel (Orlando, Florida) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Luxury boutique hotels are still not exactly the norm in Orlando, but this one is up there with the best of them. Ette is just a few minutes’ drive from the theme parks, but within its walls is a hotel as urban and urbane as its counterparts in Miami or New York. The lobby is resplendent in richly figured Italian marble and the rooms are modern and minimalist, but not without warmth, and the comforts are first-rate. The Michelin-starred chef Akira Black is responsible for Lipa, the rooftop restaurant, as well as Salt & The Cellar, the flagship restaurant and cocktail bar." - Tablet Hotels

While not perfect, there was a lot to love about our stay. The location is unbeatable - you're close to EVERYTHING you want, the airport is 35min, Epcot is 10min, SeaWorld is 20min - unbeatable. The property is well maintained, and the aromatherapy throughout is great. The rooms are comfortable, and the premium bedding and great toiletries are definite plusses. The bed is large and comfortable. The staff is personable and very willing to help. The bar/restaurant is expensive and hit-or-miss. Bottom line: the price is very competitive for the quality received, and I would definitely stay here again when I'm in Orlando. It's not a 5 star NYC property but it IS a 5 star Florida one and an Orlando standout.

Overall, our stay was good. The hotel is owned by an Iranian family, and they were genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive, which made the experience even better. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and housekeeping service was fast and responsive. In-room service was also very good and efficient. The breakfast was good and reasonably priced for what was offered. The location is a plus as well — only about a 5-minute drive to Disney World Orlando, which was extremely convenient. Overall, this hotel is a great option for families who prefer not to stay at a theme-park hotel. During peak seasons like Christmas and holidays, theme-park hotels can feel overcrowded and service can suffer, so this is a calm and reliable alternative

This is my favorite hotel in the Orlando area. The rooms are very comfortable, with a lot of thought and care being put into their layout and design. The linens are superb. The mattress is very comfortable. The lobby exudes class and style. The restaurant - Salt and Cellar - has excellent innovative dishes and a marvelous breakfast buffet. Service is top notch and the location is very convenient to Disney and universal. Nothing is more than about 30 minutes away:

We stayed at the Ette hotel in Orlando recently for our anniversary and had an absolutely phenomenal experience. The hotel was incredibly clean (and we are germaphobes!) and thoughtfully put together, and the staff was accommodating and went out of their way to make our anniversary stay a special one. Luciano at the front desk was kind and compassionate, and worked hard to make our stay special. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in Orlando. Thank you to the entire team and staff for actually making us feel cared for :)

I booked the hotel just for 1 night for my birthday. I had a deep tissue massage with Vivian, which was a 10/10. She is so sweet & made sure I was comfortable the entire time. It took an hour to get my drink from the bar to spa area. The air condition wasn't working in my room, I was offered another room to sleep in on the same floor & still able to keep the room I originally had. It was slightly inconvenient but also convenient at the same time. The hotel is beautiful & the rooms were very clean! All the staff I encountered were very nice from housekeeping to front desk. The are area was very busy but had a lot of food places nearby & Publix. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

I have stayed at the ette four times now. It has become my favorite hotel in the area.||The rooms are extremely well thought out and appointed. Even if you arrive very late everything that you can need for a good nights sleep is available. In addition, the bed is very comfortable and the linens are superb. Overall, the rooms have a very peaceful feeling to them as well that helps me get to sleep.||The lobby is a work of art. That is not an exaggeration. They post pictures regularly on Instagram and it is beautiful to look at.||The restaurant is one of the best in Orlando - and one of the best I’ve had the pleasure to experience. The menu has many innovative delicious dishes and the breakfast buffet is excellent.||Service is absolutely superb. I genuinely feel like I’m a guest every time I come here.

Google
A really beautiful hotel with amazing amenities and top notch service. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the restaurant // cocktails are amazing. Emilio and his team go above and beyond to ensure you are taken care of. I would highly recommend this hotel during your visit to Orlando for a boutique experience!

Google
Excellent alternative to the resort hotels. 10 minute drive to Disney and 30 minutes to Orlando. Rooms were spacious and clean with comfortable beds. The restaurant in the hotel lived up to its Michelin recommend plaque, amazing food and the staff were attentive and approachable. Great hotel!

Yelp
I came here for their afternoon tea that takes place on Sunday's from 11-4. The price is only $75 but that doesn't include the 20% gratuity that is added on top. It is also reservation only so you can't just walk in expecting to be able to be seated for the afternoon tea. The staff was very friendly and the overall experience was very nice. As far as the food, it was all generally tasty. However, the sandwiches could've been better. The bread on all the sandwiches was very stale and dry as if they've been sitting out for a while. But with not a lot of afternoon tea options in Orlando this is a good option.

Yelp
1 out of 5 stars We chose ette hotel to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary because it markets itself as a luxury boutique hotel with Michelin-associated dining. Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to the standards the hotel promotes. While the property is clean and stylish, nearly every core part of our stay had major issues. We experienced little to no hot water on Friday night and again Saturday morning, with lukewarm water and very low shower pressure. Being unable to properly shower at a property advertised as luxury was extremely disappointing. Service was slow and inefficient: a basic ice request took nearly 45 minutes with multiple calls required. Both in-room dining experiences were very poor. Dinner included a Wagyu burger that lacked flavor and fell apart, and a petite filet that was bland and missing menu ingredients. Breakfast the next morning was over $90, poorly presented, and unappetizing. None of the food reflected the level of quality expected from a hotel associated with a Michelin restaurant. On Saturday afternoon, the hotel experienced a power outage lasting about three hours, during which we received no updates, no communication, and no gestures to acknowledge the inconvenience. When the power returned, the TV still didn't work -- and despite multiple reports, no one ever came to fix it. On a rainy anniversary evening, we ended up watching TV on an iPhone because the in-room television was unusable. Despite checking in early, we were placed directly next to the elevator, resulting in constant noise Friday night. The provided sound machine malfunctioned, randomly changing tracks and volume and startling us awake. The thin walls meant we could clearly hear loud talking and yelling from the room next door. To make matters worse, we made several attempts through email to resolve these issues fairly and gave the hotel opportunities to make things right -- but we never received a meaningful response. What was meant to be a special anniversary stay became frustrating and disappointing due to consistent service failures and a complete lack of follow-through. For a property that promotes itself as luxury and Michelin-level, this experience was far below what was promised.

Yelp
I'm staying in a timeless suite, their top tier option. I ask specifically for room cleaning, they don't give it. I ask later for it, they give an attitude and say ok fine, and hang up. I go to to order cocktails at the bar, apparently a Michelin starred restaurant, Salt & Cellar. It takes 10 minutes to get an order placed. There is old food/drinks sitting in front of me for 5 minutes. The servers are overwhelmed and slow. The cocktails are overly sweet, but I wouldn't complain about that if it didn't come with extremely slow service. I haven't had such a poor experience at a 5-star hotel. This is probably because it is in Orlando and the service is more on par with a lower star hotel. It would be a fantastic 3-star hotel however.

Yelp
Wonderful and chic hotel. Comfortable accommodation and excellent services from the desk staff to housekeeping. The hotel lobby smelled and looked clean. The rooms were spacious, modern and cleaned. I like the wooden or vinyl flooring. Bathroom was spacious and had tile flooring. They changed the pillow cases and bedsheets. Only qualm was they didn't offer bottled water but had a tall glass bottle of filtered water that they refill for you daily.

Yelp
My experience at the ette hotel was amazing! I was invited for a company dinner and i really enjoyed myself. The hotel smelled so good upon entering and the people at the front desk were very friendly. Our server was very informative and knowledgeable. He told a story with each things he brought to us that was on the menu. The food was amazing! It was a great fine dining experience. I don't really care for red meat but for this occasion i tried it, and it was bad at all. The bathrooms were so luxury, and looked very clean. I would recommend eating at this restaurant to anyone that wants a nice fine dining experience or a perfect date night .

Yelp
Came here for afternoon tea at Salt and The Cellar. This hotel has free self service parking. The hotel is absolutely beautiful!! You can definitely see the quality and difference upon walking in. Staff was friendly in pointing us in the right direction. Not only was there a great lobby area you could relax in but the restrooms were fancy! They are dark but I was just so impressed with the cleanliness and quality of soap and towels. They even have floss and mouth wash! The laundry area is the Laundry Museum and is behind a full glass window that you can view perfectly clean and folded towels and even watch the staff folding them. This would definitely be on my list to stay one day.

Yelp
Do not waste your money, or time on this hotel. For being "luxury" the front of house staff is not understanding, kind, or respectful towards their guests. We had a horrible time trying to make a reservation, and when we did, we were not accommodated with the amenities that we payed for. Honestly, you'd be better off saving your money, and paying for a hotel near a theme park, that will stand behind their product. It's hard to leave a bad review on a place that has potential, but if they would hire staff that respects their guests, it would be a different story. Do not stay here.

Jorya Y.

Yelp
I stayed at this hotel twice in two months and something horrible happened without the hotel offering any official apology. My mom left something for me in front of my room along with a special souvenir I got at Disney that was very sentimental to me. I was already asleep when it was left in front of my room at 3 am and it was gone the next morning. At first, the hotel said they would check the cameras for us and after they checked they said "no one entered my room." The Disney bag was left in front of my door NOT in the room. (camera is right outside our room btw) Then, this guy said he collects breakfast orders around 4am and if he sees any bags in the hallway he throws them away because guests often leave their trash outside. He said he might've thrown it away but he doesn't remember. He didn't apologize but kept questioning why we left stuff outside my room. I WAS ASLEEP and couldnt get it because i don't sleepwalk. The next day, we asked other hotel staff and they had to check the cameras again to finally confirm my bag was thrown out by that dude. They couldn't see the first time? Again, no apology, manager wasn't even at the hotel, and the only thing they keep saying is "if u leave anything out the hall we would think it's trash." First, we stayed at this hotel two times and this time had two rooms booked, on different floors. We go back to the hotel late at night everyday and never saw any souvenir bags left outside doors other than food trays. Second, why are they trying to blame me? I was asleep and was going to get it first thing in the morning after I wake up what did they want me to do? It was still there at 3am and gone in the morning. The guy just doesn't even see what's in the bag and put it in the trash? Third, the things I got are not purchasable online, only at Epcot. If I want to get my things back, not only do I have to come back to Orlando, buy Disney tickets, buy everything again, but walk to all the countries and wait in line to get signatures for my Epcot passport. This entire time the hotel staffs are avoiding the actual problem, gaslighting me, and not offering any solutions. Not to mention the manager didn't even show up once to talk to us.

Yelp
Best non-touristy destination hotel close to Disney. I come to Orlando every year for conferences. We often stay at a resort or wherever the conference is being held. But since I was not on vacation, it just felt awkward all the time. Until, by chance, I was looking for a place to hold a business meeting. My assistant found Ette. The hotel rooms were the best I have stayed at. The atmosphere was relaxed, polished, and modern. It is a health/wellness destination so you are going to find delicious mock-tails instead of cocktails. The restaurant on site is superb, and will open whatever bottle of wine you brought along to pair with your meal. We will look forward to having another one of our meetings here soon.

Gina S.

Yelp
Amazing hotel. Staff was friendly. The hotel and room are extremely clean. loved everything. One of the most comfortable experiences I've ever had with a hotel. The restaurant located in the hotel was beautiful but the staff were not friendly and engaging like the hotel staff. The bartender He barely said hello to us when we sat down. He also spoke so quiet you could barely hear him anyway. His demeanor was very stand offish. We ordered a drink each, when we were done he never asked if we wanted a second round. So we sat there for about an hour and decided to pay our bill and get drinks elsewhere. Aside from that I will absolutely be staying at this hotel again.

Yelp
ette Hotel is the definition of luxury and wellness. It's a beautiful, European-style hotel with fine-dining options that are still accessible as well as a tea hour, mocktail bar, and now a rooftop bar. I am a big fan of Salt & The Cellar by Chef Akira Back. It's my best meal of 2022 - try the toro and the steak. Beyond all those things, what you'll notice is that the hotel really focuses on wellness for residents and the rooms actually focus on creating that mindset, which is already quite popular in Europe. The beds were comfortable and so was the room. It's a great place to go with a date or to plan a trip with someone special. The location is part of an area of Kissimmee that is still changing, but still very close to Disney and the theme park area of Orlando, which is convenient if you have business on the tourism side of Orlando. I will return soon!

Yelp
Wow what a nice surprise for a hotel you pull up and from the outside it does not look like anything special. On the inside the decor is amazing. The rooms are nice a little bit small, but they have frette sheets and le labo products. The pool is small but it's nice that they have a pool. The restaurant inside I only went for breakfast was good and the staff is very helpful and friendly and parking is extremely easy.

Yelp
Wow! Just wow. What a stunning hotel. The entire staff made what was already an incredible stay best in class. Mariela and Alejandro at the front desk made check in/check out a breeze. Maryella in the spa was so wonderful checking on us throughout our spa service. Taby & Alexa provided two of the best massages we've ever had in our life. And Gabriel was a first class manager/server at Akira Back, which was an unforgettable and amazing dining experience for breakfast, lunch AND dinner. Not only was the hotel gorgeous, it was immaculately clean and no design detail or amenity was left out. Thank you for a spectacular stay. We will definitely be back!

Rosalind H.

Yelp
The hotel is very elegant . When I go there I feel like I am staying at a boutique hotel in Europe. My husband and I have dined at Salt and Cellar by chef Akira Back. The food and drinks are delicious. The wait staff are friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about the menu. It truly is an experience to remember. I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant.

Yelp
My mom loves to partake in high/afternoon tea and I have become a fan, as well. When she planned to be in town, back in October, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to try the afternoon tea at ette. Before I talk about the tea experience, I want to talk about the hotel itself. It is an exquisite boutique hotel located just outside the Disney border. When you first walk in, there is a tranquil, yet indulgent smell. On the ground floor, there is a pool and outdoor lounge area, the lobby, a restaurant, the social room and the book room. While waiting for my reservation time, I peeked into the social room and it is a nice sized room to lounge in for an office gathering or small social gathering. Just outside the book room, there is an offering of several magazines - local and beyond. The wall of the book room was lined with art books and some novels. There were even some options for children. They had several copies of some books, too. In the middle of the room is a big table for you to sit and read. It is definitely an ambiance set for reading a good book or thumbing through a new topic. It was time for our reservation, so I went to the restaurant - xx. Let me start by saying the service was excellent and the food was amazing. We were seated and promptly introduced to Rafael, our server. We learned that it was a team effort. Although, Rafael was our server, several others assisted in bringing out our food and drinks. You have a good selection of teas from which to choose and a detailed description of each. The same goes for a cocktail, if you'd like to partake in that. Each one comes with an exquisite presentation! Raphael paid extreme attention to my mom's allergy and made sure she did not get ANYthing that would cause the allergy. He sat down to understand more and then the chef came out to chat with us. Because of her allergy, my mom decided to try the burger from the lunch menu. When the food came out, Raphael described each piece on the tea experience and told my mom what she should not try. Each course came out in a timely manner and Raphael made us feel like family. The service is splendid. The food delectable. The tea was an experience. I would highly recommend you go experience this cute place for yourself - whether it is lunch, dinner, after work drinks, or the tea experience. If you haven't already tried it, you're missing out!

Yelp
The ette Hotel is the definition of hotel perfection. I am writing this review at the end of a 4 night stay and I truly don't want to leave. Every detail was taken care of and the King Wellness Suite I stayed in was an oasis of chill. It was so great that I invited friends over because it was an unbeatable environment that I wanted to brag about. The dinner and drinks I had at Salt and The Cellar by Akira Back was amazing and the Sunday Afternoon Tea was a highlight. The Pool with its outdoor shower and separate bathrooms gave me a chance to tune out the world for a few hours. A huge thanks to the two owners, Sheila and Alex who are constantly on site to take of any need. I cannot wait to come back!!

Yelp
The most beautiful, luxurious hotel I've seen in Orlando I definitely highly recommend this as my number one pick if you're looking to travel in luxury to Orlando, right next to Disney World, animal Kingdom. They offer the upmost highest quality of services with a very hands-on boutique feel.. they also offer a beautiful gym spa pool fabulous Michelin star chef restaurant all of the dishes are delicious with high-quality presentation. The rooms are the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in the Offer museum so you can see how their facility works with their cleanliness to be top-tier there you can see them folding towels and linens and not to mention they're linens are imported from Italy, as well as their robes and towels. One of my favorite features about this hotel is that the offer Leo sent 33 toiletries which if you're not familiar with that brand the bottles of perfume retail for $322 to give you an idea of the luxury. Our suite was the wellness suite that included your own peloton, bike and fitness center as well as a pullout sofa not to mention our suite was as big as a one bedroom apartment in Los Angeles.. very spacious. Beautiful lighting. Ambient scape sounds to put you to sleep.

Caroline G.

Yelp
I went on a last minute girls weekend and we could not have picked a more perfect place. No words to fully describe the Ette experience, they have not missed a detail from the customer service to the quality of the hotel itself, I can not rave about this place enough! You just have to go to and experience yourself to believe it. An oasis is the area that is Disney. We will be regulars here when we need an Escape from reality.

Elyse G.

Yelp
This is a gorgeous hotel with a lovely small restaurant and pool area. My main complaint is that it is completely alcohol free which is very bizarre. They do some stellar mock tails with fanfare of presentation, which is quite incredible and unique. Be prepared to spend at least $300 on dinner for two however, it is super expensive.

Stacy L.

Yelp
Amazing guest service 24/7, thank you Roberto! Our group checked-in late and they were still very accommodating with us even though their in-house restaurant was already closed for the night. Only issue we came across was that our room key kept malfunctioning and we had to request new keys at least twice, but their staff was very quick about it.

Marcie K.

Yelp
a phenomenal experience. I can't remember the last time I experienced kind and attentive service as I have at the Ette hotel. you MUST reserve a spa day here with MARIELLA. she has a gift like no other and I've been to many spa days!! Even if you don't stay here, at least treat yourself to their spa. The food is exquisite!!

Matthew R.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible! Both times we stayed, we are treated with the best service and hospitality. This is my wife and my 2nd time staying at this hotel and we've now decided that we won't stay anywhere else but here, in Orlando. As we were checking out this time we were greeted by the friendly staff where they provided us with drinks and food to go and even gave our son an adorable giraffe. It's amazing when your stay at Ette is more magical than your stay at Disney world! Can't wait for our next stay!

Cherlz G.

Yelp
I was looking forward to staying at this hotel in November 2023 however I should have noticed the warning signs. During booking, the hotel stay jumped from about $145/night to about $307/night once they realized I was calling from out of state. I was told I was misquoted for their other property. I ended up booking through a third party site for a lot less than $307/night. It's a small boutique hotel and not a chain so it was surprising to learn upon check in that they didn't have another location. They did honor my previous restaurant booking for another time which I appreciated. And the hotel is well decorated and has a luxury ambience. Unfortunately room service food is mediocre and I did get sick from the food I ate at the restaurant. I was allowed a free night stay to get strength to travel the next day, thankfully. It's definitely a mixed experience. Staff there especially at the restaurant were very kind and professional. However my booking experience and overall experience left much to be desired. I was traveling alone for a funeral and didn't feel that comfortable/safe there neither. So if you're attending don't go by yourself, especially if you're a woman. It's giving monitoring single women and trafficking vibes. It's a dry hotel so they don't serve alcoholic drinks which I think is more cultural than any health conscious trend.
