The Location was good and close to town, and easy walk to all the restaurants. ||This was the first of two times I stayed at the hotel, the first time, we had a really nice room, it was large and well refurbished and plenty of natural light. The second time we stayed, the room was not good, it was on the top floor where they may not have been refurbished. The bathrooms were good and showers had hot water||They gave us a sandwich and water for breakfast in replacement for breakfast. Uphill walk from town to hotel||There was a hair-ball left from the last guests in our bathtub.||The majority of tours leave very early, and their breakfast starts too late. I can't imagine a lot of people have breakfast because of this, even though breakfast came as part of the room rate. Instead we had sandwich and water because we asked for it, but something better could have been offered.

This is a quirky little hotel with wood floors, old furniture and nice wall paintings. I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the hotel is safe. It is centrally located in the historical center of Cusco. Nice hot water too. Breakfast was basic but OK. Staff very friendly. The have a laundry service: give it to them before 9 AM and it is ready by 7PM the same day for the very cheap price of 7 soles per kilo. The rooms vary from large with three double beds to rather tiny singles (mine). Some have a shower but mine had a small bath too, which was nice. There was a heater in the room and I never felt chilly.

We stayed 2 nights. Very nice and service oriented staff. The rooms were clean and tidy and ours on top very quite for a room in the middle of the city, but coming with 2 big bags a bit small. Breakfast ok. Located close to the city center makes the hotel a good place to explore Cusco.

We spent 4 nights in this hotel. The building was quite beautiful, the room was big and the members of staff polite. A heater was available so the room was quite warm after a bit. Negative notes: 1- One morning we had to leave very early but they were unable to prepare us a quick breakfast, don't even in a bag. 2- The breakfast was very poor, with a small pot of jam for each table that wasn't enough not even for one person. 3- The room was very noisy because very close to the reception and you could hear all the people chatting at the reception and horning cars.||The hotel was 10 minutes walking from the city centre on a uphill road, which was a pleasant walk actually. However you can take a taxi from Plaza de Armas for only 5-8 soles if you don't want to walk.||In summary, I would recommend this hotel but I would advise not to take room 12 or any rooms on the ground floor as very noisy.

The 2 standard twin rooms we had were quite cramped and unpleasant to be in. The one on the ground floor was incredibly noisy. One superior double was spacious and nice to be in. The breakfast was awful. There was not enough space for everyone to sit and the supplies kept running out of the desultory choices. Would never stay here again. There is a Casa Andina Standard immediately opposite which sounded much better.

After a bad experience in another hotel, we stayed in Eureka for 5 nights. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped us with any problems we had. It is well located with a small square nearby with restaurants and little shops and a 15 minute walk from the main Plaza de Armas. The room was clean and had everything we needed, we felt very safe at the hotel and it was good value for money.

Everything you need/want in a Cusco hotel. Close to main square and attractions like the Monastery/Convent. Comfortable rooms, nice breakfast buffet. They know hikers are leaving very early and provide the breakfast when you need it. Stored luggage for four days while we were hiking.
