TL;DR 5 star for customer service
I had lunch here, and overall, it was a great experience. The ambiance was nice--not too packed--and since I was dining alone, I grabbed a seat at the bar.
I started with the Peach Buzz Sangria, which was a little tart but still really good, strong. For my meal, I ordered the NY strip steak medium rare, but when it arrived, it was definitely not cooked to the right temperature. These situations can be a little nerve-wracking because you want to enjoy your meal without feeling like you're inconveniencing the staff. However, I also believe that if a restaurant makes a mistake, they deserve the opportunity to fix it rather than being unfairly criticized online.
So, I spoke up, and the manager came out right away. Within seconds, she confirmed that the steak wasn't medium rare and took it back to be redone. While I waited, they offered me a Caesar salad, which was a nice touch. When my new steak arrived--this time cooked perfectly to medium rare--it was absolutely delicious, especially with the bone marrow butter.
What really impressed me, though, was the customer service. Not only did they correct the mistake quickly and provide a salad while I waited, but they also comped my steak, which I didn't expect at all. That level of service was beyond generous, and it made a lasting impression. So of course I tipped very generously (and yes it was a percentage on the original non-comped bill)
I would 100% come back just for the outstanding customer service alone. Mistakes happen, but the way a restaurant handles them speaks volumes--and Eureka! nailed it.
10/10 experience!
