I spent a week at Ocean Drive Barcelona, and overall, it was a solid stay. The hotel staff really stood out – both the front desk and room service were super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I appreciated the early check-in at 11 AM, which made my arrival much easier. The room itself was a bit smaller than I anticipated, but it was perfectly fine for one person.
That said, there were a few things I didn’t love. The elevator was a little outdated and had no button to shut the door, which was kind of annoying when I didn’t want to wait for it to close. I also expected a free mini bar or fridge, but there wasn’t one, which was a bit disappointing. Breakfast was another letdown – it was limited and didn’t seem worth the price.
The rooftop is nice for photos, though it’s on the smaller side. As for the five-star rating, I’m not sure it fully lives up to that, but it’s cozy and charming. I’d definitely come back, love Barcelona.
