Fantastic hotel 🏨. The rooms are very comfortable, shower tub combo, very clean, beds 🛌 for a good night's sleep. Staff members are excellent and provide great service.

I had an excellent experience staying at this hotel! The rooms are very clean, smell amazing, and are extremely comfortable, which made all the difference during my stay. But the real highlight was bartender Felipe Roza, who prepared a delicious meal and an incredible drink! The service was outstanding, with great attention and friendliness. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and a great experience!

A perfect place to stay in Porto. The room was very comfortable and clean, breakfast was delicious. Located not far from the city centre, so we walked to the main sights every day. The price is very reasonable for such a nice place

I caution against booking at this hotel. I’ve been here 3 nights, in a room directly above the 4 large community recycle bins parked permanently on the street in front of the hotel. The city emeries the bins at all hours. Last night emptying was done at 4:45 AM and set off a nearby alarm which has now been going off for 2 hours and 50 minutes. I am accustomed to sleeping on a very loud city-center street in a party district but this level of noise is ridiculous. Sleep isn’t possible. The staff knew I was here 3 nights when I checked in, so why did they put me in such a loud room? And why wouldn’t their staff have a way to address the alarm going off in the street? Also, the elevator has been broken since I arrived so they have is using the staff lift, entered via the storage rooms.

We stayed at Eurostars Das Artes and really enjoyed the spacious room. Ours had floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Rua da Rosário, a sofa (great for flopping down after a long day), and a huge marble bathroom. Loads of wardrobe space. There was a kettle and a capsule coffee machine, which was a nice surprise. It was not mentioned on the website and we nearly stayed somewhere else for that reason! That said, the coffee capsules weren’t replenished during our stay until we asked three times. We ended up buying some at the supermarket around the corner. A small thing, but it would be great if the hotel just kept them stocked and mentioned the kettle and coffee machine online. I nearly packed a travel kettle and some Nescafé! The back garden and terrace are a lovely touch. Perfect for a quiet drink in the evening. The hotel is in Porto’s arts district, within easy walking distance of Livraria Lello, Torre dos Clérigos, Palácio de Cristal, galleries, and artisan shops. The neighborhood feels a bit scruffy at first, but it’s central and full of creative charm. Staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations and bookings. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay with character. Just bring your own coffee capsules, just in case! And most important in Porto: comfortable shoes. Ladies, leave your heels at home.

I stayed at Hotel Das Artes recently. While most of the staff were helpful and polite throughout my stay, I had a very upsetting experience that I feel guests should be aware of. I lost my AirPods in the room, and I am 100% certain they were left there. After checking out, I contacted the hotel, but they told me nothing was found even though the "Find me" option of my I phone told my airpods were still there. I retraced all my steps and am absolutely sure they didn’t go missing anywhere else. Although the staff were generally kind, the way this situation was handled was disappointing and it’s hard not to feel like someone took them. My strong advice to anyone staying here: do not leave any valuables unattended in your room. Keep them with you at all times or locked up securely. This incident completely overshadowed what could have been a good stay.

I have been coming to this hotel for a decade. Always enjoyed it, but sadly it has changed dramatically. ||The staff at reception was the worst I have ever encountered. Extremely rude, and insulted an elderly lady at check in. I was appaled! ||AVOID, as this, the hotel reception staff give a really poor experience of Porto, a city that lives of tourism and services. ||The worst customer service ever experienced in a hotel.

Great quality/price right on the center of Oporto. The staff was lively to US and made us feel like we were at a 5 star hotel, Hugo and the blonde girl were super helpful. Will come back! Laury

Yelp
This is a great hotel, clean, friendly staff, excellent location, walking distance to center of city, secure inside parking and a great included breakfast. Excellent price!

Yelp
The hotel has issues which they need to address with urgency. The front desk is overwhelmed and has a hard time handling the simplest tasks and questions. Had an issue about the cancellation of one night made through Expedia and it took two phone calls and an hour of my time to resolve. Room cleaning crew is always behind with many issues with cleaning the room on time and thoroughly. Bathtub very slippery and water temperature of shower alternates from hot and cold constantly without prompting. Breakfast is good but pricey. Must mention that the bar service is excellent and Diego and Jasmin are exceptional. It's an expensive hotel for what you get.

Yelp
Louis R loves being pampered while traveling in Europe. Louis R only chills at high-end spots but will sacrifice uber-comfort ONLY to be proximal to authentic bars/restos or if he stays in a remodeled castle (like he did in Ireland, Scotland, Sweden, etc.). This spot had a modern, organized, clean suite with a large bed, a fridge, a safe, a huge closet and bathroom, which is not the norm for a European hotel. This spot has affable front desk personnel, who made it a quick check-in/check-out process. The turn-down service was precise. This spot had a daily breakfast full of options, buffet-style...which Louis R finds at most of the high-end hotels he stay at. This spot will be on Louis R's list of places to hit up again. All hail His Grace, Louis of House R, First of His Name, King of New York and New Jersey, Lord of the USA, and Protector of the Realm

Yelp
I picked this hotel sort of blindly, trusting some reviews I had read, but you really never know what to expect till you see for yourself. We opted to take the metro from the airport and walk. That's not what I'd recommend. It's a long walk on cobblestone streets and pulling luggage like that is annoying. I was concerned when we got to the hotel that we were in the middle of nowhere and this might have been a mistake. But i was wrong! It's fantastic!! Just around the corner and a short walk away is a beautiful plaza and pedestrian area with many restaurants and shops. In another direction and 10 minute walk is an even bigger concentration of great places, including Ze Bota (my favorite meal during our entire trip!). You really don't need the metro (which isn't that extensive in Porto) and walking is the way to go. We walked to the Douro river and downtown in just minutes (all downhill!) and to the port houses across the river to sample a considerable amount of port wine. Loved it!! The hotel is very well done and the room was superb. Beautiful furnishings, comfy bed, great staff who were incredibly helpful, good breakfast, clean...everything you'd want! Loved this place!! And surprisingly inexpensive! If I am able to get back to Porto (and I hope I do), I'm staying here again!! Highly recommended!

Yelp
So traveling through Portugal and Spain (December 2017), we were looking for a reliable, high quality, cost effect accommodation solution. Once we passed through Lisbon and Seville, we found Eurostars in Cordoba. Pulled up the car and complimentary valet with parking. Super modern suites with everything you can imagine. King sized bed, fridge, safe, spacious closets and a spotless room situated in a large open foyer (which in the summertime would be bustling). Super friendly and helpful staff who helped me book a wonderful Hammam experience. Free parking (in our deal) and free breakfast too. The breakfast was amazing. Unlimited orange juice, cheese, eggs, bread, pancakes, Spanish omelette, amazing coffee, tea, I could go on for ever. Anything you could think of to eat for breakfast was amply provided. I highly recommend this hotel. I stayed here all throughout my 2 week trip. This by far was one of the best hotel experiences I had. Oh and by the way - the more you stay, the better the upgrades :)

Yelp
Very good hotel. Great breakfast place/ breakfast buffet. Great place to stay while in Portugal
