This is our first trip to Portugal. The highlight in this hotel was the service. These people are so great at the front desk, at breakfast, at the little bar. Ask for anything, a snack during at the bar and they go to the kitchen and prepare a sandwich or anything without excuses., ask for an umbrella and they will bring one for each of the persons in the group. Pamela was our hero at our stay, thanks. Location is good, but be aware that the whole city needs better signage for outsiders. Some streets are dark and during nigth so it is easy to get confused. Porto is kind of small compared to other european cities but has a lot to offer. The river Duoro area is amazing for great photos, listening to street musicians having a drink, taking a river cruise, or taking a stroll through a bridge like Luis I to Vila Nova de Gaia. At Gaia is where you can find all the Porto and wine cellars. In the night is the view from the second level of the bridge is magical, the lights, the boats anchored.

First there was no parking space and at the reception they even didn't help us on where to find a parking space. We arrived earlier than check-in time and staff even didn't look if the room was ready or not. Just told us check-in was at 2 that it, when other hotels were checking if we could get the room before. In the evening, we ordered two mojito that were so awful that we let the glass half full and left. We were also not able to connect to the Wi-Fi. And so and so. For a 4 stars hotel, the hotel might have the stars but nothing that is to be expected for a 4 stars hotel. Very disappointed...

Very good hotel. Professional and courteous service (e-mail contact before the visit👍). The rooms are comfortable (bed), clean and well-equipped. You can feel at ease and comfortable 😎. I recommend.

Service is not for a "4 star" hotel. No laundry service available. Shower is not closed and water spill in the floor. Clothes given the first day of our stay for washing, two days later not even the clothes were sent to the laundry, very irresponsible.

Hotel stay somewhat spoiled by large tour groups and only 1 elevator. Quite a long way to walk into town.

Typical of the Portuguese Hotels we have had on our Bunnik tour on the Portuguese leg. Stairs and no ramp to get suitcases into the hotel and a bit if a shortage of staff to help. No tea and coffee or free water in the room only one free plug on one side of a double bed. Our bathroom toiletries was a shower cap but there were squeeze bottles of shower gel, shampoo and bath gel attached to the shower. Only one glass in the room although we were in a room for couples; there were 2 small ones in the bathroom. The tiny glasses allowed you to have some water to brush your teeth so you don't bang your head on the overhead cupboard mirror which is totally unnecessary since it doesn't hold anything. The basin was so shallow that you dare not leave it running long. There was a bidet if you need one, otherwise it just takes up valuable bathroom realestate. One of the few hotels without a pool and reliable WiFi in our room. No news in English. but old movies overdubbed in Portuguese. I was told that they were working on upgrading their WiFi. On the plus side, the room was clean, breakfast was plentiful with a good range of food. Thr staff as helpful as as was possible. The area is good for access to art galleries and eateries.

Stayed in this hotel for 5 days and 4 nights. The room is clean but not very bright. You hear the TV and even talks from next room. Breakfast was ok but not a lot variety. What you need to recognize is to check the room rates. I payed more than 200 bugs for it and this it’s not worse.

A clean, well appointed hotel within walking distance of bars and restaurants, breakfast was excellent

Yelp
This is a great hotel, clean, friendly staff, excellent location, walking distance to center of city, secure inside parking and a great included breakfast. Excellent price!

Yelp
The hotel has issues which they need to address with urgency. The front desk is overwhelmed and has a hard time handling the simplest tasks and questions. Had an issue about the cancellation of one night made through Expedia and it took two phone calls and an hour of my time to resolve. Room cleaning crew is always behind with many issues with cleaning the room on time and thoroughly. Bathtub very slippery and water temperature of shower alternates from hot and cold constantly without prompting. Breakfast is good but pricey. Must mention that the bar service is excellent and Diego and Jasmin are exceptional. It's an expensive hotel for what you get.

Yelp
Louis R loves being pampered while traveling in Europe. Louis R only chills at high-end spots but will sacrifice uber-comfort ONLY to be proximal to authentic bars/restos or if he stays in a remodeled castle (like he did in Ireland, Scotland, Sweden, etc.). This spot had a modern, organized, clean suite with a large bed, a fridge, a safe, a huge closet and bathroom, which is not the norm for a European hotel. This spot has affable front desk personnel, who made it a quick check-in/check-out process. The turn-down service was precise. This spot had a daily breakfast full of options, buffet-style...which Louis R finds at most of the high-end hotels he stay at. This spot will be on Louis R's list of places to hit up again. All hail His Grace, Louis of House R, First of His Name, King of New York and New Jersey, Lord of the USA, and Protector of the Realm

Yelp
I picked this hotel sort of blindly, trusting some reviews I had read, but you really never know what to expect till you see for yourself. We opted to take the metro from the airport and walk. That's not what I'd recommend. It's a long walk on cobblestone streets and pulling luggage like that is annoying. I was concerned when we got to the hotel that we were in the middle of nowhere and this might have been a mistake. But i was wrong! It's fantastic!! Just around the corner and a short walk away is a beautiful plaza and pedestrian area with many restaurants and shops. In another direction and 10 minute walk is an even bigger concentration of great places, including Ze Bota (my favorite meal during our entire trip!). You really don't need the metro (which isn't that extensive in Porto) and walking is the way to go. We walked to the Douro river and downtown in just minutes (all downhill!) and to the port houses across the river to sample a considerable amount of port wine. Loved it!! The hotel is very well done and the room was superb. Beautiful furnishings, comfy bed, great staff who were incredibly helpful, good breakfast, clean...everything you'd want! Loved this place!! And surprisingly inexpensive! If I am able to get back to Porto (and I hope I do), I'm staying here again!! Highly recommended!

Yelp
So traveling through Portugal and Spain (December 2017), we were looking for a reliable, high quality, cost effect accommodation solution. Once we passed through Lisbon and Seville, we found Eurostars in Cordoba. Pulled up the car and complimentary valet with parking. Super modern suites with everything you can imagine. King sized bed, fridge, safe, spacious closets and a spotless room situated in a large open foyer (which in the summertime would be bustling). Super friendly and helpful staff who helped me book a wonderful Hammam experience. Free parking (in our deal) and free breakfast too. The breakfast was amazing. Unlimited orange juice, cheese, eggs, bread, pancakes, Spanish omelette, amazing coffee, tea, I could go on for ever. Anything you could think of to eat for breakfast was amply provided. I highly recommend this hotel. I stayed here all throughout my 2 week trip. This by far was one of the best hotel experiences I had. Oh and by the way - the more you stay, the better the upgrades :)

Yelp
Very good hotel. Great breakfast place/ breakfast buffet. Great place to stay while in Portugal
