Eurostars Grand Central (Munich, Bavaria) 3 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Some days only the most vivid purple will do — so goes the approach to design at Eurostars Grand Central. We heartily agree: some days, as when you’re busy with nonstop meetings in one of Europe’s industrial capitals, you need to know there’s no beige awaiting you, but rather a downy red throw and vibrant, orange-accented bathroom." - Tablet Hotels

Good stay for 2 nights. Room was clean and spacious enough. Friendly staff throughout. Room was a bit hot, and with the AC on, too noisy. But apart from that, had a good couple of nights and no real complaints. A bit further from the station than expected, looked closed on maps. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, and the staff were kind and polite. Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The only suggestion would be to add a few extra amenities in the room to make it even more convenient. Otherwise, it was a nice and restful experience.

Paid for a triple room. Basically just a double with a twin bed in the same room. No fridge. The card reader wasn't working so had to wait a while to get room keys. The pool is down for the week. The hotel was very clean and it was easy to park the car.

Great hotel. The rooms were well apointed. And very quite. Even though we are on a main street, we were never bothered by street noise.|The staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful.|And the breakfast buffet was fantastic. Everything you could want.|I would definitely recommend this hotel.

On the day of check-out on June 28th, 2025, I was on my way in a taxi to the airport already, when I realised I had left 3 pieces of clothing in my room's wardrobe. A friend of mine helped me to go to the reception front desk, and was greeted by Mendes, who kindly coordinated with Housekeeping Supervisor Michaela, who found the missing items of clothing.||I would like to express my gratitude to Mendes and Michaela and their team for helping me recover these items, which was much appreciated.||The hotel stay itself was very pleasant, with large, clean, comfortable rooms, and spacious bathrooms. Facilities were new and well-appointed. Air conditioning was good and not noisy. Room was quiet despite facing the road.

When I evaluate a hotel, I focus on three things: 1.Cleanliness 2.Comfort of the bed 3.Peace and quiet Cleanliness was very good. Bed comfort was okay. Quietness was a disaster — we constantly heard a pump switching on and off behind the wall of our room (502). We reported this issue on three separate occasions, but the only solution came 16 hours later: a move to room 511, which is located directly in front of the elevator and was even noisier, especially during morning check-outs. Unfortunately, we won't be returning to this hotel.

We stayed here 4 nights end of March in this hotel. The hotel is modern and the staff is friendly, quick and very supportive. The bar offers good cocktails (above 12€). The gym is ok as well the Sauna and pool. The breakfast is offering a lot (high quality) but it was everyday the same. I personally don't need a huge assortment, a smaller would work as well as long there is some variations from day to day. I found it a bit annoying that the buffet was already cleared at 10:15, although breakfast should be available until 10:30. This makes it uncomfortable in the dining room (noisy) and not all dishes are available until 10:30. There is definitely room for improvement here. The first room we got was smelly (smoke) and we could immediately change on the same floor to a better room. The hotel is located close to the inner city of München and very close to tram station (16/17). Having 2 tram lines just in front of the hotel is a big plus. The room was big as well as the bathroom. The interior design is modern with high quality. I liked that the restroom was actually separated from the bathroom. Even the hotel is close to a busy street the isolation of the windows are extremely good 👍 The mattresses unfortunately was not comfortable. Overall a good experience 👍

I am not sure what to say, the rooms were fine, but you always have to engage with the front desk, they have wifi, but the front desk has to give you a paper with the wifi password written on it when you ask, you are not given one when you check in and you don't have it in your room. Same goes for slippers and a lot of other stuff... I was expecting more...

Yelp
We came for Oktoberfest and this hotel was perfectly positioned near the train station and the fairgrounds. Taking the train in from the airport, it was only a 5 minute walk. They have a bar and restaurant inside and a pool, sauna and gym as well! You can add the mini bar to your reservation at a decent price too! All of the staff was very hospitable! Don't be alarmed when you can't find an iron in room; they're available at the front desk. We'll be back next year and will definitely book again!

Yelp
Through Priceline I just booked a 700+ sq ft room that can sleep up to 3 people. After they processed the payment the confirm downgraded my room to a double that was 300+ sq ft for the same price. I immediately made Priceline aware which then made the hotel aware. The hotel was not willing to put me in the room type I paid for and refused to refund my money. Priceline stated there was nothing they can do. I literally called them within 3 minutes of booking and my stay isn't for close to a month from now.

Yelp
See a lot of higher star ratings however I just can't justify it. Staff is great but the property is tired. Terrible internet service, bed is on old metal spring frame that squeaks with every move, chairs are worn through and the tv is not much bigger than an ipad (which made watching ten world cup all but impossible). It really does seem that this property is in need of a makeover.

Yelp
This hotel puts that myth that all somewhat reasonable European hotels are tiny and not awesome. This place was modern, super close to the central train station as well as a great subway stop and not too far of a walk to the old city center. Let's get the cons out of the way. Although the breakfast buffet didn't lack food variety, those options weren't the best quality. I mean, if it's free, have at it, but it wasn't included in our stay and the 12-15 euros is definitely not worth it. The gym was teeny with only one treadmill, one elliptical and 3 sets of weights. I was the only one using it at the time, but if someone else happened to saunter in, it would have been a nightmare. The sauna and indoor pool however looked pretty baller. For those who aren't that much into exploring, there really wasn't much restaurant/bar wise super close. There was one very large and awesome beer garden a few blocks/.5 miles away, but other than that nothing to speak of that I at least noticed. Now, onto the pros. The internet was lightning fast and free. The free green apples at the front desk were delicious. The bed was super large and very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with great water pressure and a towel warmer. The large flat screen tv was nice, though the only stations I could understand consisted of CNN and the BBC, so I caught up on my world news. The staff was super professional and knew English well which is super helpful to this non German speaking Fräulein. Definitely a great stay in Munich if you don't mind not staying in the center city.

Yelp
Had a great stay at Eurostars. Clean and modern room, large and comfortable bed, great service, no issues at all. Excellent value for the money. For tourists, I'd just point out that there is not a lot in the immediate area except the (excellent!) Augustiner Keller. The Hauptbahnhof is a few hundred yards away and it's a bit of a walk to get to the Altstadt. Streetcars are available You can stay closer to the attractions, but I thought the trade off for a larger, nicer, cheaper room at Eurostars was well worth it. YMMV.

Yelp
Very modern and confortable hotel, near to the city center in Munich! The rooms were big and bright, the beds were amazing and the bathroom was great. Complete breakfast! The best of it was the staff, both at the restaurant and the reception. Special mention to Liza, the lovely receptionist who brought light to us everytime we met her !! :) Best wishes and thank you!

Yelp
Not bad at all, didn't spend much time here, as my crew and I were more interested in getting out to enjoy Octoberfest. But the staff were very pleasant, the price was very reasonable, the locations was just right and the continental breakfast was very very nice !
