One of the best hotels I've ever been in terms of quality of service and courtesy. The first time I found the soda bed prepared for the third guest with all the accessories, towels and so on... The situation is gorgeous. Unfortunately we didn't have a view on the marina but we enjoyed walking nearby. We will be back again !

Google
The hotel is superficially nice, shiny, new. However the service was terrible. We had booked 2 adjoining suites well (months) in advance. On check in day, low and behold one of the connecting suites was given to another guest! The replacement room was much smaller and at first they refused to give us a discount! It took some haggling over a few days until they finally gave us the discount. They gave us drink tickets to use at the hotel. Of course the employees at the bar had no idea what to do with these tickets, one even refused to honour them. It has direct transportation to the cruise terminal, which is the only reason we stayed here. I'm shocked a member of the Spanish Royal Family stayed here. There must be better options available! If not, well, that speaks volumes about the country of Spain

Excellent views and had a lovely stay. Honestly I seen a couple of bad reviews about employees during check in and it almost turned me away, but I must say not true at all. Marian was such a delight, she was so friendly, she went over and beyond to help us and made us feel comfortable. We will definitely be back to stay here in October and mainly because of the customer service. Thanks Marian.

This hotel was amazing!! The location and the views were perfect. My favorite thing of all though is that the staff was incredible! Davide at the bar/restaurant provided the best service I’ve ever had. In addition, Tommy from the valet was so sweet. He was super helpful with our bags and parking. He even provided good recommendations for us to take in the city. Lastly, Alex and Maria at the front desk were very friendly and provided exceptional service. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in Barcelona.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights. It was one of the best hotels I have experienced. The location is excellent — it’s close to entertainment centers and not far from La Rambla, where you can enjoy a wide variety of foods. The hotel breakfast is very complete, offering a good selection of hot and cold items. If you get a room with a sea view, the scenery is truly delightful. The rooms are fairly spacious and have nice balconies, which is especially convenient if you smoke. The hotel staff were extremely kind and helpful, responding to requests very quickly. The hotel is very quiet and peaceful. Overall, this hotel will offer you a wonderful stay in Barcelona.

Google
Wow what a great hotel! All of the staff are very friendly. The room was spacious and clean, and the lobby was beautiful too. It is a short walk to las ramblas and if you decide to get a ticket to the hop on hop off bus it picks up basically right out front. We really enjoyed the rooftop- although it was too soon for the pool to be open, the view of the city was as good as any. Would definitely recommend!

Google
I booked here because it came up as a 5-star hotel. It falls short of being 5 5-star for sure. A 5-star would have washcloths and updated furniture and certainly not the size pool it has with no bar or service available. If you're looking for 3.5-4 then this is your place, and the breakfast buffet was good and the area is a little less busy, but if you truly want a 5-star then go to the W hotel, which is where I'm moving to.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Eurostars Hotel in Barcelona, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional — especially thanks to Alex at the front desk. Alex greeted me with genuine warmth and professionalism. After a long journey, his friendly smile and helpful attitude made me feel immediately welcome. He handled my check-in efficiently and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. He even offered great local recommendations, which turned out to be some of the highlights of my trip! The hotel itself is beautiful — modern, clean, and perfectly located. The room was stylish and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. But honestly, it’s the people like Alex who make a place truly memorable. Big thanks to the Eurostars team, and especially to Alex, for making my stay in Barcelona such a great one. I’ll definitely be coming back

Yelp
Excellent hotel in Barcelona and great location. I was able to get an electric bike and ride all around from this hotel. The restaurant has some really good food. Breakfast was very nice and had everything you could want in a morning meal. There is also a nice coffee shop right outside. Really good coffee. In all, the service was great. The rooms were nice. The beds were comfy. The food was good. The location was ideal. Great for a precruise hotel stay.

Yelp
Debating whether or not to give 2 or 3 . I gave 3 for the manager. He really tried to make things better! Also not sure whether to say we were here on business or vacation. I was there on vacation, but my husband was there on business. Because he was there on business, his company had 15 rooms reserved in the hotel! Overall, the hotel is beautiful! Nicely decorated, marble everywhere, velvet sofas and chairs everywhere, great views from everywhere. We were there for four (4) nights (Monday through Friday). We had a few problems. One, I really appreciate it when a hotel has a magnified mirror in the room. If you wear glasses it's impossible to do your makeup with your glasses on, and without your glasses you can't see in order to be able to do your makeup. So, I was very happy to see that the room had a magnified mirror in the bathroom. However, it was loose, so it just hung down and faced the floor. So, I had to try to hold it up with one hand and do my makeup one handed. I went by the desk at night and asked the young lady behind the desk if she could send someone to fix it. The next morning, as I was going out I went by the desk and again asked that they please have someone come fix it. That evening as I returned I went by the desk and asked if it had been fixed. The man at the desk called maintenance and asked if it had been fixed and they said it had been. I go up to the room to get ready for the night, and it had not been. I went down and asked for a manager and he came and immediately had someone come and fix it. That is just a small problem! It wouldn't affect anyone else who isn't blind, like me, without their glasses. What was a much bigger problem was the food/service. On Tuesday 8 of us went to the restaurant, Aire de Mar Bistro. We ordered appetizers, croquettes and the hamon Iberia with bread. We also ordered pizza, a chicken ceasar salad, steak, grilled octopus, the scallops, the Hake fish, a burger and more! Lots of drinks too. The service was horrible! There was only one other table in the restaurant and they had their own waitress. Our waitress had us waiting SO LONG for our food! We arrived at 1:45pm and had ordered by 2. It was 2:45 before our food started to arrive. Everything started arriving at the same time. The croquettes came out COLD! Everyone's food came out at different times. And every single dish was COLD! I could tell as soon as I saw my food that it was cold and had been sitting somewhere for a long time. At this point we had been eating out 3 meals a day for 10 days and this was one of the more expensive meals we had ordered. My cold Hake and clams were €38. We did not tell the waitress as everyone had work to do and had been waiting for so long that it didn't matter. We couldn't wait for her to reheat it or remake it. But it was inexcusable. Clearly she had left it sitting for at least 15-30 minutes. Our bill was about €460. The last issue I had was with the breakfast buffet. We had just come from another hotel in Fira area of Barcelona and this one did not compare to the other. It was basically the same but no omelette bar, no avocado, and the eggs were from a mix. Sometimes they were really runny. It was too cold for us to use the pool, but it should be heated- especially since it's SO SMALL. So, after discussing it as a company, they will not be staying at the Eurostar again. It's supposed to be a GL 5 Star rated hotel. I guess our expectations were pretty high. Again, the manager was super nice! Very helpful, and really tried to make everything right! But, even as we were leaving he saw one of his employees go to get our bags, get the wrong ones, and pass us to take them and put them in a taxi. The employee should have confirmed that they were our bags. He read the ticket wrong. So, the manager was very apologetic, but saw firsthand how his employees are a little careless. It is a great location. We walked to a lot of places. Restaurants, museums, the beach, bars and clubs, tourist attractions, etc.

Yelp
Location: The hotel's prime location is undoubtedly one of its best features. Nestled in a vibrant area, it provides easy access to nearby attractions, making it an ideal choice for tourists. Accommodation: We stayed in one of the suites, which was impressively spacious. However, the experience was marred by the lack of a good view and the absence of patio furniture, which would have been a nice addition for enjoying the outdoors. Decor: The hotel decor is a bit of a letdown, feeling rather outdated. The presence of fake flowers in the room and hallways detracted from the overall ambiance and gave it a somewhat tacky feel. Gym: The gym facilities were disappointing. It was quite small, and several weights were missing. Additionally, a portion of the mirror was broken, complicating the process of lifting weights, especially with other guests moving around. Pool: On a positive note, the rooftop pool was a highlight. It offered a stunning view and a lively atmosphere with a DJ playing music throughout the day. It was a great spot to relax and enjoy the city's sights from above. Breakfast:* The complimentary breakfast exceeded expectations. There was an extensive selection of tapas, fresh fruit, bread, and beverages, making it a delightful start to the day. Staff: The staff were excellent--attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist. Their service significantly enhanced our overall experience. Overall: While the hotel boasts a fantastic location and some standout amenities like the rooftop pool and excellent breakfast, it falls short in other areas such as decor and gym facilities. With some updates and improvements, it has the potential to offer a much more satisfying stay.

Yelp
"5 star"? Nope. Not sure how such ratings are acquired. They really fail at the little things. Very little toilet paper and small cheap rolls. No tissue paper for your nose. None. Really odd. Few and hard to access outlets for charging. Most of our devices were on the floor. Really outdated. WiFi was inconsistent. The hotel is literally in the port. It looks nice but you might not realize how loud those cruise liners can get. They seem to "beep" when backing up. The worst problem was we ordered a bottle of wine with our visit to be delivered to the room prior to the trip. They seemed to forget. We reminded them for three days in a row. They failed to deliver every day. We paid for it and we had to remind them?!? They never delivered and finally agreed to a refund after refusing. Still waiting for the money. Positives included good breakfast. 10-minute walk to town. Lots of taxis there, mostly.

Yelp
I made the mistake to stay at this hotel. I traveled alone and I took a suite for 4 nights & paid about $1500. The coffee machine & safe didn't work. Sliders to the balcony did not lock. Some make up and a high end hair accessory disappeared. The cleaning of this hotel is subpar. But, I had to stay an add'l night. I advised the reception the evening prior. The next morning an employee aggressively knocked on my door, rushing me to check out. I told her that I was staying another night. 20 minutes later as I was getting dressed I heard a man in my room saying hello. It was an employee who had not knocked, entered my room while I was half dressed. I advised reception immediately. I was shaken up and anxious and violated. They offered me 20% off my last night, $60. They waived my room service and my minibar which equated to maybe $60. Sent me 4 chocolate strawberries. To them this was enough. I sent an email to corporate to seek a better solution. They are not amenable. Avoid this hotel at all costs. You are not safe in your room.

Yelp
Stayed here with my family before a cruise. Perfect for a pre or post cruise night. It is not a resort or multi-day hotel. The lobby bar is just OK. The restaurants are not operational. The room were spacious and well positioned.

Yelp
First, I've stayed here many times so I was surprised when I checked in this time, I was given the wrong room. When I went to Luis and told him this wasn't the room I purchased, he said they gave me a twin because I didn't choose. When, I showed him my confirmation which clearly stated "superior king bed". He again looked at me and lied. Then I showed him a photo and layout of the room I purchased. He again looked me in the face and lied and said that the photos were from a year ago and that they didn't have that room. I told him I was here 8 months ago, and I paid and purchased the same room. He again, looked me in the face and lied and said the rooms change every month. Again, I went online to show him the room and layout and said that isn't true because why would this company put photos on the room layout in choosing a room if they didn't exist as that would be fraudulent, and he lied again and said it changes every month. Then I explain to him that I chose this room specifically because it contains a bath tub and I ran a half marathon and I needed this room to soak my legs in the bath tub. He again, looked me in the face and lied by saying "none of the rooms have bath tubs and never had bath tubs in the rooms". I told him that it was false as I had this room 4 or 5 times and always ordered this room and on each occasion, it contained a bath tub. He said I was mistaken. I asked for a refund so that I could check into the W hotel as I called and the W informed me that they had rooms, and he said I couldn't have a refund because it was prepaid. So, I said "I'm suppose stay in the room you provided which is inferior to the room I paid for?", and he said yes, and he wouldn't refund me and to speak to the day head manager who comes in at 9am. Since it was late (close to 10 pm), have been traveling all day and exhausted, we slept there that night. The next morning around 9:15 am, I went and spoke the the day manager, he looked at my confirmation number and immediately said "You're correct, and they gave you the wrong room and you should be in another room (which is the room I order, purchased and was expecting), and immediately changed the room and had someone to come up to get our belongings to move me to the correct room. I hate that Luis, the evening manager, insisted in not giving me the correct room and lying to my face several times regarding the room. So, if you do not care if they give you a lesser room that you paid for, then stay here, but if staying in a room layout that you chose and paid for, then I suggests staying somewhere else like the W or speak to Ricardo or Manual.

Yelp
It's a nice hotel and not to be a snotty American. Seriously though for a hotel like this. It should be better in its services. The room is extremely nice and are big. I could hear my neighbors easy and my neighbor could hear me walking around and I had socks on. The buffet is probably 5 stars. It is that good. I'd stay here just for the buffet.

Yelp
Booked the last two nights of my trip here for the proximity and luxury. Very disappointed. This is essentially having a hotel in a corporate park. It is a long pier walk away from anything and the views are only okay from one side of the building. The pool is deceptively photographed and is teeny tiny. The food tastes as if it were reheated and the drinks were nothing special. The main reason I booked this room was for the jetted tub to relax on the last nights. They were advertised, but ALL of them have been taken out of commission. Except, they arent removed so they taunt you. THere are even instructions on how to turn it on, but no button anymore. The concierge laughed when I asked how to turn it out and then said "oh those leaked so we took them all away." Thanks a lot! So, on top of it all the 24 hour room service or call-a-conceirge apparently does not mean 11pm-1am as we called for pillows and then no one came. So we called back and no one picked up. For hours. It just kept on ringing. So then we couldnt even ask what time the rooftop wedding would finally stop because at 12:30 we could still hear the music. Overall, way overpriced for what you get and where you get it. Book a boutique hotel in the gothic quarter for better results

Yelp
I rated this compared to their claimed 5 star rating. I ryes it low because 1.empty bottle on floor when I checked in, 2. One sink wouldn't drain.2. Shower door won6 completely close.w. Front desk NEVER seems to answer, need to actually go in person if a simple question 4. There is NO way to buy any toiletries anywhere near the hotel. 1/2 mile walk..I've never stayed in a hotel where you couldn't buy a tube of toothpaste if you forgot it.

Lisa E.

Yelp
Be warned and don't trust these people. They refuse to give refunds during Covid. What kind of person does that? We are from another country and cannot fly and all they would offer is a voucher that can only be used in the next year. With owners like that I am sure they don't deserve our business.

Yelp
Decent place to stay but a pricey for what it's worth. The rooms are in average condition and staff completed their work but didn't seem experienced. When I checked in there were a few irate customers at the desk because they weren't getting the service they requested.

Yelp
After a terrible hotel experience in Rome a few years back, my husband and I found shelter at a Eurostars hotel and told ourselves we would only stay at those chains whenever traveling Europe. Total exaggeration, but it's nice to know we can count on them when we can't find other affordable accommodations. This past Thanksgiving, we planned to visit Barcelona again and decided to stay at a Eurostars hotel. I'm not going to lie. We literally chose this place because it was decently affordable ($160/night) and it had a jetted tub. It definitely wasn't as amazing as our Rome experience, but not terrible either. Our flight landed at 10pm and trying to compromise with my husband (I wanted to take a taxi), we decided to take one of the hotel's transportation recommendations on their site - Aerobus to metro station, then walk to the hotel. I would not recommend this option. The metro stop isn't even the closest one to the hotel and it has you walking through a shady part of Barcelona. I'm sure it was fine, but not really what I wanted to be doing at 10:30pm with three suitcases (we don't normally pack that much, but had a luggage malfunction in another city). The hotel itself is down a LONG pier which is kind of annoying when you really just want to get to your room already. There's a small park-ish type of area between the main roundabout and the hotel where there were a few homeless people sleeping so again, not ideal late at night. The staff was very nice and hospitable throughout our entire stay. We decided to order room service since we were too tired to head out for food (especially after the walk we took). Prices weren't as crazy, to us at least, like other reviewers have mentioned. Some menu items, I guess, but we ordered two pasta dishes. They were good, but actually not what we ordered. We wanted tagliatelle and got penne. In terms of the room itself... it was nice. To the naked eye, it looked clean, but we've all seen those horror stories of how hotels don't always change the sheets between guests or clean the cups by the sink. If I think about it too much, I'd be bringing my own bedding everywhere I go so instead I just try to ignore it and trust that I can wash the germs away. There were definitely a few small stains on our bedding that I didn't notice until the next day. Kinda gross, but again, I tried not let it get to me. Also, like I mentioned before I chose this place because it had a jetted tub, so you'll understand my disappointment when we turned it on and noticed small particles of dirt floating around. We assumed it came from the jets not being cleaned often.

Yelp
By the small cruise terminals. Nice and clean room. Top roof of the hotel is nice to look out at the marina. They have a very tiny pool not for swim though probably for soaking but most of the people just lying in the sun also a bar on the roof top. If you taking a cruise it's very convenience for the price I think it's a little bit pricey.

Yelp
Location: I think it is in a great location, just at the end of Les Ramblas. Since you are on the pier, you have lots of room, but just a few blocks from the action. The Gondola is basically going right over you. They have electric bicycles that you can rent to explore, which is a nice option to get to Barceloneta. The hotel have nice sized rooms that are elegant and comfortable. My king bed had a nice sized desk to work from, and two reclining-type chairs with lots of room to maneuver. My room overlooked the water, looking out toward the nice restaurants on Rambla de Mar. Quiet ambiance until about 8am (a large military looking boat was hosting a field trip for children). Jacuzzi tub with shower and double sinks. They provide full toiletries (shaving kit, toothbrush kit, lotion, etc.). Rooftop: The 8th floor has the gym/fitness center (nice gym with many weights and machines). It also has a huge rooftop terrace area that you can view the whole Barcelona area. I actually went to the weight room at 2:30am and slid through the door onto the rooftop terrace (size is roughly 60 meters by 10 meters) to relax in a lounge chair and decompress / meditate (love these type of experiences). The pool is so tiny that I put my hand in the water to see if it was "HOT" (smaller than a jacuzzi in Las Vegas). Lots of lounge chairs on the upstairs terrace. Price was 300 Euros per night, when I was visiting. The W in Barcelona (disclosure, I haven't stayed at the "W", though I have been to an event inside the W) seems like the nice hotel right on the beach (and the nice restaurants and action there), but it is far from Les Ramblas action. I would say that Eurostars Grand Marina is the hotel to stay in if you want the location near Les Ramblas. The Rennaisance (great rooftop bar/pool; try the outdoor stairs that hover over "nothing" but air) is a really cool hotel too, but seems away from the action.

Yelp
My husband and I recently stayed here for a couple of days before our honeymoon cruise, and it was such a great experience, we joked that we felt like the Beverly Hillbillies. We were upgraded from a premier room to a marina suite and were greeted with two full walls of windows, an enormous bathroom, and even a living room. Everything is tastefully decorated and the staff is very nice and polite. And with the jet lag, we woke up the second night at 3am, wide awake and starving, so we ordered room service. That 3am, random meal was amazing, the best room service I've ever had. The reason for four instead of five stars is the beds. Comfort is not really a European concept, and nowhere does that show more than in their rock hard beds. Seriously, 2x4s have more give to them. But it isn't the Grand Marina, it's a cultural thing.

Yelp
I was going to give this hotel a four star review until I stayed at the W Barcelona! Now, it has earned its five star review. We checked in the night before we were leaving for a cruise. We were checked in quickly and everyone who work there was really nice! They got us checked in quickly and up to our room which was fantastic. It had a Jacuzzi tub, great amenities, and a view of the Christopher Columbus statue. We went upstairs to the rooftop bar and had a drink. That was fabulous! A great way to start a vacation. After the drink, we went out to dinner. We ate in the hotel restaurant and I had fantastic udon noodles with vegetables and my boyfriend had a selection of tapas. It was excellent! Though it was a little pricey, what do you expect from a hotel so close to Las Ramblas and the cruise port?? We didn't eat breakfast there. Instead we headed out to Las Ramblas and we pick food up there. Everything was just perfect at this hotel. The bed was comfortable, the room was normal, and there were no surprises like at the W. You can read my review of the W for details. They even gave us an extra hour until 1 o'clock, for check out so we could check out the city. I would definitely stay at this hotel again anytime I'm in Barcelona.

Yelp
Just came back from our Barcelona vacation & we stayed at the Eurostars Grand Marina for 7 days. Cons: The first day was awful. We got there before 3pm check in & because we were a big group, they wouldn't cut us a break & give us our rooms early even though they had available rooms. We had just traveled 17 hours to get there so we were exhausted, they knew, & didn't care. It said a lot about their customer service. The waiters at the hotel were really snooty. No customer service training there either. Pros: Great view of the ocean on my 6th floor room. Food from the restaurant was great & the bar staff was great too! The hop on/hop off shuttle stop is in front of the hotel & you're right next to the mall & other fun tourist spots so the location is great! We also got free wifi, so that's a big perk if you don't have international plans on your phones.

Yelp
I stayed here for 6 nights in May 2013. Stayed on the 7th floor with great views of the sea & the city. Hotel is located near the end of Las Ramblas. It is set back a bit making it difficult for quick access to the city. About a 15 min walk to nearest Metro. Room was very spacious, quiet, & clean. Prices for coffee, water, soda were very high at hotel bars but restaurants under & behind the hotel were convenient. WI-fi worked well. Good hotel for business but a bit removed from the city. Front desk staff professional, helpful, & bilingual.

Yelp
Not my cup of tea. Too worldwide hotel. Too anonymous. May be' good if you here just for work. No choice to park yourself, 25€. Better if you choose other place.

Qype User (clashc…)

Yelp
Possibly the most important factor when choosing a hotel is the location. Situated in the port, the Grand Marina is a little off-centre, but not too bad. It's an easy walk to the Ramblas (literally minutes), and from there you MUST check out the La Boqueria fresh food market http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Boqueria But back to the hotel. It's clean, well laid-out (very nice wide hallways), and has great facilities (the gym is fantastic). The food was nice too, from the few room service meals I ordered. One thing did irritate me about the hotel, however. I received a wake-up call (which I did not order) at 6:20 one morning, and upon drowsily asking "who is this?", they hung up on me. I can only assume it was the hotel reception, because they then phoned again, and when I (more alert now) asked who it was, they hung up on me again. Five minutes later, a knock at my door shouting "wake-up call!" actually got me out of bed, where I peevily informed the hotel employee that I didn't order a wake-up call. The poor sod with a similar-sounding hotel room number that slumbered on, they'll never know. Nicer, more central hotels exist in Barcelona, but if you're looking for accommodation near the harbour and beach, the Grand Marina is perfect. Just make sure you set a back-up alarm yourself when ordering a wake-up call...

Yelp
This hotel has been good. Very clean and nice service. However, the bar at the pool is ridiculously expensive. We had to wait for our check in so we went to pool and ordered a mojito to learn it was 14 euro per drink and our meal was the same price. The pool Area is also very small so get there early if You want to lay out.

Yelp
This place is amazing!! 5 stars all the way! Bed is super comfy, you can request any type of pillow possible, and the staff is super friendly and helpful!! We will come back here next time we are in Barcelona!!

Yelp
Horrible experience. There's no way this is a 4 or 5 star hotel. There is no lobby to speak of just a check in desk. The hallways are so dark you need a flash light. My phone in my room didn't work so I had to use my cell to call the front desk because my blinds would not close. Once I voiced my concern i was told I'm just the bell boy you can try back another time or talk to management tomorrow. Unacceptable. Thank god it's only one night

Yelp
I wouldn't ever stay here again. Location: it's on a weird pier, far, far away from anything. Service: we bought 2 rooms for kids and parents with plenty of time. They put the two rooms on different floors. Yeah. Cost: The room was expensive, the breakfast was crazy expensive. Environment: Weird euro-traveler nothingness. No local feel and no comforts of home. With so many great places in Barcelona to stay, why waist your time hanging out with all the cruise ship people on a pier far away from fun things to do?

MJ S.

Yelp
Gorgeous hotel. Perfect accommodations. We stayed here for 2 nights after our original hotel booking (also a Eurostars hotel) ran out of rooms (how does that happen with a reservation?!) and set us up in this 5-star beauty. The location is actually kind of fun - it's at the very end of Las Ramblas. So, absolutely fantastic location for the mornings but not so great when it's 2am and you're walking back to your hotel. That said, the amenities are great. It's top-notch. Very comfy bed, awesome bathtub, huge bathroom, and very spacious overall. The view was nice and the staff was friendly. I would recommend. I believe rack prices are quite expensive, but if you're looking to splurge a bit, this would be a good one. Just heed the warning about the nighttime area. I would advise taking a cab back to the hotel (not walking) if you are out super late. But other than that, I would give this place a big thumbs up.

Yelp
This place is very upmarket and the staff are very helpful. The beds are very comfortable and lots of blankets. Its nicely situated next to the marina where luxury ships arrive, makes the views interesting.

Yelp
If I could give this hotel 0 stars, I would. My check-in experience spanned from 10am-5pm. The front desk service is one of the slowest, dysfunctional, inefficient check-in services I have ever experienced. After taking a red eye flight from the US, we arrived at the hotel. Although we were told we'd be checked in within 20 min, we ended up waiting 5 hours for them to "prepare our room". Not only was our card inactive when we initially tried to swipe in (which led to more unwanted drawn out interactions with the front desk aka 35 minutes of our time to simply activate our card), but our room for 3 people was two twin beds squished together. We had to call again and wait a few more hours for room service to fulfill what we had initially paid for. Talking to the manager was akin to talking to an apologizing brick wall, one laden with excuses and vapid justifications for her staff's incompetencies. All in all, this place has a beautiful view and facilities, but the staff and employees here are not competent at the 5-Star hotel level. If you are looking for a hotel that prioritizes service and customer satisfaction, look elsewhere.

Yelp
Nice rooms and good views but terrible service. We waited several hours to check into our room after being told multiple times that it would only be a 5-10 minute wait. Every half hour or so they would say only 5-10 more minutes. There was a huge crowd of people trying to check into their rooms and the staff at reception was completely confused and didn't know which rooms were available or when they would become available.

Yelp
Hotel in Barcelona is very well situated. The hotel has several bars and shops. The hotel is situated in a quiet area. The hotel has very good facilities. They offer two swimming pools, spa and sauna, massage. The hotel overlooks the sandy dony and lift, view from the hotel I liked. Our room was modern, the room we had the wifi conections. The room is air-conditioned and we had even safe for jewelry and all were included the hotel. The hotel has tennis courts, which I use every day. This Barcelona hotel is really excellent. And to reserve it for next year.
