The Langford Hotel (Miami, Florida) 2 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"No one blames you for wanting to stay in South Beach. There’s the sand and sun, the Art Deco charm, the oceanfront bike path, the monster-sized mojitos by the infinity pool. Downtown Miami, in contrast, is of secondary appeal, at least as far as most travelers are concerned. But the financial district is slowly but surely becoming more of a cultural draw. A new boutique hotel, the Langford, is helping to change the neighborhood’s image, opening its doors to an enclave of historic character." - Tablet Hotels

This hotel was GREAT and so accommodating. We had a red eye flight and that landed at 6am. We were so tired and they let us check in at 7am at no extra cost, allowing us to get a much needed nap. The place was clean/modern and the customer service was excellent. Would recommend to anybody!

We hosted an international women's retreat and conference in Miami, and Eurostar Langford was our hotel choice for our team, guests, and our venue for 2-day mastermind. It was the perfect choice, thanks to the attentive and friendly staff who helped us with room changes (for a bigger room to share), meeting room set-up, and provided daily attention and support. The hotel was lovely, well taken care of. The housekeeping staff was very particular, ensuring the rooms were not only cleaned but also checked by the housekeeping manager before we were allowed in, as we were checking in early. The bell staff were always at hand to support us with luggage as we had guests arrive and depart. What stood out was the hotel manager; he was fantastic and always willing to go beyond what was expected. Even though the hotel we stayed at was during marathon week, which was incredibly busy, he remained exceptional. Every morning, we were greeted by a fantastic team at the restaurant that not only looked authentic but also served a delicious breakfast. The hotel truly lives up to its name because the team behind it is an international team working there who truly understand fantastic customer service. Thank you for being amazing and truly making our Miami experience unforgettable!

Google
Great service. Nice rooms. Love the bathroom & shower style! I gave 3/5 stars for Location only due to the construction nearby. Not only was their next door neighbor blocking the sidewalk along with whatever construction work they were doing (which leaked into the front of Eurostars Langford Hotels entrance so we had to backtrack around to enter 🫠) , but also (& mainly) a few blocks down, across the road, had major ongoing construction work..day and night. Other than that the location seemed fine, and convenient enough to walk for shopping & food.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Eurostars Langford in Miami for 15 days, and I can honestly say it was a wonderful experience. The cleanliness of the hotel was absolutely impeccable, earning a solid five-star rating. Every corner of the hotel was spotless, and the attention to detail was evident. The staff was truly exceptional — warm, friendly, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable, and I truly felt like a valued guest. The rooms were comfortable, though not extraordinary, but they provided everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The location of the hotel is fantastic, perfectly situated to explore all that Miami has to offer, with easy access to major attractions and vibrant areas. Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend the Eurostars Langford to anyone visiting Miami. I will definitely consider staying there again during my next trip to Miami.!

We visited Miami on a weekend trip and this hotel offered a nice room, comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. We had a fridge in our room but everything inside was payable. Our room had a great view. The staff were friendly and helpful with information. The hotel offers breakfast every morning which was great. They had a gym in side a lobby for all. The front view of the hotel was undergoing renovations and the hotel doesn’t have a good money value.

My experience to this hotel was great nothing to complain about it the staff was amazing they are so professional but the only thing for the love of Jesus why they don’t put? A microwave in each room or even In the hallway or in the lobby to serve all guests my experience about the microwave was horrible is the only complaint about this place I checked in by 6 pm so I was late 2 am looking for a microwave to heat a food nothing the guy in the front desk said I gotta wait breakfast time to use the microwave really? In 2025? In when I go back in the front desk’s in the morning by 9 am I find another he sent me outside to go use microwave to a different place come on now I’m paying for staying at your hotel I don’t need to go to another place asking for a favor I hope they understand my comment I trying not to be rude.and I didn’t like the experience with the homeless people surrounding me I feel like I’m not completely safe but I think is not in the company it is the hotel location

Stayed here due to its proximity to a conference I was attending. It was $240/night which was much cheaper than around which is why I chose it. It was good value given that it was cheaper. The room was small but the bed and bedding was comfortable. Bathroom was a good size and the room was clean. The staff were friendly. The TV broke twice during my 3 night stay but staff came quickly to fix it. Gym was small. There aren't really amenities. I would stay here again if I was solo/business traveling and not interested in hotel amenities. It's good if you need a night before a cruise and it's close to the port.

Google
This hotel is not good value for money, I did not have a great stay overall and the hotel is currently in the middle of a building site! Check in was easy, however on getting to our room the toilet was not working so we had to go out again for them to fix the issue and all we got was a sorry in return. (a free drink or a food voucher would have been nice for the inconvenience!) Room was tiny for the cost, as was the bed and the shower is in need of a deep clean as there is a build up of mould around the seals. Not a 4* hotel in my opinion.

Yelp
I was happy to find this place. I stayed here 10/06/24 after returning from Virgin cruise. They're doing some remodeling so the address was hidden. The staff is very pleasant. There are complimentary umbrellas in the lobby for your use. They held our luggage until our room was ready. Reviews say the property is very clean and I'd have to agree. There's a sitting area on the 2nd floor with restrooms. A quiet area to hang out at, but away from check in. The building used to be a bank and it had some antique items throughout the property. There's even a valet stand in the room. I had an issue in room 907. It was resolved and I was moved. The rooms are comfortable. It's an easy to walk area and I felt safe. I'd highly recommend Eurostar Langford if you want an affordable & comfortable stay.

Yelp
Great hotel experience. I don't really get the negative reviews. Hotel was clean and quiet, bedding was clean. Room layouts are cozy and give off more of an apartment atmosphere. Shower pressure and water temps are great! There's In room temp control. There's a mini fridge, spacious closet, iron, and a luggage trunk to put your clothes. Staff is friendly and room attendants cleaned and took garbage while we were gone. The area is ok, you can walk to bayfront which is nice. You can walk to Brickell and catch Ubers with ease from the hotel.

Yelp
I had an extremely disappointing and unsettling stay at this hotel as a solo traveler. From the moment I arrived, I noticed things were off, but I decided to give it a chance. Unfortunately, my experience only worsened. The lack of security at the property was a major concern. I arrived around midnight and no one helped me with my bags. I planned to park my rental myself, but that was not an option due to safety reasons (don't believe the pictures) I encountered several random individuals loitering just outside the hotel. So I paid for valet. The lobby and hallways felt poorly maintained. The lock on my door seemed flimsy, and I didn't feel comfortable sleeping but I did put extra security on the door that I packed. Worse, the corridors were dimly lit. After a sleepless night where I felt unsafe and uncomfortable, I made the decision to check out early. I politely informed the front desk about my decision and my reasons for leaving, they told me the manager was away and that he would call me the next day. While waiting outside for my valet, I noticed the same guy who parked my car the night before (Luis) helping some hotel guest with their bags. When I asked about it, I was told it was their discretion to get bags but not their job. Completely unprofessional and inappropriate. Once my car arrived and I tried to plug the new address into the gps, lo and behold, the entire dashboard and navigation system was dark and not responding. Everything was working just fine when I checked it in the night before. This caused me another hour delay before leaving this hotel of horror. I later discovered they likely re-rented my room after I left, but I wasn't offered any kind of partial refund for the unused nights. This added insult to injury and left me feeling completely disregarded as a paying guest. As someone who travels alone, I prioritize safety and cleanliness, and this hotel failed miserably on both fronts. I would strongly advise all travelers to avoid this property--there are much better, safer, and more hospitable options out there. Tru by Hilton Miami Airport South Blue Lagoon, FL truly saved my trip. The rooftop complimentary breakfast (goes above and beyond the normal complimentary hotel breakfast) and pool table were so rewarding and the hotel is in a much safer location. Plus the airport shuttles are a great accommodation.

Yelp
This hotel is awful. Complete dump - awful service, heat didn't work, tiny rooms that aren't cleaned. 0/0

Yelp
This hotel could be a 5, but it's not yet there.... it's absolutely beautiful. It's an old bank building. They serve water in the small lobby. The elevators are off to the side. They ask for ID for everyone in the room. We got two queen beds, the elevators, hallways, rooms, lounge area was beautiful. There was a seperate bathroom to use in the lounge area for all those who are poop shy. The hotel doesn't have nice views but that's okay. The chevron wooden floor is so unique for a hotel room. They do have random drinks and a couple snacks in there. I was in the middle of napping, i get a phone call but didn't answer and 10 mins later some lady knocks on my door and asks if I need anything from the bar? I dont think she messed up my number either because she continued to knock on someone elses door after mine. Their bathroom soaps smelled so delicious from The Lab Room - red pomegrante scent! The bed was actually very comfortable. They provided iron and blow dryer as well. The only downfall to this place, the rooftop wasnt open, we couldnt even get through the doors to see it. And where was the gym or pool that they show on numerous sites??? No where we could get it. No reason it couldnt be open. It was almost 90 degrees this weekend. So my party was pretty upset about that. This does seem like a great location though, i felt safe walking around and there was plenty of nice restaurants around. Also, walking distance to convience stores such as CVS, Walgreens and Dollar General.

Yelp
Another bit of history found in Downtown Miami. I went to go visit the roof top bar, to see some sights from above. However during the pandemic it is shut. I will come back another time for sure. In the meantime, come and see the building. Here is some information regarding it - Downtown Miami's Langford Building (circa 1926) was renovated and reopened as the Langford Hotel the week of March 28th, 2016. The opening of the hotel marked a new chapter for a building that has been part of the Miami skyline for 90 years. While the building's exact opening date in 1926 is uncertain, researching Miami Herald advertisements indicate it was probably in April of that year. The building's construction began in 1925, which was the peak of the building boom of the 1920s. The Langford proudly served as home to several early banks, a prominent insurance company and many other commercial entities that operated out of downtown Miami. While its resiliency and adaptability have been impressive, the Langford Building's early years represented constant change. Tracing the formation and merger of several banks help clarify the changes endured by the building.

Yelp
Rated four stars on google and deserves more here on yelp. It was a very nice stay, the rooms were clean and the staff was attentive. There is a valet parking as well and the area is close to multiple spots as well.

Yelp
I booked this hotel for 3 nights because I thought it was near Brickell...it is but parts of downtown Miami remind me of downtown san jose Costa Rica. This would be one of those corners. The hotel next door seems to be ventured by interesting street characters right out of the movie "the island of dr moreau". I went two blocks in a different direction from where the starbucks is and I I asked a local street urchin where the Starbucks was and he pointed to a building that seemed vacant and I decided to go the opposite direction. Be careful of your surroundings in the adjacent areas and you'll be just fine. There's a hotel with a nice rooftop bar in Chicago called eurostars and it used to be the Dana hotel and spa so if it were not for that I would not have booked a hotel called Eurostars. They have got some good surrounding restaurants and there are 2 train stations with 1 block of the hotel. They've got some unique restaurants within 3 blocks walking distance. Some of them are whole in the walls but some of them are hidden gems. Should restaurant food not do it for ya, then this is within 6 blocks of a whole foods where you can pay 7.99 for half a pound of tuna and really go to town over there for that:) The lounge is open on the 2nd floor but they are not offering anything besides for comfy chairs , couches and a computer. The rooftop lounge is closed because of covid 19. The staff and room service are good despite it being covid which has been hard on the service industry. If you like an edgy flare to life this is the spot for you. I would stay here again if they clean up this part of miami so it does not resemble part slum and part upscale. Just my thoughts.judging by the amount of construction that is going on and I'm assuming some of those are condos then this will be the spot to be in the next 2 years. The city of Miami would have to get rid of the people who are urinating in the streets in broad daylight and ask you for change and yell at you while panhandling for this growth to happen. Just my two cents. Another thing is in every hotel ive ever stayed at there has been some type of coffee making contraption. They had one but only had plastic cups and I dont know about you but I ain't drinking hot coffee is a plastic cup. Styrephom is better. I'm just saying. Price was good for 3 nights-$550 range for 3 nights. There is a bus that goes to miami beach and another one to Aventura and the trains go to Brickell.

Yelp
Highly recommend Eurostars Langford Hotel and will most likely decide to stay here again next time I'm traveling to Miami. The building used to be a bank vault, so the developers did some creative redesign of the space. The interior design of this boutique hotel is cool. I like the rooms. They are smaller in square footage but well designed that it doesn't feel cramped. For the room I was in, the bathroom was spacious and had this sleek, black, subway tile. The shower was also great. There is a PC on the 2nd floor where you can print if needed (useful if you are looking up directions or what have you). The hotel is a short walk to the Metromover, as well as within walking distance to the water. There are lots of places to eat nearby and, for travelers, it's close to a Starbucks and Walgreens. Another nice thing about the hotel is the scent diffuser that it pumps through the air ducts (like the W hotel if you've stayed here). It adds that extra feeling of luxury; disclosure - I'm a sucker for that stuff. Consider Langford Hotel if you want that boutique hotel feel and it's close to where you are planning to be in Miami. Also, for those to whom this is important (I'm included in this group), there is FREE WI-FI and it is strong.

Yelp
Needed to cancel out reservation for a stay in 4 days because my mother died and the funeral is that date of this trip. They refused to provide a refund even though the website says cancellation within 4& hours. We have the obituary and can provide a death certificate. Heartless hotel chain.

Yelp
I was told by the concierge that there were no rooms available for an early check in at 1st and directly afterwards told that I would have to pay $75 for an early check-in for a room that costs $150 a night.

Yelp
So let's start at the beginning, because that's where we are. We just arrived. It's about 4:10pm, check in is at 3pm, so we've been here for 1 hour. First parking is $35, which is fine, but they charge you a resort fee also. Usually the resort fee includes parking. Then the parking is not even on site, it down the street. If anyone knows anything about Miami, they know the weather is crazy. A Sunny day can turn into a torrential rain storm at any time. Having on-site parking is a plus. NON HERE. Then the pictures of the hotel. The hotel is pretty nice. I would give it a 4 out of 5. "BUT", once again, they charge you a resort fee. On their web site they boast of a beautiful restaurant, and an awesome rooftop terrace with DJ and a bar. Well negative goats rider. It's been closed for 2 years. Closed since 2020, we are in 2022. Yet they still charge you for a resort fee. THERE ARE NO A EXTRAS HERE , nothing, just a room. Honestly I would not of come here if I knew it was like this. This place is not cheap. The only reason I picked it is because of the roof top bar and restaurant. They looked so cool, that's the only reason I wanted to stay here. But they are closed and did not inform us at all. They know what they are doing, they know the websites like Expedia and trip revisor , and Yelp have the roof top bar and restaurant open. They show amazing pictures of them. But when you show up. A big SORRY it's closed. FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS. This was my anniversary weekend trip. And although it is not ruined, it surly took a big dip. Looking forward to hearing what will be done to remedy this extreme lack of honesty and false advertising. This is "misleading a consumer" at its best.

Yelp
HUGE VIOLATION OF PRIVACY!!! While I was in the middle of changing clothes, the door to my room was unlocked & opened by another couple! I have NEVER heard of something like this EVER happening at any hotel! Nor should it ever happen!!! This was no fault of theirs, as they genuinely believed this was the room they were assigned & it required verifying with my check-in room key (all while in my underwear). The front desk offered ZERO explanation as to why this "incident" occurred, first blaming the mistake on another staff member & finally conceding that there was absolutely no excuse for something like this to occur. They compensated me with some room service coupons... The hotel-rooms themselves are 2-3-star quality.. no amenities/very bare-bones. I'll never stay here nor at any property under this brand and I'd highly encourage anyone reading this to do the same. There are SO many beautiful, awe-inspiring hotels & resorts in Miami, please don't make the same mistake I did by settling for this UNSAFE run-down budget property.

Yelp
I stayed at the Langford last month. For me that tough to remember details that far back, but not with the Langford. It was such a nice stay that it stays with me today. We checked in a little early. There was 2 gals at the desk and they got us a room early to check into. They were very hospitable at the desk. They gave us a thoughtful breakdown of the hours for the bar on the roof, the checkout time(which we moved up immediately), where to park, where to go and more. We took our elevator up to our room. The building has an old classic vibe, but without the old building smells. For me, that makes a big difference. I have been in some "old classy places) that smelled too musty top appreciate. Not the Langford. We walked into our room and it was bright and clean. It had a big puffy comforter, sharp aesthetically pleasing lines, and some newer items like the high end coffee maker. It was a sigh of relief, as it was listed as a 4 star hotel in a great part of town, but I got a fairly good rate. I was more than happy with the whole set up. We got ready and headed out. The hotel was right by the music venue we were going to, so we were able to walk. Yeah, we made the right call with the Langford.

Yelp
I have stayed over 100 nights in hotels and the check in process here is terrible. My experience in February of this year was not forgotten. They don't even try to be kind to their guests. Why couldn't the front desk give clear answers. For example, you arrive early and they say "no rooms are available, but check in is guaranteed by 3pm". Then you check in with them at 1pm and they say "can't check in yet". I ask, "Can I get on a list then so you will let me know once the room is ready?" The guy tells me "No because there are people upstairs also waiting"...I am like "yeah I was the first of those people, so when will you allow folks to the rooms that are ready?" He proceeds to say well "3pm is guaranteed check in". I'm like "well that's not the question, will you allow early check in for the rooms that are ready?" He then says "check in will be three". I ask "so then you are not going to allow people to go to their rooms early even if the rooms are ready?". The guy still can't give a yes or no answer. Stick with a Marriott or Hyatt or Hilton where at least they try to help you out and will answer you yes or no. Here I feel like they won't even try.

Lucien B.

Yelp
BUYER BEWARE! When you try to book a room on their website, you are sent to a different company. I booked for a whole week, but plans changed. I tried to cancel, and they would not give any (days) money back. All hotels allow you to cancel outside of 24 hours. I never stayed a single night. I have gone there regularly, but I am never going back!

Yelp
Great atmosphere and I think one of the only rooftop in downtown area. Ladies, make sure to go on Wednesday for ladies night! Free drinks! The bartender is extremely nice and friendly.

Yelp
the glass bathroom wall offers ZERO privacy. I have never endured this level of stupidity in a hotel before. besides the lack of privacy, the light turned on by the bathroom user disturbs the person still in bed. I can't wrap my head around whoever thought a glass wall facing the bed was a good design option.

Yelp
Was in town for the Book Fair at MDC a few weeks ago, and this hotel was a super-convenient walk to the college and also to plenty of shops and restaurants. I only have a few complaints: No microwave anywhere on premises. I was on a budget and brought some of my own food but had nowhere to heat it up. Wound up spending way more on eating out than I wanted to. The door to the bathroom in my hotel room was semi-transparent glass. From a privacy standpoint, could be of concern to some travelers, but for me the issue was that there was a super-bright blue-white nightlight in the bathroom that shone through into the room at night. There was no way to turn it off. I already have insomnia and the light made it all the more difficult to sleep. Anyway, otherwise a comfortable stay in a centrally located hotel.

Yelp
This hotel is historic and has a charming appeal. We stayed in the queen junior suite (formerly a bank vault) and liked many aspects of this room and hotel. With that said there are some details that need to be addressed : 1. No coffee or tea in the rooms. There is coffee available from 6 to 10AM. Not convenient on the weekends. 2. Resort fee of $16.95 a day ( that does not include anything, i.e no pool, spa, breakfast ). Tip to management:just charge more money upfront versus trying to pad the bill. 3. Valet is $35 a night! 4. The building acoustics are poor, I can hear people walking down the hall and most noises. 5. The bathroom door is glass so there is not much privacy. 6. Few towels are in the room and there is no vanity in the bathroom. 7. Our room does not have a window. Things that we liked: 1. The rooftop bar 2. Bed is comfortable 3. Television is high quality 4. Neat historic building The Langford is not a traditional hotel and has some interesting features, but if you want hotel perks and amenities stay elsewhere. Hotels in Miami are fairly expensive; therefore, you might as well pay 10% more and actually get what you're paying for.

Yelp
TERRIBLE! Do not stay here! I was here for one night, I requested a low floor and they put me on 7. The room had two broken lights so they switched me to a higher floor where the bed was missing a flat sheet and the down comforter was stained per the below image. When I brought this up to the manager the next morning, I was offered a late checkout and 10% off.. that was more of an insult than a compensation! Will not stay here again, and recommend you don't either!

Yelp
First of all they have bugs came to the hotel after a long day working hoping to catch a good night sleep before my flight back home little did I know that mid sleep I was woken up my not one but 3 huge bugs biting me in the bed when I called front desk to tell them they told me no that's not true but photos don't lie then he said that he was going to call back in 5 to put me in a new room then never called them I called him back and refused to send someone up carry my bags because "he was the only person working that night" terrible doesn't even begin to describe it

Yelp
-Hotel? Check! The Langford was reinvented inside a historic 1925 Bank. It has all the original crown moulding, as well as an original mailbox in front of the elevators. The decor is beautiful and relaxing. The rooms are very spacious, and each one comes with a huge luggage where you can store your things. In a sea of hotels, the Langford is a special gem and it has great rates! I book most of my traveling colleagues here! -Delicious restaurant? Check! Ever heard of a little spot called Pubbelly? Well, you're going to love PB Station! The food concept behind this restaurant is by the Pubbelly Boys Group. The dishes and drinks are so very unique. The flavors are delicious, and I promise you will want to keep coming back for more! Great for work lunch, great for dinner, and great for special events! -Rooftop lounge? Check! The Pawnbroker exudes the air of a Prohibition-style lounge. The feel is very cool and trendy. They hold special events, happy hours, and sometimes have live dj's! It's also a perfect spot to have a drink after work. -Special Event: ROOFTOP YOGA I attended the free rooftop yoga event last week and was completely blown away. The teacher, Gaby Quintana was so positive and lovely. She lead the class so well. The Langford provided everyone with glass bottled water and towels. What a beautiful event!! The Langford has everything you could possibly want in an hotel! (Well, except for a pool and jacuzzi... that would blow my mind!) I love it and highly recommend it for anything!

Yelp
Had a short but pleasant stay at the Langford Hotel. Located in downtown Miami, the hotel is very convenient with many food options nearby. Really friendly staff from the front desk to housekeeping. We enjoyed our stay here. Our room was clean and decor was trendy (or hipster?) and the bed was very comfortable. Had a good sleep here compared to the hotel we stayed at on South beach. New renos too! Would definitely recommend for a stay in downtown at a reasonable price.

Yelp
DO NOT USE THE VALET PARKING! Unless you want to pay $82 to get robbed. They failed to lock my car doors when parking it in a "secure" garage, & when it was returned to me, a bag was missing with all wires/electronics/goods gone. When this happened, I demanded to see video footage but was sent into a chain of "talk to them, we are not liable". If that's the case, I highly highly recommend parking somewhere more secure, or simply locking your own car doors. The stay otherwise was pleasant, but do not trust them or expect any support if something should happen. Honestly, I wouldn't even use the hotel safe. Who knows what goes on behind the scenes.

Yelp
This could have been a great experience, however the front desk staff was rude and condescending while enacting a bizarrely low-class, econo-motel check-in process. The front desk wanted to make photocopies of my drivers license and credit card -- which sounds like the perfect recipe for identity theft. Sensing the security risk, I declined. The front desk person then stated I would have to give them $50 cash to hold for security. Wait, what? I've stayed at just about every luxury and semi-luxury hotel chain there is, and I've never been required to give a cash deposit. At this point a second front desk person slid into the conversation. In rude, condescending tones he essentially stated: this is how we do it here; take it or leave it. Also, the cash deposit is $100, not $50 like the lady initially stated. Being exhausted from travel and not knowing Miami very well, I acquiesced. I walked a couple of blocks to an ATM, took out $100 in cash, and handed it to the rude people behind the counter. Besides the rocky beginning, the hotel room was actually quite nice: stylish, clean, and quiet. I think I could have had a great stay here, but all I can remember is how poorly I was treated. If they don't make changes in their check-in process and improvements in customer service, I won't be returning.

Yelp
Depending on what the purpose of your stay is in Miami, this lodging option will either be superbly adequate or vastly insufficient. Most people think of Miami & envision South Beach. While that's a huge staple to our city, it doesn't define it. As a matter of fact, the better spots to visit are actually off the beach and if you choose downtown as your resting spot-this might be the best of all choices. First if all, Downtown runs north to south with the better end being in the south. Easily accessible through coconut grove, gables, brickell, nomi, design district, and wynwood-it's basically in the heart if it all. I'd personally recommend Uber because parking is pricey in most zones and can almost account for the same price as just taking an Uber. The rooftop at the Langford is a trendy patio bar with crafted cocktails and great music-that's only an elevator away.

Yelp
I have stayed at this hotel many times and have never been disappointed. The service is great, the rooms are nice, and it is centrally located which is perfect for my business trips. Even has an area for working on the second floor when I'm between meetings. Although the service is great in all aspects of the hotel, the breakfast service is exceptional every time, without fail.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try the roof top yoga offered at the Langford for a while. They have been offering free rooftop yoga once a month on a selected Saturday at 9:30 am. I avoided the summer months, but on this cool Miami morning it was perfect. Great way to start the weekend. It was a power yoga class so I got my cardio, stretch, and relaxation al before 11:00 am. Looking forward to the November class.

Yelp
The receptionist isn't as friendly as you'd expect them to be, but their hotel entrance smells amazing, and their rooms aren't bad at all! Very clean, and yet modernish. Valet at the entrance of the hotel available. Would come back, and won't knock any stars off due to the receptionist. Everything else was fine.

Yelp
I'm torn. We are here with my family for 2 nights, and the room is great, shower amazing, beds comfy. Coffee maker is good and I love having a fridge. However the staff here are so unfriendly, unhelpful and unhappy to be here. When we checked in, it was almost 10pm on Saturday and we asked if there was anywhere to get something to eat or a cup of coffee. The lady said no, everything around here is closed now. Turns out the freaking rooftop bar was open AND the cafe directly across the street (go to Mirabelle, they were fantastic!) AND the Black Market sports bar at the corner. Sheesh. The next day, we went to breakfast and were told we had to pay. My reservation clearly said breakfast was included, but they still felt the need to "go and check" before rather sullenly acquiescing. Later when we met up with friends in the lobby, we were loudly SHHHUUSHED and told to leave. I am in a customer facing business and you have to have some damn good showers to make up for this lack of customer service. But the rooms are clean, bright and spacious! Location seems fine and close to restaurants, metro mover, and cruise port. Perhaps we caught them on a bad weekend? I love the room but I don't feel welcome at all.

Yelp
We stayed here for 5 nights for a trip to Miami for a wedding in the area. Highlights: -Nicely decorated rooms and included toiletries -rooftop bar that is both indoors and outdoors -Live jazz on Tuesday nights once a month -clean and spacious rooms -wood floors - no yucky carpet!!! -downtown area very accessible / not far from the beach via car Cons: -No pool -very, very small "fitness room" (but open 24hrs) -$15/day mandatory charge for "amenities" like wifi, "breakfast" and "printing services" whether you use them or not this charge is not included in your initial costs My biggest criticism is the $15/day charge that includes "breakfast". While it is described as a continental there were some concerns. Their "breakfast" is weak considering their restaurant below is supposed to be absolutely amazing. Breakfast includes fruit, some cereals and milk, breads, and yogurt/granola parfaits (tea, coffee, juice). I've stayed at Best Westerns that pull together hot breakfasts better than what was offered. The staff seemed to have trouble keeping up with demand at breakfast and a lot of items were often empty or "out" if you came towards 9:30am when breakfast is over at 10am. If you came at 9:00am the room was often full without a table for you to sit at. And nothing was readily taken to go because everything is silverware and real dishes and not possible for you to carry out. You also can't bus your own tables or throw out your own garbage so if a table became free you had to wait for it to be bused before you could settle down. I feel the breakfast could definitely be worked on and would make this hotel experience a whole lot better. Other than that, the room was clean and serviced well every day. The in-room amenities were nice and comfortable so overall I would say I had a good experience.

Yelp
OMG" is what I thought when I came across The Langford Hotel, a "Beaux-Arts" hotel, on Expedia. I thought it was going to be perfect because my fiancé loves architecture and design so it made sense that this is where we would spend our week and a half long stay at. I must've been looking at another hotel on Expedia because the one we stayed at was not what I was expecting. Online, there was a picture of a lobby or something with lots of deep wood and a vintage suitcase sitting next to steps that led to a corridor. But nope, no area in the hotel looked like that. As we pulled up to the front of the building, a homeless man came to help my fiancé with the door before we were approached by valet. Keep in mind, the homeless man was still a little ways away by the time we stopped the car. And you have no choice but to spend $35/day on valet because there is no parking lot. The least they can do is actually approach you before homeless people do. Or maybe they should employ them since they are doing a better job. Upon reaching our room, a lady is telling us to wait as she walks down with something that looks like a lint roller on a selfie stick. She said "I told them the room wasn't ready yet because it still had to be rolled." She opened the door and proceeded to do the rolling...with the new age lint roller that I guess takes place of vacuuming. We walked in precariously because we did not want to interrupt her as she masters her rolling. She says she's done and leaves. The rolling was inefficient because there was still hair and other things only of God knows what that was left on the floor. And it pretty much remained that way throughout our stay. When we would have the room service clean the room, they always missed something. Even though two people were staying in the room, there was one robe in the closet and one washcloth in the shower; sometimes no washcloth at all. I had called a month before booking the hotel and asked if they had a fitness center. They stated they do not, but it seems as if they do. I would not call it a fitness center. It is more like a storage closet where they hide their exercise equipment. Or the Noah's Ark of fitness centers, but instead of taking two of everything, they took one of everything. On the second day of our stay, my fiancé had walked over to say something to Dasia (the person who checked us in nearly 24 hours prior) and she proceeded to ask him if he would like to check in. It all makes sense now because our room key had to be exchanged half a dozen times because it didn't work. Maybe that's because Dasia had to keep checking us in. There is no breakfast room service. No coffee or tea to make in your room which means you're angry at the world until you get your caffeine fix. Halfway into our stay, we asked the front desk to call for our car and that we were going to CVS and would be right back. We came back about 10-15 minutes later and I had a gut feeling that they never called for the car. Waited for 5 minutes and nothing. Closing in on 10 minutes and we go to valet to ask where our car is and they say they were never told to get it. We had an appointment and we're now 30 minutes behind schedule. If you made it to the end of this post, we will not be going back to The Langford Hotel. It left much to be desired.

Yelp
This Hotel is considered to be "4 Star". Upon coming to the hotel the block around is deserted practically along with a abandoned "mall" across the street. The photos on the website do not accurately represent the area. The Front Desk Representative is a "robot". Upon Checkin he went through every word in his speech telling us individually (but not quickly) that the rooftop is closed, Restaurant and etc.... instead of telling us everything is closed tell us what is opened (Nothing due to "Covid"). Not only is Everything closed all the amenities including room service is not operating but yet we needed ice for our own beverage & they brought it to us which was very inconvenient considering I already walked to the front desk for it. Not only did it take 20 minutes to get ice when we got it I noticed black spots in the ice along with a bug in the ice. (photos below) All these precautions are because of Covid but yet we still seen multiple staff members not covering their face, seems like more of a budget cut then a precaution some "4 Star Hotel". The Interior of the room isn't the best the base boards, Floors and Door Frame have some obvious damage. We could not lock the bathroom door and it also wouldn't stay fully open without sliding half way closed. Our Room was not serviced. I never was asked nor instructed on how to get the room serviced. This is a service that hotels offer for guest staying more than one night. We where absent from the room the entire evening & even came back to the room across the hall being cleaned but we walked into the room just how we left it no fresh towels, No soap, Bed not made. All of these things would be okay in a Motel 8 so I would recommend a name change, You get what you pay for. The Front Desk said we should have made all these issues aware to him but there comes a point to that's not our job we are trying to have a good time on vacation.

Yelp
Good sized room. Recently remodeled. Glass door showers. Great views. Rooms can be loud as it's easy to hear noise room to room. Polite staff. Decent breakfast included. Rooms could use firmer pillows and full length mirrors.

Yelp
Hotel stay was okay except for the weird bathroom situation. In the very small room there is a large clear glass wall between the sleeping area and the bedroom. When laying in the bed your have a clear view of the toilet which is a couple of feet from your head through the glass wall. No curtain and no way to block off that window. Fortunately I was there by myself so did not have to share every detail of my hygiene routine with a companion. Even though I was there alone I felt like I was in some kind of zoo when using that bathroom. How anyone could think this was acceptable baffles me.

Yelp
Everything was good about the visit except for the woman who serviced us upon check-in and check-out. Upon checking in, I found her to be a bit cold and standoffish. If you are going to work in hospitality and wear a fake smile, at least make an effort to appear sincere. We inquired as to the possibility of late check-out. She confirmed that availability would only be known the morning of check-out, so she said to call then. That was not a problem, as is common practice. That morning, we called the front desk from the room (about an hour before regular check-out time). A gentleman answered the phone and granted checkout for an hour later than standard time. About 15 minutes before the new late check-out time, we received a phone call from the woman at the front desk. We had to confirm with her that we were granted late check-out. We also asked for a 15-min. extension. She denied the extension, stating that the hotel was at capacity. We still left the room on time. There was no sign of a cleaning cart in the vicinity. By the way, I left the room very clean, made the bed, tied up the trash, wiped the counters and left a good tip. During check-out, she asked us how our stay was about three or so times, despite our answering. My lack of enthusiasm during checkout was warranted. She said that no one told her that we received late check-out. Not my problem. She asked us if we requested late check-out in the morning or the evening prior. We felt as though this was a trick question where she was trying to catch us in a lie or not following rules. I truthfully responded that late check-out was granted in the morning via phone, as per what she told us during check-in. We have stayed at many hotels and have never been denied a measly 15 minutes or been questioned how late checkout was granted. In comparison, we previously stayed at the Eurostars property on Miami Beach and encountered nothing but excellent service.

Yelp
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone if you care about the customer experience. If you are just looking for a place to say for the night, absolutely. But if you enjoy the "being taken care of" vibe, stay far away. The woman at the front desk is cold, rude and apathetic to the customers needs. The warmth so desperately needed in the hospitality industry is not present here. They need to work on smiling, being accommodating and warm. I went for my Bday weekend and actually asked for a refund and stayed somewhere else because I was so turned off.

Yelp
My mother and I planned for a 2 night stay here prior to going on a cruise. We had booked via phone. It wasn't until we got to the hotel that we discovered the person on the phone made a mistake and booked us into a room with only one bed. Their naming system is confusing AF, which helped busy the mistake. They were booked up unfortunately so couldn't give us another room with 2 beds. Because the bed was also not even a queen, no way we did not want to share. Did I mention it was my mother's 70th? They refused to waive the cancellation fee, despite the fact that it was their mistake and poor room naming. Ultimately the front desk woman was very nice, the room clean and would have been perfect if it were what we wanted. BUT, having to fight and argue and ultimately still get charged $250 for a room we never even used, was NOT worth it. When it comes to hospitality industry you expect hospitality, especially when a mistake has been made on their part. If you stay here, better hope nothing goes wrong.

Yelp
One star because zero stars is not an option. Open at 11... Showed up at 11:30. One waitress was outside, no one was there, doors locked, sat for twenty minutes... WTF?

Yelp
Front desk staff is awful. Room reeked of bleach. No room service. Doors slam and echo throughout the floor. Walls are too thin and can hear the other guest. Charged me for breakfast I never had. Might be the worst hotel i've ever stayed at.

Yelp
Music is too loud. Asked them to turn down just a bit, but still shouting to my girlfriend who is sitting right next to me. Other customers agreed. Drinks are good if you can withstand silence and no talking.

Yelp
Clean, chic, and efficient. Love the decor of the hotel. Very clean. Room is kinda small but it had everything I needed. A small fridge, a COFFEE MAKER, spacious shower... there's a window, however, can't see the outside (the reason for the deduction) :( I felt a little closed in. There's a fitness room, but I didn't check it out. No pool. The business center is empty every time I am there, which is nice. It's located on the 2nd floor with quite a few comfy couches. My flight was at 10pm, the ladies held my luggage for me, and I was able to relax a bit on the 2nd floor before I leave for my flight. There's a rooftop bar, but when I was there it was kinda empty. Might be the weather, it was raining earlier that night. The bed was comfy. Location is great. Convenient to all public transits. Walking distance to quite a few good restaurants. Cvs and Walgreens are also only a couple blocks away. I will most definitely stay here again if I need a hotel in downtown Miami. I wish I can give 4.5 stars instead of 4. 1/2 star down only because of the window situation.

Yelp
Great service and love the decor! I stayed here for a couple nights and loved every bit of it. The rooms were comfortable and well decorated. The bathroom and toiletries were very nice (aka worth sneaking a few home). The price was reasonable and I'll definitely be back. The only drawback was that I stayed here on election night and all night there was a lot of loud cheering at the TV next door but the front desk staff sent someone up right away to ask them to quiet down. I wish they could do something about the results as well, but I'll still come back even though my last memory there was flailing into their soft pillows with despair.

Yelp
This place is not good. That is an understatement. Rude staff. No hot water for morning shower and shave. Waited 35 minutes to retrieve car from valet. Would not recommend.

Yelp
This hotel is more so a boutique than a hotel chain. The herringbone whitewash hardwood floors were beautiful. The bathroom was to die for. (Pics included) Inside the closets was a baby iron board along with a safe(thank you) and shelves to store bathroom accessories. Also no bedbugs in sight. The bed and pillows were very comfy. Here are the reasons I gave three stars... I have to take medication at night and every morning. They have NO vending machines to get water, drink, snack etc. or ice . It was bottled water in the room but I wasn't paying $4.00 for water. I don't recommend going to this room if you are with your girlfriend. Me and my best friend literally (lol) argued over the bathroom. We both are very particular and have OCD. With that being said, it was only one sink and a small shelf that covered the wall. I couldn't fit my makeup there because it kept falling. It was only one mirror in the room so we were shifting back and forth to use the mirror at the same time. The pocket bathroom doors are beautiful but you can see anyone silhouette through it. I didn't like that at all. The shower had no place to store your soap, shampoo, loofah and conditioner so imagine reaching down on the floor in the shower to pick up your toiletries as needed. Can you say disgusting! If you want to sleep in this hotel you hear will here every single thing going on. I hear the next room tv, hear couple getting it in and the next night heard an argument between a couple and yes we heard everything they said. Our room was in the front so we heard all the cars passing by, people laughing downstairs at valet parking. They are doing major construction on this street with building and street and we heard every car going over the steel plates on the street. The hotel is located downtown. With that being said it was very few restaurants on the street that was expensive for something I didn't want. We went to the Italian restaurant and ate there the first night. They have Ross about 4 blocks on same street. Two or three blocks from the hotel you make a right and finally we see a CVS. Yes water and drink was that important but again we didn't have a refrigerator to store our refreshments so it was hot drinking it. Only a few homeless people on this street and they didn't beg or give us problems. They have a bar/pub on the the PH level that was nice with a live DJ. Also had a patio to look out over and sit with friends to drink. I'm not a drinker. so I asked for a Sprite to take to my room to take my medicine. $4.00 for a bottled soda that was hot. Not one soda was chilled. They gave me ice to take to my room, but by the time I got there and poured my drink it was hot again. We were never in the room during the day but in South Beach so I can't comment on that. I probably will only stay here for a night but not longer. We were here 4 days and on the 4th floor. All my gripes is where big chains come in with all of their amenities. They don't have a swimming pool either if that's what your looking for.

Yelp
The valet guys are a joke. I previously lived in Miami for 9 years so I know the drill but these valet "bros" are taking it to a new low. They barely acknowledged me when I pulled up. I had to go get the valet to stop looking at his phone and come get my car. The valet is not $35 overnight. Its $42. They hit you with $7 in taxes and "fees" = 20%. The guy at the front desk (in the morning) just said "its a third party company so deal with them", i.e. not my problem. The rooms are generally okay but you can hear the doors open and shut in the morning. The roof-top bar is really the only thing this place has going for it. There are lots of other options down on Brickell Avenue so check those out before booking here

Yelp
We checked in super early and they only had a room available with the glass wall for the bathroom. Its a little awkward while making bowel movements lol. Bed was a lil snug in the bed for my hubby and i. Very very thin walls we heard everything....hotel stay was ok gave 4 stars for the early check in
