Everything in the hotel was satisfactory except the complete lack of concern for guest safety and human life during a critical incident.
On 16 December 2025, a firefighting-related incident occurred on Floor 14. I was the person who informed the hotel about the issue. During the incident, fire extinguishing powder entered my room, and I was about to suffocate. I experienced severe coughing and respiratory distress.
I went down to the lobby coughing heavily in front of hotel employees, clearly in need of medical assistance. Instead of providing help or calling emergency services, hotel staff asked me to remain silent and move away from other guests to hide the incident. This behavior deeply upset me, as it demonstrated no concern for my health or life.
Additionally, hotel security surrounded me and prevented me from speaking or asking for help. When one of my colleagues, who was also staying at the hotel, attempted to come assist me, hotel security forcibly removed him from the hotel.
Furthermore, another colleague was trapped inside his room because the hotel centrally locked all rooms on that floor, apparently to prevent guests from reporting the incident. As a result, he was exposed to the fire extinguishing powder, suffered health effects, and had to be taken to the hospital.
This incident reflects extremely poor emergency handling, unsafe practices, and a complete disregard for guest safety and human life. I expect this matter to be taken very seriously and properly investigated.
