Eurostars Matera La Suite

A beautiful 5 star hotel in a fantastic location on the edge of the Matera Sassi (caves) area and next to buzz of the Passieggata every evening on the Via Ridola and Via Corso. Our suite was exceptional with a terrace looking towards the city, a very comfortable extra large bed, a separate seating dining area, modern bathroom with loads of wardrobe storage in the entrance hall. We made use of the private spa which you book for 2 of you for an hour and it was lovely. The breakfast had a lovely choice of fresh fruit, lovely pastries, continental cheese and meats, bread and hot food. The staff were attentive and served tea or coffee if your choice at the table. When we come back to this magical place we will stay here again.

Staying at the Eurostars Hotel in Matera was an absolute pleasure. The room was impressively large, modern, and equipped with every amenity you could need—spacious bed, elegant bathroom, and thoughtful details that made the stay extra comfortable. The location couldn’t be better: right in the heart of Matera, within walking distance of the Sassi and all the main attractions. It’s the perfect base for exploring the city, yet still feels quiet and relaxing once you step back inside.

We had an excellent time and our bar tender Giovanni was fabulous. He made a great Cosmopolitan and best espresso martini. He over exceeded expectations and was very helpful and knowledgeable!

Hotel was situated very close to the old town which made eating and touring very easy.Rooms were spacious and clean . Our balcony looked towards the cave, however no chairs for sitting on it. Breakfast was typical with pastries , cheese , cereals, breads and eggs etc. Coffee was hot .

Hotel to avoid, despite its convenient location near the city center. The atmosphere was so cold we almost caught a chill, and the welcome was far from friendly, we felt like we were disturbing. Breakfast was a complete disappointment: everything industrial, tasteless fruit, and Nespresso coffee… quite embarrassing for a hotel in Italy. Even worse, just a few hours later we all had stomach issues. Definitely not worth the price.

beautiful modern hotel next to the old town Matera. quiet, comfortable, big rooms. walking distance to the ruins, castle, dozens of restaurants. great breakfast. 40 min from Bari Airport. Espresso machines in the room, but make sure to ask for milk at the front desk if you want cappuchinos, since they do not offer creamers

Valerio is THE BEST! He was able to get my laundry done for me last minute and was so so helpful. Beautiful hotel made better by the outstanding staff.

Great hotel just outside of the old town of Matera, but very easy 5-10 minute walk to all the interesting sights.|Room was huge with views over the town and the castle.|Spotlessly clean.|Breakfast was spot on.|Lots of great choices.|Staff 1st class.|Parking available next door at a charge but so convenient!|100% recommendation
