Business trip experience – not recommended||I came here on a business trip for a few days, but after the first night I decided not to stay longer. Here’s why:||First impressions & location|The exterior is huge, but very old, rusty, and dirty. Location itself is convenient - you can reach most places in the city quickly.||Parking|Finding a parking spot the first time was a bit complicated, but the reception staff helped me. Parking in front of the hotel is only allowed for 10-15 minutes. The parking area was also under renovation, so it was confusing where to go at first.||Check-in & lobby|Check-in was fast, though I was surprised that parking was not free (around €15 per night). The hotel inside looks just as old as outside. It’s huge, so walking with luggage to the room was not easy.||Room|I was given a room for disabled guests, which I didn’t book. Reception refused to change it, saying the hotel was fully booked - although the parking lot was almost empty, which felt strange.|The room itself was large but outdated. The bathroom was not very clean, with rust and marks everywhere. Toiletries were incomplete, and there was no complimentary bottled water - unacceptable for this price.||The bed was average, Wi-Fi speed was decent (about 100 Mbps) but not very stable. There was a rainbow light above the bed, which ruined the atmosphere. The view was terrible - just rusty old buildings. The air conditioner could not be adjusted, so you can’t set your preferred temperature.||Breakfast|The breakfast room was big with many options, but the quality was disappointing. Coffee was especially bad. Overall: 2/5.||Other notes|Reception gave me free parking as compensation for the room issue, but that didn’t really improve the experience.||Conclusion|For the price and the quality of service provided, I was not satisfied. Personally, I will not stay at this hotel again.

Very interesting and quirky design of hotel. There was a good choice for breakfast. The carpark was undergoing some restoration, but otherwise was very good with large spaces.

The hotel i really nice and the staff’s super friendly and really fast in case you need anything. The room was spotless each day and the beds, even though the mattresses are really generic, the room overall’s really comfy. Now, I’m giving three stars due to the breakfast, the “scrambled eggs” are watery and tasteless. You can ask for a different way of having your eggs but the line keeps growing after 5min. The coffee is not good and the machines keep breaking down. I would actually recommend the hotel as a whole, its location’s OK and the architecture is really stunning, but remember to grab some coffee and snacks to eat the next morning.

Friendly and helpful receptionist.|The hotel is in a very unusual “spaceship” building, in a quiet residential area.|Large room and bathroom. Spotless. A fridge and a safe.|Not sure about the AC for warmer months. Ovideo was cool and rainy when we were there.|No restaurant options nearby, but La Botica Indiana around the corner was great for breakfast, excellent tostado and coffee.|If I return to Oviedo, I don’t think I would stay here again because of the distance to the centre and the lack of nearby restaurants.

Pufff… this hotel, no, really… building looks like abandoned from outside, a true pity for such a city landmark, creepy huge parking completely empty except for a few parking spaces reserved for the hotel. “Wellness” closed in the middle of august. Bar closed until 6pm and no way to get a coffee in the hotel, the rooms do not have a coffee or tea machine. Huge soulless entrance, not even newspapers are available to the hotel guests. The overall ensemble is aging and will continue if nothing is done. Sorry but no, I will not come back.

Marketed as a four-star, but it feels more like a decorative illusion of one. The hairdryer barely works, facilities look nice but function poorly, and the breakfast is modest at best with very limited choices.

Everything was perfect; at the reception they attended us very well and quickly. They explained everything to us and suggested an area where we could have dinner in a typical local place. The hotel has a very modern design.

We had a pleasant stay in this beautiful hotel designed by the architect Calatrava. The room was luxury and clean. We only missed a water kettle.
