Hotel Palazzo Zichy

"Named for Count Nándor Zichy and completely rehabilitated in 2009, the hotel's 19th century bones serve it well, while the contemporary furnishings bring up-to-date oomph and highlight the beauty and stylishness of the build. So too is its location in the palace quarter undergoing a renaissance – you won't be far from new cafes, restaurants and nightlife."

Fantastic hotel. Close to plenty of bars and restaurants. Many Bea buildings in the surrounding area. Sauna and wellness are really nice and modern, not used frequently so great to have it all to yourselves. Breakfast is amazing and so tasty. Staff are very professional and speak many languages. Knowledge of staff is super. Bus service is nearby also underground tubes. Luggage room very secure. Free safe in rooms. Rooms are very spacious and plenty of room to hang clothes. Bathroom was spotless and shower was very pleasant perfect temperature. Would definitely stay again. Such a fantastic place

This is undoubtedly the best hotel in Budapest! Very clean, pleasant, and modern rooms, convenient location, and all the necessary services. But what was most important for us was the Front Office. They not only helped with transfers for our business trips but also solved a very complex task on an individual basis. Special thanks to the staff member Andor Elekes. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone for your trip, business stay, or any other purpose!

A great hotel for couples. The location is perfect; close to the city center yet quiet. There are plenty of restaurants (for lunch and dinner) as well as coffee bars and bakeries (for breakfast) within a 1 km radius. The building itself breathes history and heritage. The lobby is very impressive when you walk in for the first time. We had an issue with the shower on the first morning, but the staff quickly gave us a new room. It was presented as an upgrade, though it felt quite similar to the first one (except the ceiling was lower). The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms could use a bit of refreshing: in both rooms we stayed in, the wallpaper was peeling in some areas, some electric sockets were loose, and the paint on the light switches was starting to chip. We tried the hotel breakfast once; it was well stocked, but we preferred trying typical Hungarian pastries at local coffee bars nearby, as we couldn’t find much of that at the hotel breakfast. The price is very reasonable for what you get. Just don’t expect much of the wellness or fitness facilities.

A Truly Exceptional Four-Star Experience! This hotel is the definition of what a true four-star hotel should be — clean, professional, and warmly welcoming. Our group experienced genuine hospitality from start to finish. The staff were wonderful with our children, always ready with helpful recommendations, and consistently polite and sincere. One person who stood out the most was Douah — she is without a doubt a rising star and a future leader in the hospitality industry. She is professional, clear, knowledgeable, and impressively talented (speaking five languages!), yet what shines through most is her kindness and warmth. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to her amazing colleagues, including our Turkish friend and our Spanish friend David. Our experience at this hotel was truly amazing. Thank you again for making our stay so memorable!

Douaa was the absolute best! From the moment we arrived at check in she was friendly and patient … but she was exceptionally knowledgeable about the area and best restaurants and what to do!! Her restaurant recommendations were spot on … she made our time in Budapest exceptional… the hotel while nice enough was not in the city center … it was quite a distance from everything we wanted to do … it was in a quite neighborhood… the staff was friendly .. we enjoyed our stay but would have preferred closer to the main area … better walking distance Thank you Douaa … you were amazing!

We booked the Eurostars Zichy after reading the reviews and due to reasonable pricing.|The building is beautiful, clean and well maintained. Rooms are also clean with twin beds , several cabinets, coffee machine and fridge. Bath rooms are very clean with a nice shower head and spray. Hotel provided shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, cream and hand soap and also an hair dryer. Rooms are on the smaller side, hardly much space to keep your luggage.|Service at the front desk varies from very friendly to so so. One of the best receptionist was Dua who greeted with smile and ready to help. |The hotel is not close to Budapest palace or Parliment building for which you have to take uber or taxi.

The hotel is very nice, it has a sauna, gym, the lobby has a free coffee machine which is very nice especially when you need a quick pick me up. The gym is small but it works, the sauna is very good, the rooms are good located in district 5 not far from the center , I basically walked everywhere except 2 or 3 spots. They do have breakfast but thats extra, laundry service but only on Mondays which I wish I knew it was only on a Monday, but such as life. The two girls in the morning have a delightful smile, which is very welcoming.

Great location, beautiful hotel!!! We really enjoyed our long weekend stay at this beautiful hotel. The bed and floor was sooo squeaky and creaky we would lay there thinking we aren't even moving what's creaking (maybe it's haunted), and I could hear the person next door couching and talking, not recommended for honeymoons 🤣 I was on the fence about giving it 5* but I have to, it is such a great location and the sauna and gym is available 24h, big bonus. It is a beautiful building where modern meets classic architecture. Cleanliness was superb, even though there was come spillage in the elevator I informed the receptionist and it was still there hours later.... We never ended up trying the breakfast but it looked really good!
