We were very disappointed with our stay. We paid for a four-star hotel but did not receive four-star service. Even before arrival, it was a struggle to secure the twin beds we had requested when booking. While the room and common areas were pleasant, breakfast quality was poor (average products, limited savoury options) and, most surprisingly, the advertised bar simply did not exist during most of the week. We were even told “opening hours” at reception, only to discover later from online reviews that the bar is closed Monday to Thursday — information never disclosed beforehand.
The poor sound insulation made restful nights impossible, and at check-out, the receptionist did not even ask how our stay had been. After our departure, we contacted both the hotel and the group to share this feedback. Two weeks later, we still have not received a reply. This silence confirms what our experience had already suggested: customer service here is lamentable.
Overall, a very disappointing experience that significantly reduced our enjoyment of Seville.
