"Tropical Treats in the Darwin Botanic Gardens Housed in the heritage-listed Wesleyan Church building—an architectural feat that has withstood World War II, cyclones, neglect and abuse—Eva's Cafe is an inviting hideaway that features tropical decor that mirrors its Botanic Gardens locale. The chia pot with almond milk and bee pollen makes for a lovely start to the day, as does a house-baked scone and pour-over organic coffee."

Give all 5 stars for all categories; food was really good; quality and taste wise. Big breakfast set is well worth it. Scones awesome. Love that the cream is not too sweet. Scones texture is bit different than what I have in the US, lighter, but that does not take any point away from my overall experience. Very nice atmosphere to sit and chillax. Another spot recommended when visiting Darwin.

Laid back atmosphere and excellent food: a mix of cafeteria breakfast options, plus delicious brunch-style items. Make sure to check the print menu. Definitely recommend the fruit toast!

Located near the carpark in the Botanic gardens covered under large trees is very nice. We had some coffee, hot chocolate, juice and banana bread, which was delicious. TheNomand.family can recommend having a break there.

Almost closing time on Sun 27/7 recently when I ordered a choc ice drink for $9.50 takeaway. Mostly filled with ice so hmm.. Might have cooled me in the sizzling weather! Service staff are lovely. Cafe is housed in a pre-fabricated Wesleyan Methodist Church from early settlement days in 1897 restored & relocated from original site in Knuckey St. Great re-purposing of heritage in a beaut garden setting.. Check info board outside✨️✨️

Staying in Darwin for a week, and we just found this gem today ( due to fly back to Brisbane on Saturday ) We wish to find it earlier and its a walking distance from our accommodation! Ordered the Laksa Egg Benedict with salmon ( it was scrumptious!! ), it sounded interesting on the menu, it looked good when it was presented and tasted delicious!! I would have it everyday for my breakfast!! Hubby had chocolate thick shake, and it was the real thick shake on the stainless steel cup ( which it should be ) unlike others they go on the glass! Hubby loved it!! It was thick, real milk and tasted so nice he said. The staff was lovely ( the lady with a blonde hair ). She was quick, friendly and welcoming! Plenty of tables at the front and at the back as well under the trees. The place was really nice inside the botanical garden itself. We could just sit there for the whole day enjoying their food and drinks. Plenty of parkings and dog friendly too. Also its disabled access too. We definitely will come again next time when we visit Darwin again! 👍☺

Great venue dog friendly, lots of water bowls for your fur baby's. Can't recommend the burrito bowl enough. Plentiful and was easily a share meal leaving room for deserts after a walk amongst the gardens.

This café is in a great location, right at the entrance of the botanical garden, making it perfect for a weekend brunch before taking a stroll in the garden. The building is an old, small chapel with plenty of tables and chairs both indoors and outdoors. The food and drinks are delicious, and the staff is very friendly.

Yelp
Loved my laksa egg Benedict. Hollandaise sauce had a nice light flavor of curry laksa. Bush chai wasn't dissolved in the milk so there was a lot of chai powder with raw sugar bits on the bottom of the cup. Avo smash went well with the fennel with bush dukkah, feta and tomato. Sourdough for both dishes was nicely toasted and crusty.

Yelp
Lovely cafe This is a lovely spot for a breakfast, lunch or just coffee if you are visiting the Botanic Gardens. Little bit pricey though but the outlook is gorgeous!

Yelp
Love this place. It's so beautiful tucked in the botanic gardens - tall leafy trees all around!! There is a nice deck out the back, as well as seating inside and out the front too. Coffee is delicious - maybe could do with more options for food on the menu but what you get is delicious! Love that I'm back in Darwin and can pop in for a takeaway coffee, or meet a friend in such a picturesque setting.

Yelp
This new cafe is gorgeous! It's only been open just over a week and is situated in the darwin botanic gardens. They have turned the city's oldest church into a darling cafe! However it is not overdone and the church still appears as an old church. Whoever designed/styled this cafe both interior and exterior did an amazing job. There is outdoor seating on the decking which shades under the trees, seating inside and also picnic rugs and lounge style seating on the grass around the church. I loved it so much that after my flat white I went home to get my family. It's a great place for the kiddies and why not take a stroll through the gardens while you're there. I had a flat white which was nice but not amazing and we also ordered banana bread and a ham and cheese toastie. Banana bread was lovely served with apricot butter but the toastie... It was 'amaze balls'! Cold water offered free. Loved this place!
