"Tropical Treats in the Darwin Botanic Gardens Housed in the heritage-listed Wesleyan Church building—an architectural feat that has withstood World War II, cyclones, neglect and abuse—Eva's Cafe is an inviting hideaway that features tropical decor that mirrors its Botanic Gardens locale. The chia pot with almond milk and bee pollen makes for a lovely start to the day, as does a house-baked scone and pour-over organic coffee."

This café is in a great location, right at the entrance of the botanical garden, making it perfect for a weekend brunch before taking a stroll in the garden. The building is an old, small chapel with plenty of tables and chairs both indoors and outdoors. The food and drinks are delicious, and the staff is very friendly.

It was a pleasant moment to visit this cafe. I did not know that this place was a methodist church in 1897 and reconstructed become a cafe. The architecture and ambience really blends to the surrounding of botanic garden. I’ve tried matcha, it was okay. If you are a matcha lover I don’t recommend you to drink matcha here but for the desserts is really good.

I recently visited the café and while the place is beautiful, the coffee was terrible. It was burnt, no latte art, extremely hot. We could not drink it. The price was as high as any specialty coffee place but the quality was not there.

On holidays from Melbourne. Found this little gem on the third last day of our holidays and came here every morning for breakfast (wish we had found it sooner). The wattleseed oats were amazing, prices very reasonable, the food delicious and generous in size and the atmosphere was very peaceful and beautiful. Would definitely come here again and highly recommend anyone to come here.

A Refreshing Oasis Amidst Botanical Bliss. On a sweltering day, we sought refuge in this charming cafe and were instantly greeted by the gentle caress of cool air from the fans—a thoughtful touch indeed! The menu presented a good array of choices, catering to a variety of palates. Nestled within the lush botanical gardens, the cafe offers a harmonious blend of culinary delight amidst nature's splendor. The expansive outdoor seating area is a huge plus, allowing patrons to bask in the serene garden ambiance while enjoying their meal. This cafe is more than just a pit-stop; it's a delightful experience that marries the essence of nature with comforting hospitality.

I love how the outdoor dining areas are under tree canopies, truly a tropical dining experience. You check out the menu and order at the counter with your table number. Not only do they serve decent coffee, the food was just as stunning. We had pork and potato baked with caramelised onions and mustard, big breakfast with sausage, mushrooms, ham, bacon, tomatoes and toast, beef rib open sandwich with meat that fell apart at touch. It was all very yummy, what a great experience!

Charming little cafe in an old restored church building. Lots of outdoor seating under majestic trees with plenty of fans for air cirulation. Salmon and peta bread was tasty and refreshing.

Yelp
Loved my laksa egg Benedict. Hollandaise sauce had a nice light flavor of curry laksa. Bush chai wasn't dissolved in the milk so there was a lot of chai powder with raw sugar bits on the bottom of the cup. Avo smash went well with the fennel with bush dukkah, feta and tomato. Sourdough for both dishes was nicely toasted and crusty.

Yelp
Lovely cafe This is a lovely spot for a breakfast, lunch or just coffee if you are visiting the Botanic Gardens. Little bit pricey though but the outlook is gorgeous!

Yelp
Love this place. It's so beautiful tucked in the botanic gardens - tall leafy trees all around!! There is a nice deck out the back, as well as seating inside and out the front too. Coffee is delicious - maybe could do with more options for food on the menu but what you get is delicious! Love that I'm back in Darwin and can pop in for a takeaway coffee, or meet a friend in such a picturesque setting.

Yelp
This new cafe is gorgeous! It's only been open just over a week and is situated in the darwin botanic gardens. They have turned the city's oldest church into a darling cafe! However it is not overdone and the church still appears as an old church. Whoever designed/styled this cafe both interior and exterior did an amazing job. There is outdoor seating on the decking which shades under the trees, seating inside and also picnic rugs and lounge style seating on the grass around the church. I loved it so much that after my flat white I went home to get my family. It's a great place for the kiddies and why not take a stroll through the gardens while you're there. I had a flat white which was nice but not amazing and we also ordered banana bread and a ham and cheese toastie. Banana bread was lovely served with apricot butter but the toastie... It was 'amaze balls'! Cold water offered free. Loved this place!
