Evedon Lakeside Retreat

We had a lovely, relaxing family stay at Evedon Lakeside Retreat. The rooms were well equipped with both cooling and heating, making our stay very comfortable. It’s a great place for families, with multiple kayaks available in different sizes. We really enjoyed the bush walks around the lake and through the surrounding hills. A peaceful getaway and a great place to unwind as a family.

First time staying here but we chose wisely, this place was great, and timed it perfectly, with flowers blooming, warm sunshine during the day and fires still permitted this time of year. I thought it might be busier on school holidays, but not all the appartments were occupied. So there was minimal noise and great access to the lake and kayaks. Beautiful view down to Bunbury. Nice grass area near landscaped gardens and fire pit areas (with plenty of good wood available) in front of the 2-storey apartments. We cooked dinner on the fire and roasted marshmallows. Further potential for landscaping and developments I reckon on the banks of the lake. Fireplace inside was very warming. Close quarters in there but cosy. Love the natural bush and critters and walk trails. We took supplies and walked in to a bbq spot. Restaurant breakfast was delicious. We would have had dinner there too but only limited opening hours. Staff were very welcoming and nice. Overall, it was a great find, better than we expected, and exactly what we needed - good relaxing trip. Highly recommend Evedon. Many thanks.

Beautiful location by the river, perfect place to relax and unwind. The canoes are such a nice touch to be able to go out on the lake. The restaurant was lovely, it really feels like you are in the middle of no where when your literally 20min from town. Absolutely enjoyed my time here, would love to come again 😀

Beautiful spot for lunch, everytime I get visitors to stay I bring them down to Evedon for lunch. Picture perfect scenery, tranquil, a fantastic setting. My sister-in-law who I brought for lunch yesterday is booking into a cabin for a weekend she was so impressed. The waitress service was great, attentive, & professional very pleasant.

A relaxing get away. Lakeside cabin was rustic with many insects but pleasant enough. Really enjoyable morning walks in surrounding bush land…recommend the blue trail. Meals were hit and miss…yummy Fri night pizza, enjoyable brekkie but dinner on our final night was a complete let down. Rubbery, v fatty pork belly was difficult to eat and the prawn/chorizo pasta was awful…pasta had been reheated and was not al dente at all. Go here for the tranquility

Had a wonderful Valentine Dinner. The service was great, the meal was what we both individually liked. And being outside under the vine canopy just added to the feel.

Our Community Group hosted our final Board meeting and staff and volunteers Christmas luncheon at Evedon park and it was a lovely way to spend the day. The Carvery/buffet lunch and sweets were divine and service with a smile always from Tony, Chris and the Evedon team. With scenic views overlooking the dam and a couple of cheeky bevvies and some xmas ham what's not to love. Do yourself a favour and book some time in Burekup- I've been fortunate enough to stay in the onsite chalets as well in the past and it is always a welcome escape from the hustle bustle of life. Had the most amazing dinner for Valentines day. The service was fantastic the meals were filling and delicious, we couldn't have asked for a better night. Thank you to all the staff at Evedon Park.
