Acclaimed by locals for cooking Liberian cuisine at its best, Evelyn’s serves a hearty mix of daily special rice dishes, stews, fresh seafood, local greens and tubers. Liberian jollof, solidly coastal West Africa — mildly spiced but flavorful rice, perfect when accompanied with fried Atlantic fish. The more adventurous Palm Butter served as a creamy (slightly nutty) stew of smoked fish and meat, coming with a large portion of the quintessential plump, short grain rice. An excellent place when seeking the local and authentic, yet accessible.

Very wonderful cooking with great food.

We ordered four soups and fufu. The soup was terrible!!! The soup was tasteless and tasted burned and old like the meat was sitting for a long period of time. It took the food a long time to come out and the food wasn’t hot. The best thing that was ordered was the club sandwich; it was delicious. The French fries here were soaked in oil, very hard and cold. The dry rice wasn’t good either. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this place as a native or tourist; save your money and time!

Evelyn restaurant is a great restaurant where you have varieties of food..there food tastes and looks good. They also have courtoes staff, however the delivery time is quite poor. They told me my food will be ready within 15 minutes but it took them 36 minutes, asides that they are great.
