This is very much a family hotel. Lots of things to keep the kids entertained. We stayed in the park rooms, 3 of us in a room it was quite a small room but we managed as we don’t tend to spend a lot of time in the room. Balcony got the afternoon/evening sun which was a bonus. Rooms were cleaned every day and were comfortable. The food on offer was perfectly fine, always something available for everyone in our party including a child with Coeliac disease, there was a full gluten free menu available and having travelled to various countries and hotels the Evenia Olympic has to be one of the best regarding gluten free food/snacks & ice cream. The facilities on site were very good the water slides, pools and entertainment all good. We enjoyed the singer Ensallia who performed on the pergolia terrace. We always managed to find a sunbed maybe not close to the pool, but sunbeds were stacked up for you to move around and find a spot. My only complaint would be queues at the inside bar. Other than that a great family holiday was had and I would look to return.

Don't listen to the moaners, the hotel is nice, rooms are cleaned daily, food is great, entertainment is great, pools are great, bar staff are friendly, and the 2 ice cream trucks are brilliant for the kids. There is nothing to moan about with this hotel it's one of the better hotels I've stayed in. Beach is a 15 minute fairly easy walk. We could always get a sun lounger whatever time we went to the pool I would definitely go back to this hotel.

Lovely hotel rooms were big enough nice balcony |Swimming pools - brilliant kids loved them |Food - always something good to eat every night there was something different my son is a picky eater and he was fine with everything |Location - 15-20 minutes walk to the town which was fantastic for shopping or something eat, beach is stony so wear some sandals haha|Staff were incredible rooms were kept tidy they all work so hard.|Entertainment - yes 9pm is late but it was good some days the circus act wow! My son was amazed haha||Downside - there was a conference over the weekend and the took over one of the pools and the outside area felt intimidating at times just to go outside where they all were.|Restaurant allocations - our restaurant we got allocated was on the other side even though we had one in our building which was strange and the one we got allocated to was fully of older people that didn't appreciate children I number of times my son who's 9 got pushed out the way and the drinks machine wasn't working a few times, but other parties got treated to bottled of wine we just stuck to water at tea time.|Child friendly - yes and no alot of smoking areas (being a smoker myself) but I could smell smoke in the hotel because people were allowed to sit by the open doors.||Overall it was a brilliant holiday a few minor issues but as long as the weather is great that's a big thing

Location is great. Right next to bars and restaurants outside the hotel itself. We drove there from the airport in a hire car and it was easy to find. ||The Evenia is full of a certain type of British person - when I say "Tattoos and Tetley", you'll know what I mean. Lots of nationalities though, which is always refreshing, hate being in a hotel when its just us and a load of fellow Brits. Feels so uncultured. But Evenia doesn't feel that way - plenty of Germans, French and Spanish. ||The hotel and rooms themselves are just a bit dated - could do with an upgrade, but honestly, we're not the type of family to care much about a luxurious bathroom - if its clean and all works, we're all grand. We didn't have enough towels though - 2 x large towels and 2 hand towels isn't really enough for a family of 4. ||Bedding had the previous occupant's hair in the sheets and blankets - which made me feel a bit icky. Other than that, beds were fine. Rooms were comfy - beware of mozzies getting in though, as soon as you open that balcony door - its like they're ready to pounce! ||Food - day one, and day two, you're like "Oooh this is nice, plenty of choice!" By day 4, you're no longer impressed and everything that needs oil to deep fry, tastes the same - ie. they clearly don't change the oil between each cook/day. For example, the chips taste fresh day one, by day 3 they're awful, you can tell they haven't changed the oil... then day 4 all of a sudden, the chips taste good again. Not that I ate a load of chips, but my beige-food-loving child definitely did! They clearly use the same oil for the chicken nugget and even the donuts! They clearly attempt to save money by re-using the oil a lot. And you can taste it. ||Its weird to say that everything tastes the same... but it kind of does. Its so odd. And they re-use a lot of left over food for the next day (which is fine, I'll all about minimizing waste) - so the "chilli beef" for the nachos in the snack bar, clearly old mashed up burgers from the day before. The mash potato in the main restaurant was gross - clearly made out of left over chips! It literally tasted of chips! The snack bar has a lot of food uncovered, for hours on end. This means flies are all over it, especially the cheese and meats. ||Drinks - great. Couldn't fault them to be honest. Endless soft drinks and water on tap, I don't think I saw a queue longer than 3 people for the outdoor pool bar, in the entire time I was there, which for August is good! I didn't see a queue in the day time, for any other bar, the entire week! Really happy staff, happy to help. Nice wine selection in the main restaurant at dinner and lunch too. ||The slides are fantastic! Beware though, I injured myself, you come down them so quickly, you hit the water at a speedy pace! My kids spent a large majority of the holiday on these slides! Also, I know it sounds daft but I believe this is why my daughter (very fair skinned) got burnt! I put so much factor 50 on her, its stupid, I was constantly doing it - yet I believe the slides wash it off very rapidly - as you come down and hit the water so fast, it almost pressure washes it off! ||Overall - a very pleasant and happy holiday was had by all four of us.

If you are looking for a quiet relaxed break, stop reading now. |We visited with my 2 sons for a short break, age 13 & 17. The pull factor if the fully inclusive package was free entrance to a very large Water world park included. They loved it. There is a a great kids pool on site, that also has small water slides (4). The water world was a short walk if around 10 minutes away. The first day was not as busy, second day the queues were very long, as lots of coaches had arrived, still enjoyable but not as fun. |The hotel is enormous hundreds of rooms. We booked a triple room with balcony, on the side of the hotel with views to the pool, a bit nicer than view of the street. Buffet breakfast was very good with a wide variety of food from a fry up to healthier options. It is loud & noisy with lots of kiddies, so it is child friendly but noisy if you looking for peace & quiet. Lots of parents allow their kids to fill their own plates for all meals and the food wastage was really unbelievable. Dinners were actually quite good with a variety of food, tasty paellas, stews and fish dishes. Dessert stand was really good. We also ate out , some tapas bars close by although we could have explored a bit further, there is lots on offer within close distance. Visited Barcelona for the day today, a coach booked with the rep that left at 9am and returned 4pm, a bit too short, we should have used local transport instead and had more time to explore Barcelona. At £100 return for the 3 of us it worked out at £30 more than public bus would have been. Lovely short break, good weather apart from 1 day of rain. Hotel staff are great and and so busy catering to a very large number of people.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days, and I would like to write a honest review.|The hotel was clean, housekeeping was done every day, and the food was relatively good. Delicious grills were served daily.|All the staff were kind and helpful, but on our last night, Wednesday, September 17th, there was a woman working in the restaurant who treated all of us extremely badly. The woman was old with glasses with light brown hair and I tried to get her name but she kept denying and We were honestly shocked. When we complained about her rude behavior, she responded with even more unacceptable gestures that were simply unbelievable.|We have traveled to many countries around the world and stayed at many hotels, but until that night we had never experienced such unprofessional and offensive behavior from a hotel staff member. Respect for guests should always come first everywhere.|I hope the management pays more attention and evaluates staff more carefully before hiring, because this woman truly ruined our trip with her insulting and unpleasant behavior.|Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel, as other guests might experience the same our bad experience we did

I'm currently here writing a review We are all inclusive but can't get a drink in our hotel unless its lunch or dinner the bar doesn't open till July apparently and have to take a 5 day camel ride to the hotel next door to get a drink this is a shambles! We haven't been here for 24 hours my son has cut his feet twice on the tiles in the pool and my daughter once. The food in the hotel is actually really good and caters for everyone. I advise bringing your own drinks and water shoes . Other than that your all good.

Yelp
A great place to bring children. Good food also But the beds are NOT comfortable. When you are enjoying at this resort for a fe days with your loved ones, for some it may not matter, but the staff is also not that friendly. Front desk and reception have no clue how to greet customers, and I found that the cleaners and room maids were more friendly than the reception staff. Overall, a great place, but dot not expect the local staff to give you any guidance or recommendations.
