Everett Street Diner

This place is 10/5 stars! From the older guy greeting and talking to everyone like we're all old friends, to the super friendly and attentive server, such kindness was unmatched even with how busy they were. The food was absolutely amazing. The best tasting food during our whole week long Bryson City trip. The sweet tea was perfect. I recommend the fajita omelet for breakfast. It was fantastic. Prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this as a must stop for anyone visiting Bryson City.

I've been here every time I'm in town. Everett Street diner if absolutely outstanding every time. The staff from the waitress to the owner are friendly, warm and attentive. The coffees are always topped up, lots of warmth and smiles going around. I ordered the mountain fried steak, it's smoothered with gravy on top. I figured that the bottom might be soggy but it wasn't. Crispy with a pleasant crunch even on the bottom. I ordered the hash browns burnt, it came out golden brown and crispy. The over easy eggs are exactly that, over with a nice jiggle. The biscuit is a savory little pillow. Everything is flavored with good purpose. I devoured everything, left with an empty plate.I will be back over and over

Amazing breakfast, great service and perfect atmosphere with a small town feel. Everything is cooked to perfection. The pancakes are delicious and fill up a whole plate, the biscuits and gravy are homemade and some of the best I’ve ever had. The locals are so friendly to visitors. Wonderful place to eat breakfast!

First time to visit Bryson City and fell in love with the town and this place. You can tell that people on this town are very friendly, but this place has the best staff, it’s awesome the service they offered to the customers, very personalized and makes you feel like home. They even congratulate you if by any chance you’re celebrating something (by singing, etc). The atmosphere is very familiar, they have great pieces of art and decoration and they offer the best breakfast food, the quality of the ingredients is excellent. Can’t stop thinking about the gravy, veggie omelette and biscuit i had, definitely this place has the best hash browns i’ve ever tried, the flavor was super tasty. The portions are really good, they definitely will fill you and you’ll want to come back for more.

We were visiting Bryson City on our annual cabin trip and we walked in at 11:20AM not knowing breakfast ended at 11:30, but the owner allowed us to come in and sit down and be served. Our waitress (Hispanic woman) was very nice. I asked for my French Toast fried hard with egg whites and she made sure the cooks did just that. My friend had the mountain and he said it was a lot of food and delicious. The owner came out and joked and said he had to finish it lol. We were the only African American and hispanic people in the restaurant and the staff made us feel welcomed. The locals stared, but the staff was very friendly. To the staff thank you for treating us with kindness one thing people never forget is how you made them feel. We will definitely be back to visit. I will be telling others about this restaurant as well. The breakfast reminded me of home cooked meal from home in Georgia and it did not disappoint. See y'all again soon. When we first got there, there was a wait. We had about 20 parties in front of us. We were worried we wouldn’t get to try the breakfast. But the owner was extremely friendly and let us know ahead of time that we may not be seated in time for the breakfast menu. Thankfully some parties left and we were able to be seated quicker than we expected. The service was amazing. My husband ordered the country fried steak breakfast and let me just tell you, it was one of the best we had ever tried. I ordered the mountain man breakfast so I could try a little of everything. The portions are HUGE so really we could have shared. Everything was delicious. All of the staff were friendly, and it felt like eating at your grandparents house. We will definitely stop the next time we are in Bryson city. Also let me add. Try the gravy and the sausage. You will not be disappointed.

I think this is very good food. very filling. a very good breakfast place with delicious tastes. i do not know about their lunch menu though, that is why i will give a four. grits are delicious, lots of mountain man and flat lander challenges, and very talkative friendly waiters.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast before our train ride. Fiancee got the Southern biscuit breakfast and I got the sausage gravy with eggs, bacon, grits. Food was delicious, came quickly. Waitress was wonderful and friendly. The owner was there helping the girls out and stopped to make sure everything was good. Wonderful place! Will be a spot to stop if ever in the area again! Make sure you try the relish!
