Came by here while up for a weekend getaway and am so glad we did! We went on Sunday morning, so expected a wait time. The waitlist is taken outside so as to avoid the unnecessary additional people going in and out of the restaurant. We were told the wait would be around 20 minutes, so no problem. We went across the street and looked in a local shop for a few minutes to cut down time spent waiting outside. Once we were back, we sat down outside and were called within a few minutes.
The wait staff here is incredibly friendly and were all wearing masks and gloves. The tables were also obviously spaced out a bit farther than normal, though I would probably honestly prefer a BIT more spacing than was given. This is a very small dining space, though, so they're making do with what they have in the pandemic and I can definitely see the effort being made.
Our table ordered the fried chicken biscuit plate and the French toast plate and a large order of cheese grits. Normally when you get items like that, they come with ONLY that. My biscuit came with three eggs and hashbrowns (or grits) and the French toast came with three eggs and bacon. Everything tasted amazing! The food was fresh, hot and delicious and would absolutely recommend here to try some local flavor if you are in town for a trip. The meal in total, 25% tip included, was $29.00. Considering we got the most expensive breakfast meals on the menu, drinks and added an extra side plus tip, I'm very happy with that total. All in all, a great local spot that I'm glad we found and decided to try out.
