Great visit in the safari park. It is quite hot there, take some water and wear protection. Anti mosquito is also recommended. The general administration tour starts with an airboat tour, then an alligator show and there is a short circular nature trial. Don't forget to take your American beautiful annual pass if you have one. 20$ for a child and 39$ for an adult. They charge an extra 1$ per person, if you pay with a credit card.

In May 2025, we visited the Florida Safari Park and did an airboat road into the Everglades National Park. The airboat ride was super fun to do. After the airboat ride, there was a reptile show and boardwalks to explore through the vegetation and see more reptiles. This was a thoroughly enjoyable day and thank you to Everglades Safari Park for making this possible.

Had a great time. Awesome staff friendly and good atmosphere. I had great breakfast and even tried the gator bites. Very good I enjoyed every moment. Lost of mosquitoes so cover up and if you use repellent it’s highly recommend.

Google
it was fun. Only thing that sucked is that we got there late so we didn't get to experience the whole thing. We were lucky that they let us get on the last air boat ride though. They even waited. Very happy i got to experience it. i forgot the operator's name but a huge thanks to him too.

Swamp vibes, engine roars, and one lazy gator at the end. Everglades Safari Park was a fun ride—literally. The airboat experience was thrilling, loud, and fast… but don’t worry, earplugs are included (and very necessary unless you speak fluent airboat). Wildlife sightings during the ride? A bit underwhelming—no gators in the wild this time, just a lot of hopeful pointing at ripples. The real reptilian action came after the ride, during the gator show, where one sleepy alligator finally made its grand debut like a diva on its own schedule. Still, the whole experience felt well-run and friendly. Great for families and first-timers—just don’t come expecting a National Geographic moment in every splash.

If you are a nature lover you will like it, beautiful views, amazing colors. Many birds species as well as fish. We saw just 3 crocs but maybe it was too hot. Friendly stuff

Google
I chose this place over the others for the guarantee of seeing alligators (at least in captivity). But boy did we sure see a lot of gators in the wild. We saw a total of 6 wild gators and the first one we saw gave us quite the show of catching a huge fish and eating it whole. I liked being able to walk around the park and stretch my legs for a bit also. Took my time reading all the signs and facts about the area. I highly recommend this group, especially if you have kids. Mine were preschool and 2nd grade.

Google
An airboat tour really completes your experience of the everglades. The little crocodile show was fun and she did a great job with the crowd and the animals. We saw a few gators and birds and it was nice and relaxing ride. I guess i was just expecting a bit more of a national park-like experience and education but it's definitely more of a tourist experience which is fine, just manage your expectations. Facilities were great and the restaurant was okay. They add a charge if you use card in the gift shop and they add an automatic 18% gratuity in the restaurant even to a party of one.

Yelp
I flew in from California, and my friend who lives in FL was insistent we go on an airboat tour since I had never been on one. We stopped at this one. It's advertised as "the best" from their sign from the street, but I'd consider it just okay from my experience. We had a group of 4, and paid a little extra to have the private tour for 4. They do offer a military discount. We were honestly underwhelmed? If that's the right way to describe our tour. It was more so a relaxing boat tour. We all had expected the driver to be more tour like as in "To the left there's typically this.... and up here to your right you'll see..." in that sense. But it was a quiet tour. He stopped 1-2 times so we could look at things, but not very much tour-guiding as we expected. I get it the airboat is loud to talk over, but for a private tour we expected a lot more. There's a gift shop and small place to get some food located here on the property. The gift shop charges an additional fee for credit cards if your total is I think it was under $10, so be prepared to have cash handy if you're purchasing an inexpensive souvenir. They do have a show before your tour that's included with gators in their care to make your wait time go by faster. The airboat tour was cool for my first time, but if in the area again I think i'll try a different airboat company to give me a tour.

Yelp
Great place for an airboat tour in the Everglades! the park was really cool too coz there were gators just hanging out! Found 2 baby gators

Yelp
I went with low expectations because this isn't really my kind of thing, but was totally "blown away" by the Everglades Safari Park! We went with my daughters and in-laws on a private one hour boat tour. Manny was our captain and he was OUTSTANDING! He was knowledgeable, experienced and humorous; and clearly enjoys his job. After reading other reviews, I was prepared not to see any alligators as there is no guarantee that you will see any (it is wildlife, and unpredictable, after all), but Manny had a great eye and was able to point out several to us - we never would have seen them on our own. I think we saw five or six- one even swam by our boat, which was very freaky and cool! The wildlife "show" was also really good! The presenter was very dynamic (and brave!) and well educated on her subjects. Side note: if you don't want to be close to a snake, don't sit in the front row! I would definitely recommend the Everglades Safari Park!

Yelp
First time coming here and drove loops around their very small parking lot for 15 minutes trying to find parking with no luck. Would not recommend a business that doesn't have the foresight to have another lot to accommodate the amount of traffic, especially on a weekend.

Yelp
Went to the Safari Park expecting a good time. Received an even better show. Jóse R you handsome devil you....

Yelp
The tour on the bait was good saw a few alligators after the tour there was a presentation with snakes and alligators Overall a pretty good experience

Yelp
We stopped by here on our drive back from the keys. My husband had never been on an airboat before, so we took the opportunity. It was so incredibly hot. Luckily we had sunscreen and everything with us. We were able to get on a boat within 10 minutes, which was awesome. We watched their gator show and walked around the park after. They do offer military discounts too.

Yelp
Great experience. Quick. Easy. We saw alligators and bird. Had a great time. Boat was awesome we saw lots. If you need to check off you to do list riding an airboat it's easy here. Writing this review for the sole purpose of letting everyone know about ride share. You can get an Uber to drop you off here. We were unable to get an Uber to pick us up. We were able to get a Lyft back. Be warned it took us about 20 -25 min to get a ride. Plan accordingly. It's also the Everglades so not a lot of 5G. Gift shop has wifi though.

Yelp
We hired an air boat for a private tour for my husband and I. Manny was our "Captain", and did an amazing job. He told us so much about the Everglades, the ecosystem, the edible plants, non-edible plants, the leaves that keep mosquitoes away, the history...pretty much everything you thought you wanted to know plus more. After our tour, we watched a show with live alligators. We learned that alligators don't specifically hunt humans, but they will attack if they feel threatened or their babies are threatened. There is also a boardwalk area where you can see wild alligators. Overall a super cool place!!!

Yelp
If you haven't been on an airboat tour of the everglades, this is worth doing. A little touristy, but fun and educational. This provider is one of 3 sanctioned by the National Park Service. We did the group tour, which was more affordable than the private tour, and it was just fine and not overly crowded. We found our guide to be pleasant and knowledgable. We saw many gators, but only a few species of birds. In addition to the airboat ride, there is also a show where you see some gators in captivity, a big snake, and a baby gator named Snappy. You can have your picture taken with Snappy, for a small donation. There is also a small nature trail/walk which you can take and see more gators, birds and plants. All in all worth doing. The gift shop was not that impressive, and the restaurant was convenient, but perhaps the worst grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had. It was not grilled, only warm white bread with some melted cheese.
google avatar

April D.

Yelp
The boat ride itself was kind of fun, but if you want a private boat, you need to book in advance, and there are definitely more authentic, non-corporate places than this one. The group boat was crowded, we had to wait for quite a while to board, and they make you attend an "alligator show" before you get on the boat, which is just a weird kind of sad display of alligators and snakes held in captivity. The boat ride was mostly just searching for alligators, not learning much more about the Everglades or seeing other interesting things. I liked our boat captain--he made it more fun than it would have been otherwise. Felt like a tourist trap, not recommended.

Yelp
We stopped here on our way to the Everglades National Park Visitor Center (Shark Valley) we ended up spending the day here instead. My kids loved the experience, we enjoyed the airboat ride and saw a few alligators. The show was okay but again the kids loved it. Overall we had an amazing day and we would come back.

Yelp
Such an awesome place. It's a great experience to ride on a different kind of boat compared to a traditional boat since your in a swamp. The nice thing is it doesn't small since the water is constantly flowing slow but still flowing. We got to see a couple of alligators on our ride but I herd it's not guaranteed. They have a show and place you can them after the boat ride if you choose to go look. Overall experience is great if you are looking to do something interesting and fun outdoors with your family!
google avatar

Filipe F.

Yelp
Greeted by Vesenia and then taken on the tour with captain Ray. The ride was smooth, instructive and funny. Plenty of time for images and learning. I recommend coming early in the morning. Boat wasn't full weather was perfect.
google avatar

Jason C.

Yelp
Booked online, the boat ride is around 40 minutes and there's no guaranteed that you'll see any alligator during the boat trip. The boat as signs that says "Captain works for tips", while you don't have to give them tips, it's something to consider. Once you get off the boat, you can go see the animal show - which consisted of them showing you the a snake, caged alligator and an opportunity to take photo with a baby gator. But, if you want to take a photo, then you'll need to pay in cash, so make sure you have exact change. Thereafter that, you can walk through the trail and if you are lucky, you can see some gators in the ponds. Overall, the boat ride was worth it, just don't go in July as it was hot!

Yelp
Another National Park down! This river part of the Everglades is not how people describe it. It is beautiful, peaceful!, not dirty, and not full of mosquitoes! Our tour guide Geo was amazing and super funny! He always made sure to keep a look out for all the fun Everglades creatures. We saw 5 alligators, a couple of really cool birds, and a gopher tortoise. Proceeding the 90 minute airboat tour, we got to see an alligator show! It was so cute seeing the alligators, plus I even got to hold Snappy! Fun fact: did you know, the Florida Everglades is the only place in the world where crocodiles and alligators coexist? Another fun fact: Those natural geographic tv shows/ movies/ documentaries are all STAGED! They take a tamed animal and "put it in the wild" to make it seem like it's in its natural habitat.

Yelp
One of the larger air boat tour facility, alligator show, snack shop and souvenir stand. They have huge group air boats that hold around 20 people. We opted to pay the extra for the private tour that took the four of us on a smaller boat. It was pricey, $300.00, for an hour tour plus $20.00 Federal park entrance fee. But it was worth it. Our boat captain was named Gio and he was awesome. He explained the differences between alligators and crocodiles. He brought us to various spots where we viewed large male and smaller female alligators. We were brought near to a alligator nest that contained eggs and was well guarded by mama alligator and poppa was also sunning near by. He took us all around the park, stopping and narrating at various spots. Overall it was very educational and a ton of fun. If you want to take one of these tours, I recommend this one and go with Gio.

Yelp
Everglades Safari Park is a nice little excursion when in the area. After driving by several times I finally decided to see what this Airboat thing is all about. There are several airboat tours in the area and I am not sure what sets this one apart from the others but it seemed legit. The process to get through the attraction is pretty straight forward. We purchased the general tickets (as opposed to the $250+ private tour) which places you on a large airboat with roughly 20 other people sitting in rows of 5. The boat is loud and you are handed earplugs. The captain navigates the boat through the meandering Everglades, stopping occasionally to identify wildlife. The ride is cool and breezy when it gets up to speed. After the ride returns there is a short boardwalk trail through the park on which you will see several gators both captive and wild. Be vigilant as gators pop up all over the trail and are sometimes inches away from your feet with no barrier. There is also a show at the end of the tour where you can hold and pose with baby gators. All in all a good way to spend a few hours when passing through the Everglades.

Yelp
Never been to the Everglades or on an airboat so I wanted to check it out. The tour was awesome with lots of great information from the guide. The airboat was a lot of fun and we saw some gators. After there's a gator show and nature walk. Also a restaurant and gift shop. This place was great, definitely for kids and families
google avatar

Yelp
They accommodated a group of 31 of us. We are a Boy Scout troop from California. They gave us a discount because we are tax exempt and a 501(c) We did the 40 min airboat. Guide was very informative and entertaining. We ended up seeing only 1-2 gators. But the high speed airboat was fun. And seeing the everglades was interesting and beautiful in its own way. Bring sunblock or wear longsleeves or else you will get sun burned. No mosquitoes however! That surprised me. Everglades water is fresh water. it's not a swamp, it's a river. Alligator show was cheesy but fun for little kids.

Veronica B.

Yelp
This place was amazing!!! Did a private airboat tour and it was the highlight of our Miami trip. They are located a few miles outside the Everglades national park, shark valley entrance. We weren't going to do an airboat tour, but drove by and decided to stop by. Went on a Wednesday and did the 40 minute private airboat tour. Our guide was Gio and we can't say enough good about him. Knowledgeable, funny, and took us to all the good spots to see gators. We even saw babies in their natural habitat! Their alligator show at the park was fun and informative. We will definitely be back when in the area. Thanks Gio!!!

Yelp
Ran into a gator, but he couldnt tell me how the Gatorade is made! This was actually extremely exciting! Im from Arizona so thos Everglades swamp gator life is waaay different to me. The airboat captain told some pretty good jokes! Saw a big ass bird catch a fish out the water! Crazy wild life with a touch of humidity! I kept an eye out for Swamp Thing but homie must have not been home. Plus, I found out that the python is the alfa in the glades and they got bounties on thier heads! Get to huntin boys!!!
google avatar

Leslie P.

Yelp
The Everglades Safari Park was fantastic!!! The nature guides were so friendly and provided so much great information. The alligator show is so educational and exciting, while the boat show is relaxing and stunning. I highly recommend this excursion!
google avatar

Linda S.

Yelp
This was an experience to remember. The boat ride was fun and even fun trying to spy gators in the swamp. It was hard, but fun. The show after was nice too. One of the highlights of my trip to florida!
google avatar

Solange S.

Yelp
I just took the Day Safari and it was incredible!! I saw and learned things most locals will never know! If you live in Miami, take this tour!! It is worth every dime!!
google avatar

Joe C.

Yelp
Pretty solid. It was very swampy and smelled like a M:TG tournament. The airboat ride was probably the best part, although I am officially ready to not have boat captains try out their tight five to a literal captive audience. If you're funny you're funny, and if you're not, you're an asshole if you try. Just be authentic. For that matter, when you greet a group of people and get a tepid response, and then go with "Let's try that again, how's everyone doing today?" you should immediately be handcuffed, given a cigarette and a blindfold, put up in front of a cement wall, and have people shoot your unprotected body with paintballs until you agree to never do it again. Saw some gators and birds and shit. It was nice.

Yelp
Came here with my dad. It was about an hour or less from Miami Beach. So not too far. Come cool things to look at on the way. We did the fan boat tour. Which was around 2 hours. Saw a bunch of gators along the way, it's loud so they make you put on ear plugs. It was such a unique and amazing experience. After the tour you can walk on the premises and then do a live show where they feed the monster gators and have snakes and other wildlife there. At the end you can opt to hold a baby gator for a price. In which I did. Gators are the scariest thing in the world to me. And to hold one in my hand was overcoming one of my worst fears. After all this we ate at the cafe. And had gator bites. Not a fan. It's like chicken but a little fishier. Not my cup of tea but still ate them all. I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
I visited here with my friend while on vacation. We found this place on Groupon. The boat ride was pretty cool and we got to see an momma alligator and her nest. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any others. I learned that they are mostly out when it's cooler which is early morning in summer or in the winter months. We did get to see alligators in the actual park area. We were told that they would soon be getting rid of all their alligators as they are no longer allowed to be kept there. We got a see a nice show with 3 alligators before walking around. People were allowed to get a picture with a baby alligator that was held by staff. Overall, good experience.

Jackie R.

Yelp
Tourist trap with rude staff in EVERY direction-so many better options for an authentic and enjoyable airboat experience.
google avatar

Max C.

Yelp
I was conversating with a very kind employee when this aggressive man came up to me and started yelling at me to lower my tone, even though I was having a normal friendly conversation. He needs to be fired with his negative attitude
google avatar

Yelp
One of the coolest experiences ever. I'm a huge Archer fan, so the minute my partner told me we were going on an airboat ride in the Everglades I completely freaked out. I, too, channeled my inner Burt Reynolds and was psyched for my Gator adventure. It was exactly as amazing and beautiful and thrilling as I expected it to be. Airboats are super loud, but they provide earplugs (very considerate), and our boat captain was awesome at pointing out the wildlife. He spotted every turtle, alligator, and various other creatures along the way. After we got back to the park there was an educational discussion about alligators - they breed them in captivity right there at the park as well. You could even hold a little baby alligator for $3, which I didn't do - I was too excited to explore the grounds. Absolutely worth the drive. Thanks, Everglades Safari Park!

Nate W.

Yelp
They took away my chicken tenders when I was like halfway done and that made me very angy

Yelp
We had a wonderful time here. I recommend renting the private boat if you have a group. Our guide/Captain Lou was fun and informative.
google avatar

Adam L.

Yelp
Since we went during the Covid spike, we booked the private airboat tour for 6 people; this was good because we got to take things at our own pace. Our guide was knowledgeable of the area and spotted a couple of alligators for us (we saw 3-4 alligators in the wild which was less than I expected). We also saw soft shell turtles, fish, birds, sour apple trees, etc. There is also a trail around an artificial looking lake that's filled with alligators so you'll definitely see some there. Note that the airboat is pretty loud so they risky give you / recommend you to wear earplugs. When you get out, the water reflects the sky in a really cool mirror like fashion. BUG SPRAY IS ESSENTIAL or wear LONG pants- you will have a bad experience if you come unprepared!!!

Dani E.

Yelp
I was honestly so displeased I am writing a review because ridiculous doesn't even begin to cover. First of all, has nothing to do with the ticket booth girl she is only doing her job and was actually sweet and understanding. My only problem is with the sheer stupidity of getting a voucher through groupon and not being accepted the same day. Explain to me how a company in 2023 decided it was fine to put this very crucial fact ONE time in Additional Info and no where else only the fine print of course. If it was stated better I would of rather not make the 45 minute drive and wait to go the next day or maybe just maybe buy it there. I would understand a need for 1-2 or even 4 hour processing time, but why would it take a WHOLE day to process again IN 2023. Ridiculous for me to pay almost $100 for 2 people and not even get to enjoy it the day of. Fix your groupon listing to not be some sneaky last minute sentence. Be better.

Yelp
Had a blast on the airboat ride and walking through the "park". Didn't see as many gators as I expected on the boat ride. But there we plenty in the park and at the dock. The employees were great, very friendly and knowledgeable. I had gone on another tour a few years ago and there were so many gators around it made me a little nervous, I had hoped to see the same this time & terrify my kids. We had fun, low stress, decent value.

Yelp
Went to this place after booking with Buffalo Tiger Airboat Tours because the Buffalo Tiger place was closed when we arrived for our tour. Luckily, this place was just down the road so we went here. They get one star for being open and having tickets available and another star for their gift shop (which was little, but open) and they have a small restaurant. The boat ride itself was very underwhelming. We booked a group tour for 40 min. It was $80 for 2 people. It was super hot, no shade on the boats. And we did not get to see any alligators up close. The tour guide claimed he saw 2 gators in the weeds, but literally no one else on the entire boat ride saw them. He stopped for a solid 2 min to have people look for them, but still no one saw them. Then he saw 1 other gator and people we actually able to see that one, but the tour guide didn't stop at all for that one for anyone to actually see it or get a picture; which is why I don't have any gator pictures from the boat ride. It seemed like everyone else was also unimpressed. There is no guarantee that you will see any wild gators, but like when we had the chance to see one, the guide didn't even stop the boat for us to look at it. After the boat ride they offer an "alligator and snake show" but all it is is one of the wranglers holding a snake around her neck and then her going into their alligator enclosure and telling you about the gators, which are just captive gators they have. There was no feeding or anything. They didn't even get the gators to open their mouths. After the "show" you can take a picture with a baby alligator (you can't hold it) for $3. We did not do that. You can also walk around their nature trail which consists of some more exhibits of captive gators and a crocodile. The enclosures for the captive animals look pretty bad and small. On the nature trail you can see more of the natural everglades and if you're lucky spot a wild gator (but we did not get to see one). Overall a total tourist trap. Saw one wild gator for about half a second from far away, and then just saw what I could have seen had I gone to the zoo. I would not recommend this tour at all, maybe I was just unlucky and had an unlucky tour day, but for the money I definitely did not think it was worth it at all. I was very excited to get to go on a boat tour in the everglades (it was what i was most looking forward to while in Florida) and see wild gators and this tour left me more than disappointed.

Yelp
This business advertises a 30-40 minute Airboat Tour for $28/adult ($25/adult if you buy the tickets online). I'd say it's definitely worth the money. Our ride was definitely longer than 40 minutes, and I enjoyed every exhilarating minute of it. The airboat captain was quite humorous and knowledgeable. Make sure to tip your airboat captain, as that's apparently how they are able to sustain a living this way. After the airboat ride, you are allowed to check out the rest of the park (including a live amphibian/reptile exhibit and gator/crocodile pits, as well as gators in the wild) before being allowed to attend a brief but entertaining "gator show" with 4 gators/crocodiles (forgot how many of each). Among other things, the host of the show demonstrates the terrifying biting power of his 4 darling beasts. Upon conclusion of the gator show, you will be given the *option* to briefly hold a baby gator (aptly named "Snappy"). Exercising this option requires payment of a suggested $3 "tip" (I got the *strong* feeling it was really more of a non-optional fee). Poor bastard had his snout strapped shut. I suspect he would (understandably) have taken off all our fingers if it were not said safety strap. As one might expect, there is VERY spotty cell reception in this area. There is also a restaurant on-site, which sells gator bites.

Yelp
So many years living locally and I can't believe I didn't make it out here sooner. Beautiful park, friendly staff, informative show and gorgeous airboat ride through the Everglades.

Yelp
This place was fine, but in June really boring. It was kinda pretty riding on the boat but we only saw one American egret(no other animals) . The alligator show much more entertaining. Didn't give any information upon check in and not much from the tour guide either.

Yelp
5 star for experience and activities (Airboat ride, Gator show and to hold alligator). Awesome guides for activities. $3 to hold baby alligator in hand. 1 star for food in their restaurant. So don't eat here. Just enjoy the ride and leave back to miami for good food.

Yelp
Everglades Safari Park is a cool way to spend a portion of your day down here in the Miami area. Whether you are a Floridian visiting for the first time or a tourist on vacation, I'd say this place is worthwhile for everyone. I met a few friends down here who were visiting from out of town. Since no one of us had ever been on an airboat (funny, we grew up in the 1980's watching the Police Academy movies)....this was an exciting chance for us to experience it all here in the Everglades! Upon arriving midday, we purchased tickets for a 1pm tour. Since we were a half hour early, there was an opportunity to walk around the grounds, soaking up the scenery and spotting some gators hanging out in the water and ponds. This was a nice moment to bask in the swampy waters, immersing ourselves in the tropical elements and grabbing some pre-tour photos. Although I had read from other visitors that you watch the gator interaction after you experience your airboat ride, for us....we initially started with the demonstration and then got out on the waters. So yes...after entering past the ticket counter, you then sit down in circular type bullring with benches all around, and you watch a 20 minute presentation where a professional trainer gets inside a giant cage with roughly 12 giant gators surrounding him. The expert interacts with the gators and talks about their lives and behaviors. This for me was the best part of the park. I give the gator expert credit, he performed all sorts of demonstrations and truly showed no fear exhibiting a true sense of how gators can be handled with care. It was incredible....he brought out a bucket of chicken with bones, meat and carcasses and it was remarkable how the gators knew it was feeding time as they cautiously surrounded him. The expert explained how gators use their mouths and snapping ability to crush their prey. You could sense there was a mutual respect between the guide and the gators. It was pretty evident that when carefully handled, gators can be wondrous to learn about. The show won me over! Afterwards, before heading out on the airboat tour, they offer for a small fee to take a photo handling and holding a baby alligator...as a little memento. I thought this a great souvenir idea! Your group waits in line before boarding the boats and virtually everyone paid the $3 fee for the photo....even myself who's scared of handling any reptiles, lol. Onto the airboat, finally! Here it was just okay. The experience was nothing special. At first it's nice to go fast and feel the blowing winds. Point of the ride is to get out on the swaps and spot gators. Unfortunately we saw just a sparing of gators in the waters. From the boat, you don't get too close for realistic photo opportunities. This was disappointing. Yeah, the driver and guide will talk about the surroundings and answer any of your questions, but you don't encounter much wildlife, unless you take birds into account. The thought of encountering gators in their natural elements was a little too imaginary for us. Still...it was pleasant to finally get out on those coveted airboats and witness what the tale was all about, even if a little underwhelming. The boat tour lasted for about 45 minutes, then when combined with the gator show beforehand and walking around the Safari Park grounds...we spent roughly 2 hours there. All in all, I'd say this was a positive experience for myself and my friends. We got some great pictures of us all on the airboat. The gator show was exciting as well having the chance to hold a gator. Also, we visited on a beautiful spring day and the weather was perfectly sunny and not yet too hot. The only letdown was not confronting enough gators on the airboat ride. But like I mentioned at the beginning, I still enjoyed my time here and I'd recommend stopping on by for those who have never experienced the backdrop and setting of the swamps here in the Florida Everglades.

Yelp
The tour of the Everglades on their wide long boats was fun. The tour guide was funny and very knowledgeable. The boat traveled very quickly at times which was cool, he even did some drifting. We saw several gators along the way and learned about the Everglades. The park you walk around had many gators. The amphitheater was an interesting show but having to pay 3 bucks just to get a picture with Snappy was lame.

Yelp
I'd recommend this tour. We were lucky enough to see some alligators. They were hiding from us though but I managed to snap a picture or two. The tour guide was very informative and the tour lasted about 30 min. After that they had an alligator show which was nice.

Yelp
This review is for the gift shop and the rude older lady who works there. This experience ruined my visit that I left the park right after. The older lady who works at the gift shop was extremely rude. They charge you $1 extra every $50 dollars spent with a credit card, only aware of this when I looked at my receipt and saw a credit card fee charged TWICE. I bought a tee ($22) and a sweatshirt ($35) and when I asked, the lady replied with such an attitude saying "ONE PLUS ONE EQUALS TWO!!"..and began to weirdly berate me. I inquired if every $50 means I would have to spend $100 to get charged twice. And she rudely pulled out a card that was BEHIND the register and showed me a chart and yelled at me again. She needs to work on her customer service and vocabulary. Embarrassing, I would not stop here and visit the shop unless you want to be yelled out by a cranky old lady.

Yelp
We chose the 2nd airboat tour option. This felt much safer since the only other person on the boat besides our group was the captain and he maintained a safe distance from us. Even though it was too hot to see many gators Lou made our airboat ride so fun! Our friends who chose the general/1st option said their ride wasn't as exciting as our experience with Lou. He made the ride so much fun and we felt safe. On our way back we caught a couple of unexpected sightings of gators trying to cool off in the summer heat. Wear sunscreen and bring bug spray. I'm definitely coming back!

Yelp
The boat ride was eh. It was a cool breeze on a hot day. Boat captain lacked energy and seemed like he didn't want to be there. The gift shop lacked variety. The tickets aren't cheap and, yet, they really buckle and dime you. 'The boat captain works for tips only'. They take pics like Disney, price isn't horrible... Tips are asked for on everything u do. Pic with an alligator was only $3. I guess I just expected less tourist trap and more wildlife tour.

Yelp
Enjoyed the everglades tour! It was amazing to see gators and at the same time learn more about nature. They also provide earplugs, which I very much appreciate. So happy I got to add this to my National Park stamp book collection. Parking: Free parking. We didn't have a hard time to look for one since the area is quite big. Staff: They are knowledge and so friendly. Restroom: They have outside but it's not that well maintained.
