I have started going to EVF in UES around April or May of 2021. I have been doing only the EVF360, which is no-barbell HITT/Crossfit class. I have nothing but positive experience with them. At the beginning, I was a bit anxious and embaressed, as I have put on a lot of weight during the lockdown and with the pandemic, so I was not sure if I would be able to do it, but Matt has been great. He does push you and encourages you and cheers for you when you are doing well. EVF360 attendants are from different fitness level, so I no longer feel embaressed to attend, and I have been a frequent since then. I am slowly starting to get the homey feel of CrossFit, and I hope I will continue to come back. I wanted to start a fitness program to get in slightly better shape for a strenious mountain trekking trip in Africa, and I felt the class has tremendously helped me boost my confidence, and push myself on the mountain, and it was a sucess. The space looks a bit older and has no windows, however the equipements are in great condition and they have wide variety and enough space even for a larger crowd, although would be nice if the space was. bit more organized but this does not bother me. Matt, Chris and Alex all move around and make sure to spot you. Please give it a shot, and be patient and try to come back even if you felt the first class was tough, I promise you will enjoy it.
