Service is great. Food was delicious. To start we enjoyed the fried green beans and for our mains we had the carne Asada tacos with street corn and the royal with cheese with onion rings. We also enjoyed the Patton Pilsner and a flight of various options. prices are a little steep in our opinion, but food was enjoyable and fresh tasting.

Evil Czech Brewery is an interesting location. Throw your expectations out the window, this place is in a league of its own. There's a lot of little details between the menu and the ambience of the location itself, and you can tell there was a lot of care and thought put into every detail. The logo emblem is actually a barbarian, which is the historical Greek term to describe Celtic people/tribes that also settled on the Czech lands during the iron age. It's a unique nod to the ancestral history of the Czech peoples and the owner. I think our expectation was pub food to some degree, but also hoped for cultural eats as well. Some of the menu items are very unique and not commonly found at other restaurants... however, some items are labeled in a way that you may expect them to be like the industry standard, only for it to be completely different. They have a menu item called "beer cheese" that they serve with some entrees and appetizers. Industry standard beer cheese is served hot and in golden liquid form... theirs is served cold, thick with cream cheese and beer mixed in for flavor. It is not what we were expecting at all. Not at all. Technically this item is really "pub cheese", which is a cheese spread/dip and served cold. It's delicious. Their "Nogales Egg Rolls" are essentially Southwest Egg Rolls, and they are tasty! Nogales is a town in Arizona, which is a really unique detail, so there may be some connection. The interior design of the restaurant is intriguing and very well planned. There's plenty of unique artwork, signage, photos, and furniture. I really have to shout out the owner(s) here because they have incredible vision. I think they have done well to become a staple for visitors and their community, and you can tell how much they genuinely care about their guests. This is a place you want to spend time at with friends and family. The experience at Evil Czech is something to behold, and I recommend everyone to check it out!

Google
1st timers in town for the ND Game and stopped in to check out what this brewery was all about! I don’t think the staff was expecting such a large football crowd for Friday lunch but the place was packed. It was really great to see the hostesses and bartender helping the waitresses hold everything together. I ordered the Caesar salad and the full size was so filling! The dressing is made in house and the salad included fresh artichokes which is hard to find! My partner did the lunch all you can eat and really enjoyed being able to try everything on the menu in smaller portions! He specifically enjoyed the burgers! Overall I would recommend Evil Czech. Staff were friendly, food was good, and the bar atmosphere was cool/well decorated.

Google
The service was very good. The food tasted good. I felt it was a little over priced for the portion sizes. The atmosphere was cool. I liked the decor. It was very clean. The pretzel appetizers were really interesting. They are long instead of a normal pretzel shape.

I’ve been to Evil Czech a bunch of times now, and honestly, it’s one of the few places that’s consistently solid no matter when you go. The service is always great: everyone there seems on top of things, super friendly, and just generally in a good mood. You can tell they actually care that you’re having a good time. Drinks show up fast, food comes out hot, and even when the place is packed, they manage to keep things moving smoothly. As far as food goes, I’ve got a few favorites I keep coming back to. The Mac Daddy mac & cheese is ridiculousness cheesy, smoky, and just plain comfort food perfection. The pork belly tacos are easily some of the best around, a combo of sweet and crispy pork with the sauce they use just hits right every time. I’ve tried their burgers and a couple of appetizers, and I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad bite of anything here. They’ve got a fun beer list too. I usually go for a beer flight so I can try a few different ones, the seasonal stuff is usually really good. The vibe of the place is just easygoing. It’s lively, kind of loud in a good way, and you can go with friends, family, or even for a casual date and it fits.

Google
Giving this five stars though the beer was just okay. Best pub food I’ve had in a long time. My husband and I shared the chicken and waffle sandwich and the “Smoke Me Out”. I’d be happy to go back and have the chicken and waffles for breakfast in the morning. Service was also great (Dani?). Happy we came here instead of the “place on the river”, where we ate the last time we were passing by on I-80.

Google
"A Hidden Gem in South Bend: Where Craft Beer Meets Comfort Food" Nestled beside a charming putt-putt golf course in South Bend, Indiana, this upscale brewery shatters the typical dive bar stereotype with its immaculate presentation and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you pull into the abundant parking lot and are greeted by the friendly host, you know you're in for something special. The star of my feast was the chicken and waffle sandwich – a playful twist on a Southern classic. While the waffle was slightly modest in size and featured two crispy tenders rather than a more substantial cut, the flavors harmonized beautifully. The golden-brown waffle provided a sweet foundation, creating that magical sweet-and-savory dance that makes this combination so irresistible. The beer-battered fries deserve their own spotlight – perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy within, and seasoned just right. They're the kind that make you keep reaching for "just one more" until you're suddenly staring at an empty basket. But oh, those wings! They arrived in a state of crispy perfection, glistening with a mysterious sauce that hit all the right notes. Each bite delivered that satisfying crunch before yielding to tender, juicy meat underneath. At $15 for ten pieces, they're worth every penny. The craft beer selection is impressive, with each sample offering its own unique personality. The bartender's engaging personality and deep knowledge of their brews adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the tasting experience. At $50 all-in (including a beer, sandwich with fries, and wings), it's not the cheapest meal in town, but the quality justifies the price point. The clean, organized space, complete with a lobby shop full of collectibles, elevates the entire experience beyond your typical brewery visit. Recommendation: This is absolutely a must-visit spot in South Bend. Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast or simply seeking a quality meal in a welcoming atmosphere, you won't be disappointed. Bring friends, order those wings, and make time for putt-putt afterward – it's the perfect recipe for a memorable evening out. Overall Rating: 4.5/5 - A delightful blend of quality food, excellent service, and inviting ambiance that makes you want to return again and again.

First time here and I loved it the moment I walked in. Great vibes, and friendly faces. This is easily the best Cubano sandwich I have ever had, not to mention the beer. The star of the show though was our server Ashley P. We showed up with a whole lacrosse team and families, and she handled it without a hiccup. Food was timely, bills were split simply, it couldnt have been better. Thank you for a great night!

Yelp
When we arrived we were immediately welcomed and seated. The vibe of this place is like if Ozzie Osborne had a closet in the Czech Republic and Frank Zappa stopped by to visit. Needles to say it's a cool vibe! Our server was on it! She was friendly, attentive and efficient. Thank you Corrinia! You're the best! On to the food and drinks. My friend ordered a peach cocktail that tasted like boozy peach pie, yum! She also got a flight of beer that came in a really cool holder that looked like a horn from a cool metal music video! I had the cauliflower tacos and they were a layered flavor bomb with texture brought in from the pepitas and double shell! Yum!!! My friend got truffle Mac and cheese and we shared an artichoke dip. The cheese was a matrix medley of yum and the truffle/ artichoke was on point!! Yum yum! Before I head back to LA I will be back! Thank you corrinia and evil Czech for such a great experience. The bear would approve!!!

Yelp
I ordered the Ho Chi Minh pizza and the Greek side salad. Both were quite good, the pizza was about a serving and a half or 2 for me (like a small frozen pizza size). Toppings were good and flavorful and a really creative combination. The salad was really quite good - the caper berries were delicious, onions, tomato and greens all in good shape and seemed fresh. Really enjoyed it, perfect size too for a side salad I did a to go order so can't fully review their service, although I will say I put in my credit card online and apparently it didn't go through so they had me pay again at the counter. The guy helping me said this has happened before, so maybe try calling in an order instead of using their website. I have to wait a day or two before I see if my card has been charged twice or not. The staff were all nice, but this was annoying to deal with.

Yelp
Outstanding food, great atmosphere, and excellent service. That being said I was not impressed with the Rip N Dip. Wish we tried something else. The Voodoo Shrimp Tacos however were amazing, loved every bite! The chicken and waffles also come recommended.

Yelp
Came here when visiting to meet my husband's friend for dinner. We got there just in time as the Notre Dame football crowd came pouring in shortly after we got a table. While it was an absolutely packed, this place ran like a well oiled machine. Our server was so prompt and the food came out in timely fashion. The wedge salad was pretty good but the carne aside tacos stole the show. My husband loved the beer and his friend said the wings were delicious. Overall super impress with this place and enjoyed the vibes. We'd go back for sure!
google avatar

Roberto S.

Yelp
I traveled to South Bend to watch my Syracuse Orange get Crushed by Notre Dame. Our first night we stopped here for dinner. I tried a flight of beers to start and each was good. I'm not an IPA fan but they had many other choices. We started with a spinach artichoke dip. It's was decent. They only bring you a few pieces of bread to dip it and try to charge you extra for more. We instead used the pizza crust to dip. The pizza is wood fired and was ok. I was a little disappointed. We had a sausage and veggie, nothing to write home about. I would however give 5 stars to the wings. They were fantastic. Get all the dipping sauces though. Service was quick and friendly. The restaurant was clean. Looked they had a cool outdoor area for the summertime. I have said this on multiple reviews but this place is more like 3 1/2 stars but Yelp still doesn't allow it.

Yelp
Food was delicious! The bbq wings, carne asada tacos and Greek salad with brisket was good.

Yelp
Pretty good beer selection and a decent food selection make this a spot we try to go to when we're in town. Good service in a College town brewery.

Yelp
I'll come back and try their food sometime. But getting a 1 star due to service. Came in on Sunday at 1, first time ever coming here-- hostess doesn't say anything about it being brunch buffet only. We sit down and waiter kinda stares at us and was like uhh it's only brunch. He says--So you go get stuff then come sit back down. He then went on to say a lot of people leave and I just asked so when does brunch end? And he's like 2:30-so if you really want to sit here for an hour and half be my guest. Like I was really lookin forward to trying this place and we get a smartass waiter for no reason. Didn't even try to sell the brunch just basically was waiting for us to leave. So be warned avoid Sunday's if you want to have their normal menu and I'm not sure how the brunch worked because no one explained it , we may have stayed and even tried it. I would have been totally fine had the waiter just said "hey first time here? No worries so on Sunday's fill 2:30 is a brunch buffet only--they serve an assortment of stuff etc etc, here's how it works and how much it costs totally understand if you're not interested ". I was just really surprised how crappy the waiter was and not even trying to sell it to us just hated that we had no idea what was going on and was like eh do whatever .

Yelp
A very fun vibe. It's definitely beer centric though I had a vg old fashioned. This place came highly recommended and it didn't disappoint. Great selection of beers. No frills service but it would out of place here. I had a beer in addition to the old fashioned. Jason the bartender was stellar. He managed to keep everything calm in what I can only describe as controlled chaos. His recommendations were first rate. For my meal I had the Shrimp tacos which were fantastic. I ordered two and could only finish one. They are quite large and generously stuffed with shrimp. Very very good. I will come back next time I'm in South Bend.

Yelp
We were visiting town for the holidays and were gifted a date night here by our family, and we were so impressed. The food was amazing, probably some of the best we have ever had. We ordered the Mushroom Truffle Mac and Cheese, the Arrabbiata Pizza, and the Spinach and Artichoke Dip. Our server was very kind and helpful with our menu questions, and the kitchen staff even gave us a sample of something with truffle oil since we had never tried it before. They truly went above and beyond, which we did not expect. We will definitely return when we come back to town. Thank you so much.
google avatar

Todd R.

Yelp
I was excited to have lunch at Evil Czech. I'd never been there before. I ordered an arabiatta pizza. Well..my take on their pizza is mehhh. It was nicely spicy, the crust was ok, but there was hardly any cheese on it. Sort of like a very thin (cracker like) pizza with sauce and pepperoni. I've had more cheese on a generic cheap store bought frozen pizza. For the price...I expect better. The staff was nice but slow and sort of disinterested. It wasn't busy at all and the interior was nice.

Yelp
Seated promptly. Alyssal is wonderful. Checked on us often and took care of our every need. Great server and ambassador to Evil Czech Brewery & Pub! Food was outstanding. Beer selection was wide and tasty.

Yelp
(See previous reviews) The staff are still amazing!! I used to love to go here when I lived in Alaska and came 4 times a year i would make EC part of my trip home, when I lived in Chicago, Florida, Iowa, the same. I no longer look forward to coming and have given multiple one more chances. why? The quality. If you have never been to EC go... its great. If you are an OG cry. The new chef? owners? someone has lowered the quality of products and the menu is boring. When I ordered an appetizer it had Blue Cheese, i had one bite and made a bet with the manager that if its not the same I get it free, i got it free. I saw a burger come by and I called her back over and asked what happened to the burgers. They stopped using meat from Bourbon and Butcher. Come on Evil Czech I WANT TO BE A CUSTOMER

Yelp
Evil Czech is an unexpected pleasure that we discovered in the burgh of Mishawaka. Both a brewery and restaurant, it has a surprisingly good menu with a variety of options including salads, their signature barbecue meats, and more. The local brews are a spot-on complement to the food, pub entrees that have great style without a hint of pretension at all. It's appreciated that the salads are offered in two sizes to suit your appetite at the moment. The wing menu comes in a variety of flavors that are anything but ordinary including one selection that incorporates four different kinds of peppers (be sure to order your beverages before tucking into this one). They also have several kinds of tacos and I chose the special of the night, tempura fried shrimp with a spicy salsa. They were awesome. Don't miss dessert here. The white rabbit cake is made with parsnips but it has the taste and texture of a carrot cake with clove and cinnamon spices and a fluffy white cream cheese frosting. Our server was a real character and we had a great time bantering back and forth with her. It was a quiet evening so she had more time to talk with us and made our visit very special. All in all, it was a delicious experience and a nice way to end a long work day. Recommended.

Yelp
Mondays are a great bargain night with $3 beers. Taco Tuesday was good (no drink specials). Regular menu food is good with large portions.
google avatar

Katie B.

Yelp
Tried to go Friday night and they had a 45 minute wait. Large parking lot but all spaces full. Went back on a Saturday night and their patio had a short wait so we were able to be seated fairly quickly. Quick and efficient staff. Everyone I was with enjoyed their beers. I really liked the Bigsby (white stout). Husband had the brisket and loved the flavor. I had the chicken Caesar salad and it was a lot of salad for the full. Loved the touch of capers and anchovies.
google avatar

Beth M.

Yelp
Stop for lunch, was delicious I had vegan tacos and my husband had Greek salad and we shared spinach artichoke dip. And the beer was also very good. Our waitress was very sweet the ambiance was great, casual/trendy would definitely recommend.
google avatar

Tami S.

Yelp
The food was Good, the Vibe was Great, and our waitress was Excellent! We had a lovely "Bigsby" white ale with hints of chocolate and vanilla.

Yelp
Bottom line: Fun, lively atmosphere, good food, good service, relatively reasonable prices. For sure worth a try for your GNO or fam casual dinner. If you're from the Chicago area this is NOT your traditional Czech Restsurant. From that perspective the only thing really "Czech" about it is the name as, according to staff, the entrepreneurial owner happens to be Czech--and of course the great beer selection--which is also not Czech--but still very good. Actually if you put "evil" in front of almost anything you can generate interest and coupled with what looks like a gothic-esque period warrior/Lucifer--you gotta try it right? (Actually Lucifer holds a fairly prominent place in Czech/Slavic folklore/mythology as the evil or mischievous counterpoint to doing or being "good".) So of course you gotta have that tee-shirt with that image right?!. (They have lots of swag!). The place, like many new ones now is chique urban (suburban) warehouse smashing together lots of industrial type materials but softened with warm pallets and lighting--it's actually inviting and hats off to the designer. It's also accentuated with Americana images with only very vague references to "Czech" anything. Our server was engaging and helpful to navigate the beer menu with ample choices to suit most any preference. Our party ordered a variety of dishes too numerous to detail here but we ended up family style ( yes we're close) because everyone wanted what everyone else ordered once the food came out which is the mark of truly good food! With the good food, libation, and company we well overstayed but were in no way rushed out--a truly satisfying experience. I will be back.

Yelp
Absolutely love this restaurant/brewery, the food is delicious, service is amazing and the servers are so friendly every time. I took my kids(11,11,7) and they loved the lightning lunch, lots of options to choose from and they can help themselves. The dessert bar was their favorite getting multiple pieces of every dessert item(chocolate cake, carrot cake, strawberry shortcake) all made in house and so good!! They also loved watching the brewer check on his brew through the windows. Bonus points for being located next door to a retro putt putt place!! We had lunch and played putt putt, made for a pretty nice afternoon with the fam! Thanks Evil Czech for making our family dining experience so delightful!

Pam D.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. There was a few months earlier this year that it seemed like they had really gone down hill but they have fully corrected course.
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
Great food and beer is pretty good and nice selection. Tacos and wings were tasty. Waiter was very pleasant.
google avatar

Maria F.

Yelp
I used to love Evil Czech, but they've gone through some menu changes and price increases and it's no longer at the top of my list as a place to visit in South Bend. They're added a few favorites back to the menu, which I appreciate, but I still feel like the food isn't quite as good as it used to be. I like this spot, and their beer is decent, but I hope they go back to more of the great food they used to serve. Service can be hit or miss. This is a solid spot. I do like their hangover brunch, I just wish it opened a bit sooner on weekends.
google avatar

Erik K.

Yelp
We stayed at the Residence Inn (great pet-friendly hotel!) and the front desk pro didn't hesitate with a recommendation for Evil Czech. Did not disappoint! The Cod and Chips w house horseradish slaw was off the hook! And we sample a few of their amazing brews. Great service and food. All the thumbs!
google avatar

Matthew N.

Yelp
Great food and great service...and excellent beer. Nice going to a brewery that still runs it self like brewery's used to. Free samples of beer so you can figure out what you like and spent more money on what you like. The food was also great all around. Also great for kids! This is a plus for parents who still want to do the brewery thing but have kids and have to bring them along. We will definitely be back
google avatar

Yelp
Party of 3 on 8/31/24 not too busy and was able to sit quick. Non descriptive on the outside but nicely executed design in the inside. Our server was Stacie (with an i e). Extremely helpful and honest. One little hiccup (which wasn't her fault) our appetizer came out while we were eating our dinner. Great beer selection especially their seasonal choices. Food was delicious. No room for dessert so we took some home. Their Cake in a Can were creatively amazing. They went great with our morning coffee. Thank you Stacey for a great experience, oops. Stacie!

Yelp
Every Sunday Evil Czech Brewery offer brunch buffet and have quite a few selection. All the food items are line up by the kitchen line and already portioned in a small plate. Love this small plate idea, but at first may need to go for couple more time to get started. The whole place is fairly big, one section is dedicate to the bar area and the dinning room is toward the back. You can also see the brewery from the big glass window in the background.

Kierra F.

Yelp
Love the vibe of this place. Beer is delicious. My fave dishes are the truffle fries and chicken tacos (with a side of voodoo mayo). Can't wait to come back!
google avatar

Yelp
Great brewery, and also great good and service. They have some killer staples but roatingbeets hit as well. Great IPA

Yelp
Wow!wow!wow!!!!! This place is amazing!! It was walking distance from our hotel and let me just say what a wonderful surprise. Our server Leon was johnny on the spot. He was friendly and efficient! I got the fo Schnitzel ..... um why did we both order food??? The portions are ginormous!!! I only was able to eat the ends of the pork that weren't on the actual sandwich with some fries. It became our late night snack for later... thankfully walking distance from hotel. Highly recommend the nefarious beer (it has citrus undertones) I want to keep coming back here just because of the food! We definitely will be back during football season

Yelp
We have wanted to go to this restaurant for a while. We were glad we went. Our drink order included a smoked Old Fashioned. It was fantastic. Could use an orange peel to enhance the flavor. But we rated this as our second favorite Old Fashion. Behind Antonio's in Elkhart. I ordered the Ménage a Trois mac'n'cheese. The jalapeños and smoked sausage added were fantastic. Lord have mercy! The pita with tomato sauce and goat cheese was superb. Sorry I forgot what it was called. It was a great appetizer. I also got the Voodoo Shrimp Tacos. They were perfectly prepared. I liked that it was layered with a crunchy tortilla with a soft flour tortilla. What would have been better? If there was a layer of refried beans between them. Just a thought. Delicious just the same. My associate had a burger and loved it. The fries were seasoned perfectly. Great without ketchup. Overall we rated our experience 5 Stars. The bathrooms were clean and smelled good. The restaurant was decorated with Halloween in mind. Perfect setting. Unfortunately we were here since March and only recently got word about Evil Czech Brewery from a pipefitter. Our job finished in Indiana. When we return, we will visit Evil Czech Brewery. Peace and love.

Yelp
OMG - New. Favorite. Restaurant. New. Favorite. Salad. I LOVED this place!! I only wish this were a chain and they were adding a location in Columbus, Ohio. I did ask about other places and was very disappointed to learn they are only a local chain. So I had recommended we eat here the past several nights but we ended up at other places at Eddy Commons. FINALLY, when asked again where we should go, I again recommended here. And we FINALLY came. The only reason I was bent on coming here was because it was one of the only restaurants that wasn't a chain with a location near home. We were seated right away despite our coming around 5:30 on a Saturday night. It was beautiful and people were seated inside and out. We opted for IN. Two negatives only I'll mention up front. There were only a couple TVs we could see and they had stupid programming on. Like an old movie. Really? When the US Open is on? The other gripe, our waiter was rather aloof. Just kind of weird. But he got the job done and was OK. Not an extensive food menu but they had 3 salads to pick from. I went with the Cobb. While I challenged my hubby to get the FBB, he went for the Big Czech burger. Prices were a bit higher than other restaurants by 2 or 3 dollars. But I went with water (only because I didn't need any more caffeine as I'd usually get a diet cola). Hubby normally goes water, too. And when the meals came - the servings were HUGE. Totally worth the price being charged. The salad was enormous. Excellent greens and plenty of the cobb fixings. Very generous helping which I more than LOVE LOVE LOVE. And while it took a while, I ate every single BITE! The burger was big and I was surprised Hubby ate it all. He's not normally a big eater. IMO, the serving of fries was small, especially when compared to the size of everything else. And they are cheap. So they could stand to pile a few more on. OK. One more gripe. No katsup or mustard on the table. We swiped it from another table. And while the napkins were nice and cloth, hubby could have used some more napkins as the burger was MESSY. Once we got waiter's attention our check out was quick. Would I come here again?? ABSOFREAKINGLUTELY! I was demand we eat her again if we were remotely close.

Yelp
Carinnia (sorry if I spelled it wrong) was AMAZING. Recommended the PB&J burger and it lived up to it reputation. What a great place. Beers were so good we took some home and left some NJ beers for her to try too. It was so good we went on our way to Wisconsin and on our way back home.

Yelp
We were in town visiting colleges, and wanted to try a local restaurant, and Yelp helped up find Evil Czech. Evil Czech is a very cool looking place inside. Our table ordered buffalo wings, tacos, straight up bowl, and a margherita pizza. The wings were outstanding! Very meaty and flavorful. Our entrees were good, but nothing special or memorable. Our server, Olivia, was delightful. There's a few little things preventing me from giving a full 5 stars: - no coasters or napkins for drinks. it was a hot summer day, and before long little pools of water was everywhere. - buffalo wings were dropped off by food runner, but no appetizer plates were provided. were we expected to eat over wood table?! - straight up bowl was ordered with chicken, but didn't come out from kitchen that way. Overall, good experience and glad we tried Evil Czech.

Yelp
Very tasty beer and great mushroom pizza with sourdough crust! I also really like their flannel merch shirt. Very authentic and unique place. The hot baba yaga wings were very good as well!

Yelp
Every time we come to town we try to come here. I read the reviews about a new chef with mixed reviews. We really enjoyed what we had. The beer menu has lots of choices for IPAs. I tried three and settler on the static chipmunk. My sister in law wanted the same thing and ended up with a different beer. My husband tried a sample of one beer and got the wrong one too. We realized after that, that the beers had similar names and the waitress was fairly new. We got the babayaga wings and slumdog wings to share. They warned us to be careful before eating babyaga. The wings started with gf flavorful and got hotter and hotter. If you are considering those wings, I highly recommend the cooling station. I love hot food and could only do one. The slumdog wings are delicious and flavorful. Not spicy. The Cesar salad was meh. My family loved the goat cheese skillet appetizer. All in all, a great meal!

Went here several times and really enjoyed it. Each time we ordered the truffle fries, chicken and waffles and a couple of the flatbread. All were amazing and the service was excellent. Will definitely go back when in the area.

Yelp
Great place! Super fun music in a great friendly and casual atmosphere. The food was tasty too. I went with the Nefarious Harbor- tasty hazy with less citrus than expected but great taste and mouthfeel, very smooth; and the Donker Zone seasonal dark saison, which acceded expectations with a fabulous balance of cranberry and toasted malts. Also went with the Funguy burger- again outstanding and filling. Check out the daily food specials! They also have cans and growlers available, for when you fall in love. Sat at the bar and had outstanding service- you need to try this place!

Yelp
We always go here for their Sunday hangover brunch. The brunch is unique and always something on there that is tasty. Service can be hit or miss. I just wish that there were trays for the little plates because the plates are hot and you can take two at a time unless hot plates don't bother you. It's a lot of trips back and forth.

Yelp
Showed up at 1101 starving and thirsty on. Saturday before the game. Tapas brunch was fantastic and service was professional and fun. Cocktails were very tastie and highly recommend the Evil Mary. Beers are definitely a good option, my favorite was the Pilsner. Cool swag on the way out so stop before you go...the kitchen is rocking, service is friendly, and seating is unique and comfortable. PIVO!

Yelp
Probably the best place I've been to in the SB area. Their Carne Asada burrito, Mac & cheese, pizza.. all great. Only draw back is if you have a group and it's last minute. You'll wait. Place is always packed.

Yelp
We were in town visiting the university of Notre Dame and found this great spot. The cocktails and beer were wonderful! I actually had two cinnamon bun old fashioneds if you like sweets I highly recommend that one. Our children enjoyed their meals. The staff was incredibly genuinely friendly. It was a large place and not too busy on this particular day, but we would definitely go back if we are in town again. I am certain they are busier on the weekends.

Yelp
I've been here multiple times and it never disappoints. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is new American restaurant meets sports bar. Everything I have had on the menu is phenomenal. The burgers are large, juicy, and have great toppings, whatever you are looking for. They have many options and varieties to choose from when it comes to beer. I recommend a flight to choose 5 different ones (they are also large pours). If there is a large wait, you can also enjoy a beer while waiting for your table. This is probably my favorite place to eat in the area! Atmosphere- 5/5 Value- 5/5 Food- 5/5 Service- 5/5

Yelp
We had to figure out a great spot to eat that would appeal 20 parents, players and coaches for a high school aged soccer team. Pulling into the parking lot, I was already impressed with the artistic aesthetic that the exterior provides. When we first walked in, they were incredibly accommodating to us. Our server, Noel, was a complete class act. Not only was he in charge of our table, but a few other large groups as well. He was extremely friendly and attentive. If you can request a table in his section, I hope you are lucky enough to have him. The food was absolutely delicious. The girls tried the pretzel and rip and dip and loaded fries appetizers. The parents got a variety of burgers and wings. One of the dad's ordered the Baba Yaga wings and I tried one and it was hot, but delicious. If you like hot food, you are going to have to try this. If you love a variety of beer, this brewery will not disappoint you. I tried their evil Czech monk IPA and Jesus Mexican lager served with a lime. Both are delicious. I was 100% impressed with this place and can't wait to return.

Yelp
Beer and food were good. Atmosphere was forgettable. Service was slow, but friendly. Acceptable dining experience for kids.
