So many vegetarian options on the menu. The share platters we tried were delicious. The plated cocktail I had was delicious, will definitely be coming back.

We visited this location for the first time, loved the atmosphere and the venue looked like it would be great for a wedding or special event. Our waitress was lovely, I didn't catch her name but she was very helpful and knowledgeable. The food was good, perhaps not great - we had the Pork Belly Fried Rice and the EFC (Evil Fried Chicken). These were both "large" (perhaps standard is a more suitable description), and at $26 and $28 respectively. The chicken was lovely and hot, but the salt seasoning, I think the Chef went too heavy and there were a few pieces where my mouth burned as the salt was too strong. Unfortunately, there were a few "out of" meals so our choices were limited for the "large" options. Unsure at this stage if we would re-visit, given there are many other asian-fusion options throughout Christchurch which offer "wow" factors

We recently had our midwinter Coworking lunch here, 23 of us with a mixture of dietary requirements. The set menu was great, cocktails on point and the service were superb. The expansion into the larger event space has really made the space amazing, love all the hanging plants!

This was not the first choice to go to for me and my cousin, today. I'm so glad we came to this place. Thank you so much for being so accommodating, as we had no booking. I recommend you make a reservation is especially for late afternoon and evening during winter. The service was amazing, I felt that we were looked after by angels. The food OMG! Delicious, flavoursome and light. Presentation of the food was good. The drinks were perfect with delightful taste. The ambience was calming even when it got busy. Everything at this place was magical and surreal, it really topped of my day spent catching up with my cousin. Thank you very much to the team for making it the best first time experience this afternoon. We will definitely be back, and we will bring more people with us. May your restaurant continue to do well.

Evil Genius hosted my birthday party a few weeks ago and everything went perfectly! The food and drinks were perfect, and I have had several guests comment to me since the party how much they liked the food in particular. The staff were so lovely and helpful from set-up to the end of the night, everything went so smoothly and we all had such a great night. Thank you for making my birthday party so memorable!! I cannot recommend Evil Genius highly enough!

Even though the fried chicken wasn’t the best as other customers mentioned, it was still good overall. The sauce for the fried chicken was great. The cocktail was excellent

Been a few years since visited as not had great.experiences previously. This week was totally opposite. Brilliant food and service...cocktails and wine...water glasses were tiny but they left the bottle! Great asset to where we.live and will be back. Magic comes from that tiny kitchen. Fried chicken and curry were outstanding and dumplings were pretty amazing too
