evo Hotel Hakuba

Excellent location. Amazing helpful staff. Compact room was well and thoughtfully designed maximizing space available, initially worried we would struggle with our big luggages but it wasn't a problem at all! Appreciate the in house onsen and free washing machine + dryer. Little snacks (chocolate and Japanese crackers) in the common areas were appreciated. Only things we thought could be improved was our toilet's plumbing system - there was a constant sewage smell that seeped from the toilet. Also would love perhaps Asian breakfast options too eg cup noodles or soba/Udon noodles?

Stayed there in October. They provide a shuttle service between Hakuba Station and the hotel, which was great! We also booked their shuttle services to Happo Gondola and Iwatake Gondola, which made our stay so much easier. We booked a deluxe room, and it was very clean and spacious. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful as well. There was also a washer and dryer on our floor, and the laundry pods they provided smelled great. Lawson is located just diagonally across from the hotel, which was really convenient. Our stay was very comfortable, and we’ll definitely book again if we visit Hakuba.

Very friendly and helpful staff made the stay very pleasant. Wish they’d offer shuttles to more than two resorts but the location (to Lawson, happo village and bus terminal) make this moot. The lounge area is a nice place to hangout.

Excellent stay. We were surprised to find out the Evo hotel is connected with Evo ski store in Seattle. Highlights: Cheerful and engaging staff Onsen on 5th floor with great view of Happo One ski slopes. During our stay, it served as private onsen as guests take turns Communal lounge on 2nd floor with every amenities, made family dinner by heating dinner from Lawson store quite easy. Good alternatives during long stay Personally I loved the meeting room as I needed to work a bit Great bar on 1st floor To improve Breakfast could have more variety Boot room should be heated

Absolutely 5 stars. A fantastic hotel for my stay at Hakuba! The staff at the front desk were very friendly, they speak perfect English. You can see the snow mountains outside the window in the room, it’s such a beautiful scenery! Hakuba feels out of the world, as you can see the gorgeous snow mountains as you walk on the street. Feels like in Switzerland. Highly recommended! Will come back next time!

Such a good vibe, will definitely be back! Super helpful staff that organized everything from taxi’s to reservations. Also super convenient to rent gear through their partner store rhythm and they’ll pick it up from the hotel for you after you’re done.

We enjoyed the room so much the first night, we stayed an extra night! It was the perfect accommodations for us after our hike up Mt Shirouma. They have a fabulous staff that were beyond helpful. We had free shuttle service to the train, great coffee, super comfortable bed, and plenty of room to be more than comfortable. We were able to wash and dry all of our wet hiking clothes while we relaxed in our room. There are in a great location with stores all around. We most definitely will return! The highlight was all of the incredibly kind and helpful staff 🙏

The room are clean and big enough to open 2 large suitcase and we got complimentary beers and some other drinks in our room. The staff were all very friendly and speak good English. They provide transfer service on arrival and departure day which is really helpful. The hotel is also right beside the bus terminal which is super convenient. What was really nice is that they gave us a 1,000 yen voucher when we choose no housekeeping and we use it to buy drink at the lounge.
