Visited Evoke Winery near Bend for a tasting. This is just a tasting room. The facility is very nice and attractive, not overly large. Seating available both inside and outside. Tasting is done at a table. Staff were pleasant. They offered us complimentary goldfish and chocolates for the tasting. We tasted 5 of their high-end red wines, as we wanted to sample their best. Using our 5-10 rating scale (5 = poor, 10 = outstanding and we do use half points) the wines averaged 7.2 with the best wines at 8. So, overall pretty good wines; we'd buy the wines we rated 8 or more. However, their prices are way out of line with the quality. $70 and $80 is just too much.

Didn’t have time to sit and try a tasting. Had a great conversation with the staff. I took home a Zinfandel bottle, I’m a can prefer. Wine was great!!! Enjoyed it with a pasta dinner. Thank you for great service and recommendations!!

2022 Update - Just wanted to pop in with an update - we are still members after the name change to Evoke, and still have fun visiting the locations when we travel - like this one in Bend. Because we had our dog with us on this visit, we sat outside at the patio tables, even though it was freezing cold. The little firepits put off a little heat to warm you up. Enjoyed the tasting and then bought a bottle to have a glass and take the rest with us to enjoy after dinner. Still a happy member after all these years! I am a member of Naked Winery and I was surprised to find I had never written a review of this location. We have visited the location several times on our visits to the Bend area, service it always top notch! We usually visit in the winter and this visit was a warm spring day so we got to sit outside in the sun. The theme of this winery is so fun and we always have a great time visiting and tasting. We intended to just do a tasting this visit but they had a special for a cheese, fruit and cheese plate plus a bottle for less than $25.... so we couldn't turn that down. Got a bottle of yummy white and enjoyed a glass with the plate and then took the rest back to our camp for a campfire drink! Great visit and we will be back!

Google
Visiting the city and this place was nearly full so I had to pop in. Did the red and white flights. I enjoyed the reds more. Was surprised by the similarity in color on the varietals. The Barbera was fabulous. Staff was extremely nice and gave me a list of local restaurants to visit. Great place to visit. Very good wine, and some of the wine names were hilarious.

Google
Our first visit to Bend, and this was one of our had to go destinations. Mikaela was very friendly and attentive. The tasting room is a little smaller than the others but very cozy and there is outdoor seating is available as well. I love getting Naked, it's always a pleasure visiting the tasting rooms.

I am so glad my friends and I stumbled upon this gem! Frozen rose pouches and the ambience sold us. Our server was amazing and made our experience a great memory for my 40th birthday girl’s trip.

Google
Evoke Tasting Room is a delightful spot with lovely wines that have funny, sassy names, adding a playful touch to the experience. The servers are so friendly and good-natured, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. The tasting fee is very reasonable for the area at only $15 each, though the wines themselves are priced at $48 and up on average. You get one free tasting if you purchase 2 bottles. Overall, a charming place for a wine tasting adventure in the Old Mill District!

Google
I love being a member at Evoke, I think they have some of the best wine club perks. Unlimited tastings for you and a couple friends is such a win! Plus a free cheese plate with your tastings. The Bend Old Mill location is cute and cozy to hang out in. The wonderful server Kennedy is my favorite, she is the best!

Yelp
Definitely a must visit! The wine we had was delicious and our server was so willing to let us taste whatever they had open. I highly recommend visiting if you're in Bend because we absolutely loved it! It's a cute little indoor tasting area with comfy couches, but they also have outdoor seating (it was too toasty for us!). We will be back when we're in Bend next!

Yelp
We have been members at Evoke since it was Naked and first opened in Bend. We have been in Vegas the past 10 years so I was so happy to be able to finally stop by their tasting room in The Old Mill and use some of our membership perks like a free tasting. We got there right as they opened on Saturday and were greeted by Hannah who was absolutely amazing. I had a white flight and my husband had the red. We had our two littles with us and ordered them a cheese plate and Capri suns. Our kids thought this was the coolest. We also had a dog with us so we sat outside - Hannah was so on top of our drinks and describing all of the new wines. I also ordered a frose because why not? It was amazing. We ended up walking away with three bottles as well. Love Evoke and hope to make it back here more often - but until we do we will enjoy the wines being delivered!

Yelp
Had a really good time here Kris was really nice, friendly, cool, great service with no stress. She casually handled a nearly completely full tasting room worth of people with a casual veteran server like comfort that adds highly to the atmosphere. The Barbera was very good. The building was nice enough, a little girly but I think that is the point. The tasting and per glass prices are fair, the one knock I would give is that their reserve wines are seriously overpriced by the bottle. The wines are good but nothing on that menu should be over $65 a bottle.
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cute place! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. They are also knowledgeable about their wine. We had a great time. We will be back!

Yelp
My daughter and I came in today to have a wine flight. We sat down, were told by 2 separate waitresses in about a 5 minute span that they would "be right with (us) you". The problem was, they continued to pour, serve, and take others' payment while we sat with no menus. It would have taken a second to drop one off on the way to other tables, so at least while we waited we could have decided on what we wanted. I even stood up at one point and looked around to see if I could find one. If menus are not readily at each table, might I suggest a QR code with a digital menu? We waited about 10 minutes and never were served or given menus. We waked out and went to a different wine place down the way, where we were greeted and handed menus as we walked in.

Yelp
What a cute and cheeky wine bar! We had the most incredible experience at this winery this weekend! I'm kicking myself that we don't remember our server's name - but to the woman who was closing on Saturday night with dark hair and glasses - thank you so much for the most wonderful wine tasting experience! They have several different flights to choose from here, and the majority of the wines have cheeky names. They have a red flight, white flight, sweet wine flight, and their black label flight. Each flight comes with complimentary fish & chips (gold fish and chocolate chips). Truly a winery after my own heart. I love sweet wines, and one of their specialties here was their sweet wines. The sweet wine flight started out more neutral and mild, and then became increasingly sweeter. All of the wines were delicious, and my personal favorite was the Talk Flirty to Me. They have bar seating and tables inside, and they also have quite a few tables outside. We sat outside because the weather was lovely. We came about 30 minutes before closing and figured we would just get a glass of wine until they were closed, but we were encouraged by the staff to stay and enjoy and not feel rushed, which was so lovely. The server was SO knowledgable and educational about every single wine. It was just such a wonderful experience and we can't wait to come back next time we're in the area. Definitely a must stop if you're in Bend!

Yelp
We just weren't feeling motivate to work this morning so we wandered into Evoke, at the recommendation of a friend. We are so happy we did! Amanda was beyond wonderful! We ended up trying all 3 flights, drank a few glasses of rosé and took a bottle of Talk Flirty to Me Blush to go! As a socially conscious winery, for Pride Month they are donating a portion of Gay Rosé sales to the Human Rights Foundation. We love supporting local, caring companies! Everything here was wonderful... the wines, music, snacks, ambiance and did we mention Amanda? :) We absolutely will return - and if you're not here now, you should be!

Yelp
A fun, relaxed tasting room. People come here and have a good time, which is what we did. Their wines tend to be on the sweeter side, and I tasted a couple that would definitely be a "porch pounder" on a warm June day. I'd give the wines 3 star because they are a bit pricey for their flavor profile, but round up for a fun staff and environment. Stools aren't very comfortable but if you are lucky you can grab the couch on the back corner. Of course the lady who was there by herself while there were parties of 4 & 5 waiting for that area is a bit obnoxious, but that isn't the staff's fault.

Yelp
Wonderful wine and the sweetest people working there. We had such a great time here and will definitely be back. The cheese platter was delicious as well.

Karen H.

Yelp
All the wines were great. My husband had the red flight and I had the sweets flight. I like that the sweet wines are a full size bottle. Deonne was very knowledgeable, no pressure. We bought 6 bottles and would definitely recommend this winery.
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place! Good wines and Covid friendly. I love the LGBTQ+ friendly atmosphere and staff!! As for the other reviewers, this is a winery, not a daycare. Probably leave your kids at home!
google avatar

Tammy D.

Yelp
Red wine is ok but since I'm from CA I thought the bottle price was high. The 4 tastings were fine. My friend had the white wines and said "ok" . Bite selection is limited so perhaps I'm use to more options. My favorite red was Barbera but $60 is too expensive for a WA wine. Friend liked the Rose. Nice location and seating outdoors

Yelp
Fun environment Good covid safety precautions taken Open later than most tasting rooms (thank you)

Yelp
I am not a wine connoisseur, but I want to be! The Naked Winery experience let me feel like a connoisseur. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. It's amazing! Great service, knowledgeable and so, so patient. If nothing else go in, try a flight and ask to read the back label of any bottle you're trying (because they as naughty and hilarious) If that doesn't sell you this may not be your place (because you have no soul of fun!!) but to each their own :) love this place! Ps..Willy joe is an awesome human being and I kinda want to adopt him!!!

Yelp
Terrible wine, terrible food, terrible service! So sorry but we expected WAY more for a Saturday night birthday guest outing in the Old Mill! They were out of salami with the food platter we ordered and brought us about 5 small bowls of almonds instead... I think we only liked one wine from our tasting and the rest were YUCK, also the waitress didn't describe them and she left and didn't check on us for lengths at a time repeatedly. No it was not busy and there were 3 servers hanging out at the front counter... we were so bummed because it was my sister's birthday. Nevertheless we had fun in our group because we know how to make the best of everything but wow! This place needs to step it up! Especially for being in the old mill where you come to have a lovely time. Maybe it's hard to find good people to serve...but the wine was still not good. The only 'plus': free goldfish!!... Sorry, would NOT recommend.

Yelp
Despite staff dealing with the Covid pandemic and it's constraining rules and policies, the winery lacked in all categories. *To note, we had 4 middle-aged kids from 9-11. We were sat and waited 20 minutes for someone to address us, which never happened. I walked in and ordered 4 wine flights. They showed up condensed into 2 and were dropped on the table and we were told to read the wine notes for ourselves. Glasses later were brought to us.... I then had to re-ask for water and crackers, no one checked in, we were called "boss" multiple times...the douchey address to customers by a completely ignorant service person. End experience. We will never return, not because of the horrible service experience and lack of professionalism...but mainly because the wine is flat out not good. Recommendation: treat all customers like you want to be treated, show some professionalism in your work.

Karen M.

Yelp
We had a fun experience with Chris and Dionne. They gave us great wine and local bend insights. Well worth doing a tasting here
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful location in Old Mill. Plenty of outdoor seating. Great staff and wine tastings. Several different variation flights to choose from. The wine was delightful, as well as location and staff.

Yelp
HOLY PUSH SALES TEAM, BATMAN! It was like taking a free tour of, well, anything. We did a wine tasting for two, which was about $15, I think. The atmosphere was very "Stuff White People Like", our bistro table at a mall really setting the scene for a wine tasting. We know nothing about wine so it was all good. They also serve "Fish and Chips" which is two huge bowls of chocolate chips and Goldfish. That was worth $15 alone. You get to keep the glass your wine is served in. Our glasses weren't rinsed out but the table next to us was offered for them to be rinsed and gift-packed. Hmm. Thanks, jerks. Probably cuz we didn't buy any of the wine. What a gimmick. Wine tasting was fun, Naked wasn't.

Yelp
As wine club members, we had to stop by this location to check it out and of course get a taste of their fun and fine wines. For right now they are only open weekends as they train up new employees, etc., but starting June 15, they will be open daily. Furnished with pink and orange beach chairs this is a breezy and fun place. Ann is the manager of this site was friendly and welcoming and she aided in instructing a new employee the ropes of wine tasting and pouring. We received the member discount on the wines we purchased and a special bonus was 50 percent off birthday purchase. We were talking and Nicole asked if I had been given a birthday discount. With all the talking we had not so I purchased an additional bottle receiving 50 percent off. A good deal and they threw the wine glasses in with our tastings. The tastings are free with wine club membership and $8 if you are not. Bend is one of our favorite places so we will be back again.

Tessa K.

Yelp
Evoke is the absolute best and the staff are all amazing! If you don't have a membership you are missing out, it is well worth it.

Yelp
Fantastic local.... Kennedy waited on us and shared fabulous knowledge of each wine we tasted & introduced us to a few new ones! Left with several bottles to enjoy at home. WE LOVE NAKED WINES
google avatar

Chief K.

Yelp
Service has been less than satisfactory, especially for members.... I think it's because the tasting room has gotten WAY busy. But still, let's value our members in some way or another. And that's why I cancelled my membership. Membership has its privileges, but not here. Sorry, after being a member for 4+ years, I felt like it didn't matter and I can spend my "wine money" elsewhere with better perks (& better tasting wine).

Yelp
So cute and fun for a night out! Definitely coming here for my bachelorette night! The options for wine are all fun and creative!

Yelp
Love Evoke! The servers are so knowledgeable and friendly, going above and beyond each time we've been in. Thank you guys!

Yelp
Our first visit here two years ago was on point! Our recent second visit was a bit lack luster. I think the tasting room attendants make all the difference; as our last visit had someone low energy and slow to return to pour our next taster. The intent of our visit was to introduce our travel partners to what we thought was a GREAT tasting experience and we felt let down. The wines during this visit were just meh...we opted to for the flight with more reds than whites. While I know wine is a matter of preference and everyone's palettes are different, I found this place to be average based on the service and products offered. Our attendant didn't consistently pour the same amount of wine for each of us and if she was at the end of a bottle, you just got the splash that was left versus her opening another bottle. Seemed as though she was over working for the day...as even when she read the labels for the various wines, she lacked any enthusiasm (that is part of the fun of the place!). The wine membership was pushed at the end, but for the price point, there are a LOT of other wines I would have shipped to me before these. I will give them props for the plastic "adventure" bottles they sell.

Yelp
This place is cool. My friends and I stopped by here after doing some shopping in the Old Mill District. It was still early; before noon, but there where already people hanging out at this place. We ordered the Wine Flight. It was very good! The service was great. We each got a complimentary wine glass to take home as a souvenir. I never thought I would be at a wine bar before lunch, but hey.... I'm on vacation. I would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
I started my membership at Evoke in Hood River and I'm so happy I did. I love popping in for a quick tasting with a friend. Everyone has been so friendly and accommodating to my white wine needs. My all time favorite is the Oh! Bubbly. Great place to sit down and catch up with a friend while also having a good chat with your server.
google avatar

Andi C.

Yelp
This is a great place for tasting. Cheese plate with olives and delicious wines with several choices for tasting (sweet only, Naked mixture, sparkling). There is a small gift shop with shirts, sweatshirts, large sport bottles, hats, candles. Great service with a smile.
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
We moved away from Bend to Paso Robles California six years ago and moved back a few months ago to a pleasant surprise of finding a few local wineries. While our expectations were very high after living in wine country for so long we were pleasantly surprised by the sweet wine tasting flight offered at Naked Winery. The reds were somewhat lacking however we will be back again for the sweets :)
google avatar

Jennifer J.

Yelp
Kennedy was so great! The wines are always excellent but she was so friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend visiting this tasting room and when you do, ask for Kennedy.

Yelp
Naked winery paired with wanderlust tours for a wine adventure. Lava tube exploration and wine after! The tour guides were very knowledgeable and helped us jump into our adventure. It was a small and easy hike through bends snow patched wilderness to a hole in the ground with stairs. There are a few different style lava tubs that people can explore, the glamorous ones all lit up with fancy likes and special walkways and natural ones where you have to climb and crawl and hope you don't see any of the eyeless spiders that live down there. (There are a real thing according to the google). This was a natural lava cave. I was excited and moving quickly through this cave. There was no way one could get lost because it was narrow and slowly narrowed to a point we got to crawl through. I though I was Claustrophobic but I was fine. Maybe it was because of the friendly guide and the people or the thought of the wine for if and when I make it out. Just try and not think about all the volcanoes and earthquakes. We all made it out alive and got to enjoy some amazing wine in nature. I say this is a must of a little day adventure.

Yelp
Coming back to Bend for photo jobs and connecting with friends always includes a visit to the Bend tasting room. One of my all time favorite tasting rooms! Inviting, good vibes, great customer service...and of course delicious wine! Thanks Mikaela for always making the visit awesome as always.

Yelp
I came here with some friends on our day off while on a ski trip to nearby Mount Bachelor. I really loved this tasting room. $15 gets you eight tasting pours and a naked winery wine glass--you can choose eight sweet wines or the traditional "naked" tasting, which includes three whites, a delightful and dry rose, and four reds. The wines here are not for puritans, as the descriptions are quite salacious and clever. All of us enjoyed our wines from both menus and the leisurely hour we spent trying them all. There are tables and chairs, and the wine stewards will serve you your samples at the table. The wines were relatively reasonably priced--from about $20 to $65/bottle. Of course I liked a $60 cab the best. If I did not have a tiny suitcase to fly home, I would have gone broke. This is a must-visit in Bend when you want a break from all the breweries.

Yelp
Perfection and fun integrated with wine. Carlene is the best employee ever. I joined the club. Enjoy.

Yelp
I had a great time at this adorable little winery in Bend. I came to visit my bestie and she decided this was a place I should experience. We were warmly greeted by the staff when we walked into the simple but cute tasting room. We had a flight of wines that were delicious but unfortunately I can't remember which kinds we had because this adventure was over a year ago and this review is long overdue! I do still have the wine glass they give you as a gift after your tasting. We found some silly photo props to take pictures together while we sipped our wine with puns like "I got naked!" or something along those lines. We couldn't help but giggle at the names of the wines including Climax and Penetration but I think that's the point. If you want to try our a winery with a flare and are in Bend, give Naked a try!

Yelp
How could you not love this place! Wine check, cute name check, awesome merchandise check and amazing staff check !!! Seriously Carlene and Mikaela were beyond helpful!! They were so great I ended up buying way more wine then I had planned! I would come back just to see these ladies again! Not only was the wine delicious they have amazing names!! I couldn't resist buying some! The tasting room itself was warm and inviting. While one of my friends and I tasted wine and shopped the merchandise the boys were able to have some beer and sit and relax. Highly recommend checking the cute place out if in the area!!

Mmm p.

Yelp
Terible experience the manager was very rude to my wife for no reason this was tuesday the 22nd

Yelp
Have been contacted multiple times by owners to remove review. Yes, we watched as this same server served people who arrived before and after us... we were the only group not served by said sever. No, I don't want vouchers for a future visit, I just want to let LGBT+ couples and supporters know not to come here (-:

Yelp
My husband & I ordered some naked wine threw the wedsight & fell truly In Luv w/ the wine & thus we came out to Bend Orgeon for a research trip, cuz were considering of moving here & saw they had naked wine store here in Orgeon and truly luv the store. Cheese&Wine for parrings, what a find we found

Yelp
While I'm not a wine connoisseur, I was with a couple of them. This place is great! Was able to try 8 kinds of wine with the best service I've had in Bend. Special shout out to Willy! This guy is everything you want in a server. Willy knows the area, can help you figure out where and what to do in Bend and is all around an employee you can only dream of having. If you're in the Old Mill District and want a wine break, stop here!

Yelp
Matt served us some delicious wine, and was very helpful. He made some restaurant suggestions too. They have two different flights - a white and red, and a sweet flight. We did the white / Red flight. We really liked the Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Zinfandel. All of the 8 wines we tasted were delicious. We bought the Chardonnay. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
This chic and lively spot is fun for wine tasting and light food. Right on a corner in the Old Mill district, it's an easy stop for doing some wine tasting. There is good chill music in the background and outdoor seating, as well as indoor tables and the wine bar. Naked Winery is a marketing triumph. The wines are all named in sexually suggestive ways, and the staff are attentive, knowledgable and entertaining. It's fun to taste the wines and chat. However, the wines are pretty average. Nothing really stood out for us; the chardonnay was unoaked (which we like!) and pleasant, but only ok, both of the pinot noir were nice with earthy tones and good acid balance, but on the light side with almost no fruit, the syrah was also light. We both thought the viognier was the best choice, not very flowery for this variety, but well balanced and good enough that we bought a few bottles. Note that they have a separate tasting list for the sweeter wines, like muscadet, but we did not try those -- they may have been better. Granted, we live near Napa and Sonoma, and are more used to the fuller-bodied varieties common in California. However, we both love a good Oregon pinot noir or sauvignon blanc, and buy them regularly. Unfortunately, this winery isn't making a sauv blanc, and I think their pinot noir has a ways to go, especially for the price.

Yelp
The place is cute, I love the whole idea of this winery especially the naughty descriptions on the bottle and their mission to cut America's divorce rate in half. Carlene was friendly and wonderful. I just did not enjoy the wines. Having been to Napa and Temecula and being a member of other wine clubs, they just don't compare. I did the flight of sweet wines and sadly didn't really enjoy any of them. I purchased a Groupon which included a $20 credit and brought a bottle home with me. I gave it another chance at home but only took a few sips and I was done. It just was not what I expected for a so called sweet wine. I love my ports. I was sad to find out this place didn't have one. Sorry Naked Winery, I really wanted to like you.

Yelp
Went here to do tastings with my boyfriend for our anniversary. Had a great experience! Kennedy was awesome and attentive!

Yelp
Staff provides a fun experience. Wine is above average. Wine club is pushed heavily but is a good value. We came in a large group and the staff was very accommodating and courteous.

Charles M.

Yelp
We became members of Naked Winery when we first moved to Bend four years ago. Since then we have bought a lot of their wines. Back then the employees were friendly, fun and remembered us every time we visited..... Yesterday we visited and had a tasting and the girl that served us was very rude. She acted like it was a pain to serve us, didn't describe the wines just poured them like she was annoyed. The quality of wines has also changed, there were a couple of wines I had to toss because they weren't palatable. My husband and I decided we weren't going to continue our membership. Visit Via Plano down the street for quality wines from Walla Walla, WA. Great wines and most important frisky and personable employees that look like they enjoy what they do!

Yelp
This place is clean, has a great atmosphere, and the staff is phenomenal. I joined the club over a year ago and it has been well worth. Always take my out of town guests here to sample wines. It's a good place to start an evening out. I don't always ask for a cheese plate but when I do they are quick to get it. It can get crowded, but usually that's par for the course in the Old Mill.
