"The innovative EVOLUTION Lisboa Hotel is located in Saldanha Square. It features a modern décor, self-check-in and check-out, a grab & go delicatessen, indoor swimming pool and a wellness area with Saldanha Square views. Each bright and air-conditioned room at the EVOLUTION comes with a seating area, desk and a city view. Room temperature, lights and curtains can be controlled through the hotel’s own smartphone app or the in-room flat-screen TV. The open-plan bathroom features 2 separate areas, one with a rain shower and one with WC facilities, in addition to complimentary toiletries. The grab & go delicatessen serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as snacks, sandwiches, salads, soups, desserts and hot or cold beverages, 24 hours a day, to eat in or to take away. The 24-hour wellness area on the 9th floor includes a fitness room, indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, Turkish bath and a sensations shower. I thought it was a very nice hotel, though not necessarily my type of hotel.||The aesthetic is futuristic modern, sort of like a Star Wars movie stage. Stepping out of the elevator onto the floor of our room, you’re struck by the red glow of the hallway lights. Then into our room, the shower and toilet stalls are like “beam-me-up-Scotty” pods. And there’s no privacy to the bathroom area, as just a see-through curtain separates the bathroom from the bedroom.||I couldn’t figure out the A/C, the wifi was strong, and the breakfast buffet was good. The room price was reasonable, and the hotel gifted us a bottle of wine.||If I was 20 years younger, I’d give the place 5 stars. But I’m now in my 60s, so I’m just going to give it 4 stars.

Great hotel. Great breakfast. Great drinks. Exceptionally polite staff. I will definitely stay at this hotel whenever I am in Lisbon! Oh and as an added bonus its right next to the train station ... truly a perfect place

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The location is great: close to the metro and plenty of restaurants. The sauna and pool are a nice bonus. However, there are a few downsides. The hotel calls itself “hip and trendy,” but that was probably true about ten years ago. The rooms are starting to look a bit tired and not as clean as they should be, and having the toilet inside the shower cabin is really not ideal. We also had issues with the air conditioning that weren’t properly fixed. The lobby and restaurant probably looked stylish years ago, but now they just feel a bit empty and outdated.

Hotel Evolution was the first stop on our long tour of this beautiful country! It is in the Saldhana area of the city - perfect location near shops, great restaurants and fun city vibes without frenetically heavy tourists feel. The rooms were spacious and clean and staff- extremely helpful. Convenient fitness Ctr. Excellent value for the price as well. We highly recommend.

Great location, access to metro very close. Sadly our air-conditioning was broken in the room, not connected to the TV in room control. When discussed with reception they attempted getting fixed but this wasn't sorted. Couldn't move rooms as was apparently fully booked, we were offered breakfast but that was already included in our booking so no compensation given. We found the shower and toilet area lacked privacy, haven't experienced this type before, Would avoid it in the future. Some thing's definitely need to be private. Great variety for breakfast, didn't experience dinner here so can't comment on that. Gym facilities, pool, sauna etc were fine. Felt maintained and monitored, sadly not all guests could tidy up after themselves. Towels etc just left on the loungers. Overall great place to stay.

location is great . Room in general is also good. However communication to management or staff is much less than ideal. Had send couple of emails to confirm my arrivals and rooms but never got any replies. Further during our 4 nights stay the overhead shower is not working (just drop of water)and we have repeated notified to staff every single day and nothing has been done. We have to resort to the hand shower and is in convenience for the experience. No compensation or apologize either from anyone either Side note: hand soap rack fell off and never fixed (which I no longer bother to notified staff as it is minor)some sort of compensation should be made if the room is not fully functional as described. I can certainly expect certain malfunctions but in my case with 4 nights stay and reporting everyday and no action is disappointed.

I have been trying to get a refund from this hotel. I checked in for 2 hours and checked back out and requested a refund. It is now going on a month and I still have not received the refund. I have taken the proper channels and agreed to pay for the day I checked in and would use like my refund for the days I was not there. I was APPROVED for a refund before leaving the hotel and now I am still waiting. I would like my refund please.

Super nice hotel, nice area, good location, bed was comfortable, room has enough space, great table, just one problem - it’s a toilets inside the room, door from glass, so it’s can smell and you can see how someone sitting at toilet, it’s not comfortable, if it not bothering you, so it’s great place to stay. If It would be other toilets, we would come back in this hotel. But other things are perfect
