We loved everything about this hotel. It's really conveniently located just a few minutes walk from Monastiraki metro station which is perfect for getting to Piraeus to catch a ferry, or for getting to the airport. We received a very warm welcome when we arrived and were very impressed with the quality of our room. The shower was fantastic and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in - huge and with wonderful bed linen. We found the staff at the bar there very friendly and enjoyed the fact that we could take drinks up to their rooftop terrace to enjoy the views of the Acropolis, the city, and the mountains in the distance. The buffet breakfast was very high quality with a good selection and - important for us - plentiful fresh coffee! We would stay again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

1. Location The location of this hotel is not for everyone. Athens carries the marks of many difficult years with buildings in ruins, layers of graffiti, and ongoing construction are all part of the landscape. These are signs of a city that has been through a lot, from protests to austerity, and you can definitely feel that history around you. For me, this neighbourhood was still amazing, not because I admire the hardship, but because I don’t mind the imperfect, real side of a city. I actually appreciate photographing places with character, and this area has plenty of that. It’s lively, full of energy, with fantastic restaurants, clubs, cafés, and plenty to explore, a vibrant everyday life happening alongside the city’s scars. What I liked most is that the hotel sits right at the edge of all the action. You’re close enough to walk just a few minutes and have everything accessible, including the station, but far enough that you don’t get all the noise and craziness. For me, it was the perfect balance. 2. Rooms & Reception When we arrived, I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical. The reception area looks extremely old like it’s stuck in the 60s. But the moment you step out of the lift onto the corridor of the rooms… surprise! Everything is newly renovated. The rooms are modern, clean, comfortable, and the bathroom was honestly a highlight. For anyone who loves a good shower, this is a 10/10. We stayed at this hotel twice, and that should say enough about how much we liked it. 3. Breakfast & Views Another great surprise. We’ve stayed in many so-called four-star hotels across Europe, including this summer, with much higher prices and breakfast that didn’t even come close to what this hotel offers. It’s simple but genuinely delicious. And then there’s “The View.” Enjoying your morning coffee while looking at the Acropolis feels like sitting inside a postcard. A small tip: don’t rush to the small tables in the corridor area. For me, the best view is on the right side when you enter the restaurant IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!

Great Location, Friendly Staff, Nice views from the roof top restaurant. Price lower than the average in this area. |Breakfast is very very poor. It needs a brave upgrade. No fried eggs, no bacon, no sausages. Not even an espresso machine!!!! A very old building, is under restoration. During the night, the neighborhood might not be so safe. Difficult to park around.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! I loved how they preserved some of the original features like the entrance and the vintage elevator, which added a charming contrast to the beautifully renovated rooms. The room was modern, comfortable, and had an amazing view of the Acropolis. To top it off, the rooftop bar served fantastic cocktails and offered the perfect spot to enjoy the scenery. A perfect mix of history, style, and relaxation!

Great experience clean room and hotel, really friendly and helpful staff. Location of hotel is perfect, walking distance to all the tourist attractions and close to the metro station. The breaskfast room is also so nice looking at the acropolis, breakfast is basic but very good, and it has everything you need! Will stay here next time I hopefully visit athens :)

Amazing location! From the rooftop, you get a stunning view of the Acropolis. Highly recommended, everyone there was incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The breakfast was great too. After 6 pm, the rooftop bar opened, and we were able to enjoy some cocktails while taking in the view.

Great location. Acropolis can be viewed from the rooftop. We stayed in a beautiful king bedroom with a balcony looking out at the city and the Acropolis. Patio was a highlight to enjoy a glass of wine and the view. Coffee maker and fridge were great. The walk in shower was used many times in a day due to the heat. The breakfast was amazing (also came with a view of the city) There was storage for luggage if you arrived early. The location is 15 minutes away from the Acropolis and tourist areas. Lots of restaurants around. Very safe area. Staff were very helpful!

The view from our room was absolutely incredible. The room itself was very modern and comfortable. The location is close to everything but on a quiet street. The breakfast had the usual but the pastries and bread were better quality and very fresh. Coffee was bad but the pods in the room were actually really nice. I'd definitely stay there again.
