Pros:|- convenient location and excellent for the railway station|- friendly staff|- clean|cons|- I had two nights of awful sleep. The air conditioning unit was noisy and directly over the bed, plus hard to control using the remote as it was not clear which button did what. The curtains (one of which fell down as it was not properly hung) did not provide proper blackout so in the morning it was light enough to read without the curtain open or lights illuminated. |- it's not the hotel's fault or specific to them, but the time spent and effort of paying a city tax in local currency cash on departure is an unwelcome faff.

Terrible Stay – Freezing, Dirty, and Overpriced This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The location is right next to a train station, which makes it noisy and unpleasant, and there is absolutely no view. The rooms were freezing, and the heating (ATC) barely worked. When we asked the staff why it wasn’t warming up more, they told us, “This is the highest it can be.” We had to sleep in our thermal clothes just to stay warm. The water was another issue—it was never hot enough, just barely warm, and not even enough for two people to take a proper shower. On top of that, everything in the hotel was old and poorly maintained. The sheets weren’t even properly covered, and the whole place smelled like smoke. The worst part was the service—the woman at reception was extremely rude and unhelpful. To make things even worse, there is no lift in the hotel. The reception is upstairs, and all the rooms are on the upper floors. We had to carry all our luggage up the stairs ourselves, which was a nightmare after traveling. For the high price they charge, this hotel is absolutely not worth it. It’s dirty, uncomfortable, and the staff doesn’t care. I would never stay here again and do not recommend it to anyone.

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Hotel! I had one of the worst hotel experiences at Evropa Hotel in Podgorica. From the moment I entered the room, I was hit with a strong cigarette smell, making it almost unbearable to stay. The room itself was outdated, with old furniture and a depressing atmosphere. The air conditioning was positioned far from the room, making it useless, and the room remained cold and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, I accidentally booked a double room for single use, and instead of handling the situation professionally, the receptionist forced us to pay an extra €45—completely unreasonable considering I had already paid £70 for two nights, which was overpriced for the poor quality of the hotel. When I tried to request a refund and leave, they outright refused. The customer service was awful, with no regard for guests’ comfort or concerns. I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to stay away—there are much better options in Podgorica for the same price or even less.

Good hotel within 13 minutes walk to the center of town. Clean room, change towels every day. Reception people were friendly. Breakfast was good. Nice restaurant and cheap. The hotel is near the train station and the bus station. I will recoment it.

The hotel is situated next to the train station, making it very uncomfortable to reach and to stay at night with all the trains passing by. The rooms themselves are pretty bad as well. They feel unclean, the bed is stiff and without a proper blanket, and the sound insulation is practically nonexistent. I could hear guests 2 rooms down. Food in the restaurant is lackluster and plasticy, with coffee being the worst. We paid 138e for 3 nights, which is fine, i guess, but had to go for breakfast somewhere else. Wouldn't recommend

Convenient to the train station for those taking the journey through the mountains to Belgrade. Breakfast offerings were good, and the restaurant food and service were very good. This is an older hotel, but very clean. The hotel staff was outstanding, I cannot say the same about Zen Hotels, stay away from this booking service. There was a problem with my booking, and the hotel staff was understanding and responsive to my needs. The hotel was great, Zen Hotel booking was not!

Good location for traveling in and out of town. The restaurant has pretty good food too for dinners. The service was great! They kept a special toy our kid accidentally left a month earlier and gave it to her when we arrived again! It was a special toy so we were all happy to see it again. It made her day!

Ageing Hotel where I got the probably smallest double room ever. Hygiene was good and the bed fairly comfortable but decades of smoking gave it a disturbing subtle bad smell unfortunately. AirCon was in good working order but I shut the fridge over night. Very helpful and friendly reception though and close to the train station.
