Excellence Oyster Bay

My husband and I just stayed at the Excellence Oyster Bay and we had a wonderful experience! We had a room with a private pool, which was a game changer. The resort itself is stunning! The views are exceptional, no matter where you are on the resort. The service was exceptional, staff were very attentive, coming around frequently to see if everything was to our liking and if there was anything we needed, especially refills on our drinks. There were ample food options and bars on the resort: our favorite spots to eat were Spice (Asian) and The Lobster House. There is also a sports bar that is near the entertainment part of the resort that plays any NFL/MLB/NHL game - we got to catch the NFL playoff games which was really cool! As a personal preference, we would suggest that the bars stay open later - the three outdoor bars by the pool/beach all closed by 6 pm, leaving the lobby bar as the only late night bar to use. We would have loved to hang out by those outdoor bars in the evenings following our dinner. Also, not all the restaurants were open every night, only providing guests with limited dining selections - which was fine but would be nice to have more options each evening. We loved the buffet for breakfast, but would have been a nice option to have a buffet option for dinner as well. These are not complaints, whatsoever, but merely suggestions to enhance the overall dining/bar experience. Overall, we had a wonderful time staying here, the food and drinks were great, the entire staff were friendly and gracious - it was extremely enjoyable and relaxing and would love to come stay again!

My husband and I just came back from our vacation last night. As we were checking out, we were so sad to be leaving this gorgeous resort. We stayed at XOB for only 4 days. We had made accommodations for halal meals. During our stay, Shane and Ryan helped us figure out what halal meal we could have for lunch and dinner. The options never disappointed us. The best was jerk chicken and the philly sandwich which we had at Caribbean Grove. The resort is beautiful. We had a garden view room with a jacuzzi. Our room also had ocean views, though, and with the heavenly breeze everyday there, i did not want to just stay in my room. Overall, every staff member is friendly amd genuinely willing to help. The cleanliness is maintained throughout the day - on the beach and the resort. No matter where you are on the property, the views are beautiful. This is definitely the best all inclusive resort I have stayed at, in the Caribbean.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Excellence Oyster Bay. I spent thousands of dollars expecting luxury, professionalism, and respect — and instead, I left feeling upset and completely let down. This resort was highly recommended to us, which makes the experience even more frustrating. When our flight was canceled, we made the decision to stay one extra night. Looking back, I truly wish we had chosen a different hotel. The way we were treated during that additional stay was unacceptable and very disappointing. It is 2026. Racism and poor treatment have no place in hospitality. No guest who spends their hard-earned money should ever feel unwelcome or disrespected. Unfortunately, that is exactly how we felt. I will be contacting upper management regarding this matter because situations like this need to be addressed seriously. If you are considering staying here, I strongly encourage you to do thorough research first. Spend your money where you are valued, respected, and welcomed.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Stay at Excellence Oyster Bay!!! Our stay at Excellence Oyster Bay was absolutely amazing. Considering the resort recently reopened after renovations following Hurricane Melissa, it’s unbelievable how much work they’ve done to get everything back up and running. The resort was immaculately clean, and the food and drinks were outstanding. What truly stood out was the spirit, positivity, and professionalism of the staff. A special thank you to the dining team—Perecia, Kerfria, Charmaine, Randy, and Koltia—for their exceptional service, as well as Sheldon, Vincent, Nigel, and Tamayo at the watersports hut for making our beach days even better. This is not those situations where these individuals asked to be mentioned, it was simply that memorable. There were a few small reminders that the resort is still completing final recovery touches, such as some shattered glass in the sand in front of our beach house and limited access to the Magna pool area and beach while renovations continue. These were understandable given the recent hurricane recovery and did not take away from the overall experience. With the entertainment, daily activities, and excellent beach and water conditions, you truly couldn’t tell this resort was rebuilt in just two months. The level of effort and care put into the restoration is impressive. We would absolutely recommend Excellence Oyster Bay and look forward to returning.

Our stay at Excellence Oyster Bay was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the outstanding facilities and the truly breathtaking landscape. The resort is impeccably maintained, luxurious, and perfectly set against some of the most beautiful scenery we’ve ever experienced. While everyone on staff was exceptional, there are several team members who truly went above and beyond and deserve special recognition. At the restaurants, Antionette, Perecia, and Charmaine stood out for how personable, warm, and attentive they were. They made every dining experience feel special and welcoming. The entertainment team was equally impressive. Akino, Derick, and Tamayo did an amazing job creating fun, engaging activities and getting guests involved—always upbeat and energetic, yet never pushy. They struck the perfect balance and added so much to the overall experience. A very special highlight goes to Hyana, our pool waitress, who meticulously took care of us all week. She was consistently friendly, incredibly kind, and genuinely hospitable. Her attention to detail and warm personality made our days by the pool unforgettable, and she truly set the standard for outstanding service. Excellence Oyster Bay lives up to its name in every way. Between the stunning setting, top-tier facilities, and phenomenal staff, this was an unforgettable vacation. We can’t wait to return!

We just returned yesterday from a family trip to the Excellence Oyster Bay and it was WONDERFUL! I’ve been to several all inclusive and this - no doubt- was one of my favorite! The resort was in beautiful condition! Everyone we met, starting with our transportation from the airport, was genuinely welcoming and happy we were there! Tamayo was so endearing and in a few short days I will go so far to say…we made a new friend! We had so much fun with the entire entertainment crew! Rick ran a heck of a pool volleyball game! Tamayo got us in shape with aqua fitness! We even had class in the ocean one day! Sheldon and staff at The Grill made our last night dinner so enjoyable! The staff at the Lobster house were lovely! We were a group of 12 celebrating a 21st birthday, so we were a force! The roof top pool bar was probably our favorite spot! (there was a tall gentleman that served us at the pool on our last full day there and I don’t think I have his name but he was amazing!) The Excellence delivered. After Hurricane Melissa, the Excellence came roaring back serving the best hospitality and exceptional service. We were extremely appreciative of everyone returning to provide such hospitality during such a tough time recovering. The turn-around on the restoration and fresh lick of paint made the place feel like new. The service was world class. A special shout-out to the following: Shane, Restaurant Manager: Outstanding hospitality. Extremely warm with guests. Felt like VIP around Shane every time we passed. Dwayne, Lifeguard: Always gave a warm greeting whether you were walking past or at the jerk hut. Aaron: Understandably the choice to keep at Front of House to make great first impressions on the arrival tour. Still unforgettable to this day how charming and professional Aaron is. Richardo: Richardo looked after us at The Grill and Chez Isabelle and went above & beyond to make us feel comfortable throughout the services even when we were served by others on various nights. Anna-Kay: Anna-Kay provided an energetic boost every time we entered any restaurant and is worthy to be the hostess with the mostest. Nickeba was super attentive at Aroma and always remembered our Cortado coffee order We will most definitely return.

My stay at Excellence Oyster Bay was very pleasant. It’s a place where you can truly relax and enjoy yourself. I have nothing but positive things to say, especially about the entire staff — always cheerful, kind, attentive, and full of positive energy. This hotel would not be what it is without its staff. Special thanks to Christopher, Dennis, Akino, Ryan, and so many others that the list would be endless. They do an exceptional job. Thank you for everything.
