Excellence Punta Cana

My wife and I had and awesome 7 days at Excellence PC. The resort was beautiful, but the best part by far was the staff. Prelude was our go-to bar for poolside drinks. Marcial and his team did an amazing job throughout the day keeping our glasses full and showing us a good time. Agua Dominicana con limón is the only thing I drank all week, and they kept getting better and better. We’re headed home for a few days, but we’ll be back as soon as possible! Maybe Monday. We also loved the Martini Bar near the lobby. The espresso martinis were crazy good and we went back every single night. I’ve got a long list of people that made our stay incredible… Daniel aka Chocolat, Jose aka Mr. Blade, Ezekiel, Ramon, Luis, Ignacio, Marcial, Ronny, Nicolas, Alejandra, Deiby, Josesito, Michael, and so many more. The coffee shop was fantastic as well, Yordania and Virginia hooked us up every day! We had an awesome time and we’ll be back real soon. 10/10. On our way out of the resort, Yoser was fantastic, helping us check out and find our ride!

Excellent resort overall. The multiple restaurants ensure that you are never wanting for something different to eat! I would highly recommend Excellence Club for the 2 additional pools and private beach! Jon Carlos is the best server out there! The resort is fun, safe and fairly laid back - that being said, I would not recommend it if you are looking for night clubs and late nights. It is very chill and a great place to relax with your SO, or close friends.

Miguel was great. He was nice and attentive; ensured everything went smoothly. Jose and the entertainment was just that. Super entertaining and kept the guests engaged. I will be honest, when I first arrived I was nervous because this resort seemed to be mainly couples upon arrival but I thoroughly enjoyed my solo trip. Thank you, Excellence!

My wife and I stayed at Excellence Punta Cana for our honeymoon, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like royalty. Every single team member — from the front desk to the servers, housekeeping, and entertainment crew — went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Their warmth, friendliness, and attention to detail made us feel genuinely cared for. The resort itself is stunning — beautifully maintained grounds, gorgeous pools, and a pristine beach that feels like a private paradise. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel extra special for our honeymoon. The food was incredible at every restaurant, and the variety of options meant we were always excited for the next meal. Excellence Punta Cana lives up to its name in every way. The staff’s dedication and kindness made all the difference, and we will be talking about this trip for years to come. If you’re looking for the perfect combination of luxury, beauty, and unmatched hospitality, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back!

This is our 2nd time at Excellence, still in love with the hotel. It is truly special. The staff is genuinely warmth and goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had a honeymoon suite! Spotless clean, spacious, beautifully designed, and stocked with thoughtful touches daily.||They provide transportation to and from the airport on a luxury vehicle, the staff’s attention is constantly on you. The pool|Is so big that never felt crowded. The Spa experience was amazing! Everything exceeded our expectations for the second time. ||The entertainment team is awesome, Jose Blade and the team ensured we felt like family and had some fun! The Tenors and Disco show was our favorite!

My experience at the Excellence Punta Cana was outstanding. All of the staff is incredibly friendly and eager to help. Some standouts were Miguel Angel, Einstein, and Hendricks. The rooms were clean upon arrival and housekeeping was diligent with towels and cleaning throughout the stay. If you arrange for pickup from the airport through the resort, the process of getting to the EPC is seamless. We were sad to leave, but will definitely be back! I cannot recommend this resort enough!

This place is amazing! We were looking for a vacation away from our kids and this place delivered! We did the Excellence Club and were treated to extra amenities such as the spa, a romantic dinner and two VIP pools with excellent bars. Hendricks at the Palms bar was outstanding! He went above and beyond to make us feel as relaxed as possible while ensure we always had a drink in our hand. The resort offered multiple fun activities to keep the day interesting and fun. I enjoyed bracelet making with Maria and the bingo nights. If you’re looking for an escape or to celebrate your significant other, this is the place to come. 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽

We recently stayed at the Excellence Punta Cana and had a mix of positive and disappointing experiences. First, the staff were absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The room was also great, spacious, clean, and comfortable (a little old but well maintained) The highlight of our trip was definitely the spa, which was truly AMAZING and highly recommended if you’re visiting. It’s worth every penny. Unfortunately, the room service was extremely slow, and when the food did arrive, it was often cold. The dinner restaurants were generally underwhelming—Chez Isabel was the only one that was just okay, but still not impressive. Overall, the food at the resort was very average to poor, which was quite disappointing given the price point of the stay. Drinks were decent, but nothing special. For the cost, we expected a much higher quality dining experience. If they could improve the food and service speed, this resort would be much closer to matching its luxury branding. Additionally, if looking to swim on the ocean is very tricky due to high tide/waves and full of algae
