Excellence Punta Cana

We had an incredible week at Excellence Punta Cana to celebrate our 20th anniversary, and we would love to return in the future! The resort itself is beautiful with a long stretch of beach with golden, smooth sand, beautiful grounds, and great pools. The food was a highlight, and we enjoyed all of it. There are many restaurants and bars to choose from, along with a cute coffee/gelato shop. I'm not a buffet person typically, but I even enjoyed the buffet! Reservations are not needed, and that was actually very nice-- we never had to wait long. Drinks were awesome-- my favorite was the Coco Loco, but I liked pretty much everything we tried. We stayed at the club level, and I highly recommend that upgrade. The club bar and restaurant are very nice, and the club pool and beach are worth it. We found great spots on the beach and by the pool, without issue. The staff at this resort are truly exceptional, and the customer service sets this experience apart from competitors-- shout out to Francis, Yessica, Bienvenido, Angel, Erbin, Ezekiel, Hendricks, Einstein, Edwin, and many others for excellent service and warm hospitality. In addition, the housekeeping staff was some of the best we've experienced, and our room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely view of the club level pool and the ocean. The overall vibe of the resort is chill and friendly-- we met some wonderful people who we enjoyed getting to know across our week there. It was a very memorable week!

We had a really great stay at Excellence Punta Cana! Joining the Excellence Club was worth it for Magna the Excellence club restaurant. Yessica and Manauri were great there!! Also Andrely was super helpful upon our arrival and departure! And Tomas at The Kitchen Table made the best omelets!! The hydrotherapy was amazing and Delsy at the spa was great! We highly recommend and will enjoy coming back!

We’ve visited this resort twice at Christmas and it’s simply spectacular!! We loved everything from the ease of the airport with about a 40 minute ride to resort, to the amazing food and drinks, the grounds are so well kept! Our biggest reason for returning is the exceptional staff. Everyone genuinely cares about you, but especially Anabel (concierge) and Hector (bar tender). These folks made both of our trips so wonderful. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Absolutely loved my time at Excellence! this is my first time at an all inclusive and Excellence exceeded my expectations. Cherelyn was so sweet, fun, and made sure we had a great time. Miguel’s had us dancing! Rolondo was so informative and funny! Can not wait to come back again. Thank you so much xx

Hipolito was great! As were Einstein and Gregory. Excellence Club is worth every penny. Really enjoyed the food and great service everywhere we went. Housekeeping was very attentive, including the very good mini bar service who paid close attention to what we were going through and hooked us up with huge quantities of what we liked. Very impressed all around and will definitely be returning.

We have been at the Excellence Punta Cana for 3 days and I am very impressed! Besides the views, the service is excellent, staff is extremely kind, and staff remembers your name! David at the excellence club was exceptional. My husband and I did a conversations in Spanish class one morning with Bernardino and Cherlyn - they remembered us the rest of our time there and always came up and said hi and asked how we were doing (they also did the best entertainment and classes!)! Reison at the excellence beach club did the same thing and always made sure we had everything we could possibly need. I thoroughly have enjoyed my stay here, I would definitely recommend it and I will be back!

We planned a friends vacation from December 1st till 10th. We had an amazing trip. We have been to this resort 2 previous years but we decided to do the Excellence Club this time and we absolutely loved it. The private pools, cascade pool was by far our favourite we meet so many great people. Let’s talk about the amazing staff at this resort they are so helpful and willing to go above and beyond. Let’s name a few from the moment you get out of your private seasons car to the bellhop guys Miguel, Hipolito|, Joan taking you to the Excellence Club Concierge we were checked in by Randy and recognized as soon as we walked in make you feel kinda special honestly. Roseangela at the Cascade pool she was amazing went above and beyond to make sure we were always hydrated by keeping the drinks flowing and not to mention she made the best drinks. Karmen the server in the evenings at the stage hall we have become very close I meet her the first year we came in 2023 and friends with her on social media. We love Karmen ❤️. The staff at Aroma were also so friendly I didn’t get her name but she worked the evenings and I would go down for my evening ice cream and she was so friendly and anytime she would see me she would come over to say hello. We love that about this resort. Roberta and Erbin in the hosts at the Kitchen table are always so willing to help out with all your needs. They treat you like family all the staff do. We love this resort so much and we can’t wait to return again in 2026. We are so happy that we have become part of the Excellence Famila ❤️

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon. This is our second time staying in an excellence resort. The resort itself is very pretty as the beach really feels like the focal point. There was some construction during our stay, one being Las Oslas and the other being the theater area creating a little bit of noise but nothing crazy. A few restaurants had a long wait for food, with some things being forgotten and never brought back. A few staff we encountered at the restaurants didn’t seem like they wanted to be there. The ones that did want to be there, however were extremely kind. My husband and I did have to be best friends with the toilet for 2 days (big bummer). We aren’t sure if we accidentally had tap water somehow or if it was from the steak (as we both felt ill the day after having steak for dinner).The pool, beach, and bar service was phenomenal! A few extra shout outs to Vidal(pool service) and Leonardo(blue sky at the swim up bar). Housekeeping also did a phenomenal job and were so nice everyday making sure everything was fully stocked. I wish we caught our housekeepers name, but we were staying in building one. Overall we were very happy with our stay and look forward to hopefully being able to come again or visit another Excellence resort in the future!
