Great spot for lunch. I got the chicken tacos and kids fish n chips - forgot to get pics - but they were great! The chicken tacos had like giant popcorn chicken style pieces in them, I wish I'd asked for extra Jalepeno but other than that they were perfect. The kids fish n chips had 2 small pieces and a serve of chips. Great size serve for kids or someone eating small portions. We were a large group so I got some pics of the others meals and they all said theirs were great. There appeared to be specials on most days and they had lunch specials too.

We spent most of our nights at the Exchange Hotel in Kalgoorlie and always had a good time. The food was consistently good, drinks were well priced and poured properly, and the atmosphere was lively without feeling rough. The skimpies most nights definitely added to the classic Goldfields pub vibe. Staff were friendly and service was quick. A great place to eat, have a few drinks, and soak up the true Kalgoorlie experience, we’d happily go back.

Seriously , I have had a steak sandwich in nearly every pub I visit! This one tops the list. Beautiful steak,nice and tender with great sauce and salad. Chips nice and hot. Service excellent 👌

Great weekly specials for steak and fish Mid afternoon pleasantly quiet to enjoy, then eat and and enjoy a big downpour of rain on the boardwaly outside. Nothing like rain on a hot tin roof, couldn't be better. May have to check out the skimping in the other bar. Ask any Aussie they'll tell ya !

Looks like the pub just come out of an old western movie. Love it, something that Australia is looking. Walk back in time you will love it.

Good pub this one. Hot yummy food, cold beer and nice looking skimpies to serve you. Also plenty of TV's around to watch the different sports. What else could a man want. The atmosphere is also good here and staff are nice and friendly

The famous exchange, packed to the brim after dark with music and topless bar maids, but you gotta go there at least once! Not for the faint of heart or the churchies 🤣🤫 beautiful old style wood bar and surrounds.. even take a drink on the balcony

We first went in for lunch, salt n pepper squid, chicken parmigiana, then went back for the roast at night, both meals were great. The chef's did a great job. I forgot to say gluten free for the roast because at lunch the gravy and condiments come in a small dish, but at night it was put all over. But the people were bloody awesome and took it back n gave me one without gravy, but some wine thing like gravy in a small dish on the side. Worth going in for drinks and a meal. The staff are friendly and helpful to. Grab a park where ever you can n go on in for a great meal n drinks.
