Good pub, bit of character. Drinks are more expensive than others, though. The food was OK. They have skimpys here, so if that offends you, I'd stay away. The issue I have is that I didn't know about these skimpys, and they walk around pressuring patrons for money because they're skimpys. How rude when not everyone goes in to see this furthermore after the band starts playing they up the price of all drinks by a dollar. Blatantly ripping off people. If you want people to attend, you put on a band, and that pays for itself via attendance. You then don't go charging the public for your decisions. I've never seen this blatant rip off anywhere else in this country. Band was ordinary at best no wonder people move on to other venues.

Dropped in for a quick drink in a famous Kalgoorlie pub & the beer selection was good. Very friendly bar attendant looking beautiful in her 'skimpy' outfit. The bar itself had good atmosphere, interesting decor, a pool table in a historic building. Lots of parking available.

We first went in for lunch, salt n pepper squid, chicken parmigiana, then went back for the roast at night, both meals were great. The chef's did a great job. I forgot to say gluten free for the roast because at lunch the gravy and condiments come in a small dish, but at night it was put all over. But the people were bloody awesome and took it back n gave me one without gravy, but some wine thing like gravy in a small dish on the side. Worth going in for drinks and a meal. The staff are friendly and helpful to. Grab a park where ever you can n go on in for a great meal n drinks.

Do you get excited thinking about 40 minute delays between drinks orders? Do you enjoy the sensation of being smeared across 40 strangers sweaty bodies when trying to move to an empty spot at the bar to be ignored by a waitress? Do metal seatless toilets get your motor running? Do you dream of coming home broke, ignored and smelling of 25 peoples body odours with urine soaked shoe rubbers? Look no further than the exchange pub! "Food was surprisingly reasonable possibly food court grade, but my dog could provide a cleaner place with better service while in gastric distress and drunk".

Very comfortable atmosphere. Extremely tasty meals. Competitive pricing, great customer service we are in the sports bar area. Highly recommend visiting

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Foood was average and there is the 'mining tax'. $25 chicken schnitzel on mondays is alright, $15 Guinness as well.
