Very comfortable room nicely modernised. Brilliant position close to the Monastery. Great breakfast. The parking was very easy. They allowed you to unload outside the hotel and then go to the underground parking which the hotel had a discount for. There is no restaurant but the recommendations of where to eat in the village were great. Lovely reception staff who spoke excellent English

We stayed 2 nights in order to visit the Palace of El Escorial.|There is space to pull up a car to unload baggage, but no parking. |Check-in was friendly and efficient. When we checked availability of facilities, the pool was closed, which didn't surprise us as the weather was still cool, but also the bar/cafeteria and restaurant were also not open. Very disappointing for a 4* hotel. We were able to find a street car parking place 2 roads away.|We had requested a quiet room and were allocated a corner room at the end of the corridor, with a pleasant balcony. Our room was small and functional, but with no kettle or coffee-making and the bar/cafe not open we realised that we would have to go out for morning coffee.|Admittedly, outside of the hotel's control, but the noise from the neighbouring room was intolerable both nights. (through to and beyond 2.00am). Seemingly the separating wall does not suppress the sound of conversation, shouting, moaning, screaming, music, TV, etc.|We complained to the Manager at check- out that the facilities on offer were not at 4* level and, to be fair, she listened and made a reduction to our bill.|All in all, a disappointing visit. Unable to recommend.

The room is not sound proofed, you can hear everything from the other rooms; it is very noisy and the WiFi does not work. Pity because otherwise the location and breakfast are very good. However if I cannot sleep, it is a no go. I had to switch off the air conditioning because it would not respect the temperature and was rather warming up without responding to controls.

The hotel is classic and full of beautiful decoration. The room is big and modern design, the bed is comfort, the view of window is wonderful with free garden. The breakfast is delicious and lots of choice. The staffs are friendly and helpful. when the day check in was strike of Madrid train. The staff of hotel gave me alternative option to took bus to El Escorial. here thank you again for lady receptionist. The surrounding and location is so easy to the town, just 2 minutes to monastery and autobus terminal.

A beautiful 4 star hotel within walking distance to Monasterio de El Escorial. There aren’t too many hotels in El Escoriale and we heard this was the nicest in town and it was a pleasant surprise. They also upgraded us to a suite with a breathtaking view of the monastery, which we enjoyed very much. Breakfast had a good spread and with good hygiene standards. Staff were friendly and attentive. The only downside is that parking is not available so you will have to park somewhere outside. All in all, an elegant hotel which feels more like a mansion but with modern amenities in the rooms.

Once very elegant hotel in small but important town. It is not fully renovated but the rooms are and they are big and nice. The breakfast is great and the location in the town near the palace but if you want to go to Madrid it takes quite long or if you take a taxi it is over 60 euro. Pool only operates during the summer not in May.

Right cross the street from the transit center. Very good location for this college town and a tour to the monastery. Building is old and breakfast is mediocre. No free parking but plenty of street parking is available. However, it’s very dark on the street at night. My bumper hit the curve unfortunately .

The main reason why I chose this hotel was the location, close to "El Monasterio del Escorial", the rooms where comfortable, and the staff was really polite and helpful, we arrived really late and the gentleman at the front desk, David, gave us a lot of information about what we can do nearby, he offered to help us with the luggage, and recommend us the lunch at the hotel restaurant that was really nice. We went to the pool that was great, is our first time in Spain and we enjoyed it so much. The room was really clean and the service was outstanding.
