Great place to stay for a couple of days, beach, plenty of Resturants. Casino all steps away from the front door. The hotel was calm, clean with extremely friendly staff. The breakfast had loads of goodies. Would not hesitate to stay again or tell a friend.

Great hotel in the centre of Figueira da Foz. Very welcoming staff, spotlessly clean room and great breakfast choices. If you need to park your car, you need to check in first, as your room key opens the private garage which is 1 minute walk away. We would absolutely recommend this hotel from our experience.

Pictures online slightly deceiving. Hotel is a bit tired and more like a nice 3 star rather than 4 starts. Location is good but it’s not right on the beach. Staff at reception were not very friendly when we arrived. Breakfast was nice. Their pizzeria was average (they give a 10% off which is nice). Overall clean and good value for money.

What a wonderful place to stay. Reception was well attended, friendly and very helpful. Immediately it looks like a place that you would want to stay, clean and neat. The room was very nice with a huge bed. Immaculately clean and fresh. The bathroom was well designed and also perfectly clean. Everything worked as it should which is becoming rare these days. A minor complaint was that there was no storage space in the room apart from a hanging cupboard. There were no drawers at all. We were blessed with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine as I had mentioned at reception that we were there for our wedding anniversary. This was a nice touch. We had breakfast as part of the package. The dining room was clean, neat and tidy. There was a large selection of hot and cold foods and drinks at the buffet which were fresh and tasty. A minor complaint is that the bain maries for the hot food were on a low setting so the hot food was lukewarm at best. This spoiled the enjoyment of the meal. Will we return? Absolutely. Hopefully in the near future.

No view out of my room. But I do not stay in the room looking out my windows, great location...I walked to abadias park and foz Plaza. I did not feel they were that far away and I am 65. Enjoyed the walk...by the way figueira is not flat...you will find some up hill streets. The hotel was great...clean ...friendly helpful staff

Stayed here one night on a cycling tour. On the positive side, our room was clean, large and spacious. Good sized modern shower room too. On downside, it was plain to the point of being Spartan, stank of drains from the bathroom and the two small windows were situated just below the high ceiling. They had metal covers rather than blinds or curtains so overall feel was cell-like. The hotel had provided large wooden stairs to climb up and reach one window but this contraption wasn’t easily moveable so for the other window you had to balance on a chair in order to close the steel doors at night. The smell of drains became intolerable. On checking out I mentioned it to the receptionist who was totally unconcerned and said it was usual when it rained. It hadn’t been raining when we checked in and other rooms occupied by our party were not affected but clearly they weren’t planning on investigating. It was ok for one night but I wouldnt choose to return.
