Stopped here a week ago and well worth getting wet. Bought a vege pastie which was oh so good and I didn’t get a chance to take a photo haha. Also purchased a chunky steak n kidney pie and I’m told it was chunky! Also got an apple turnover which was thoroughly delicious. Beautiful. But the absolute best part was this gigantic Lamington! Oh my lawds! So wicked !

A lovely bakery. Doesn't compare to Babinda in Qld, Collie in WA or Ambience in Cobram NSW, but still tasty. I had beef, cheese & bacon pie with a delicious peppermint slice, & the other one had a Jack Daniels pie he said he'd had better, & a blueberry & custard muffin. Cost us $24.50. The service was fabulous, although the board needs updating as they don't make the Mexican pie anymore. The bread looked & felt fresh, & loads of desserts to select from. The outdoor area is great..

Vegetarian Pastie used to be one of my favourites. Ordered one recently and it seems to have changed recipe. Was just a few peas and corn mixed in with small chunks of possibly potato?…. it was quite hard to distinguish it as potato due to it being a strange off grey colour. Was quite off putting and very tasteless with no flavours or spices added to it. Just bland…. I did ask the male worker if the grey colour was normal in the pastie but he just looked at it and said that it was lentils and continued about his day. I know it wasn’t “lentils” so just left it and will not be ordering that again. Hopefully they return back to the original recipe one day soon as they used to be one of the best vegetarian pasties.

Having read the reviews about the sausage rolls I tried one. I ordered the large and it certainly wasn't. The small was small ! The coffee was good but took a long time coming.

The most professional and experienced staff from the owner (wicked sense of humour) through to counter staff and barista. Great food, excellent displays, beautiful people!

Do yourself a favour and go to this bakery! Everything we had was delicious! The cheese and bacon toast the next day for brekky was awesome! Reasonably priced and friendly staff!

I had the pleasure of trying the pepper steak pie and chicken vege pie, and both were excellent. Great pastry - the steak had a strong pepper flavour which I enjoyed and chicken pie didn't need any additional sauce. I wish I had more stomach space to try their sweet pies - the apple and berry one looked great

Yelp
Awesome Stop for a Pie. We walked in and saw all these beautiful desserts and started looking at the menu on the wall. We didn't see any meat pies but oh, we were totally wrong. The savory pies were in the huge warming oven and Almost empty! There were a few of each left..we were in luck. We ordered the Curry Chicken Pie and the Beef & Pepper Pie and a sweet Mixed Berry Pie. And yes, we shared as we always do...more tastes for small appetites. We agreed the Beef & Pepper was the best. The pepper just made that beef pop. It was great the chicken curry was very good but not that pepper one! The crust was outstanding on each pie. The mixed berry pie was outstanding. Perfectly made with a tad more berry than pastry. And it was not too sweet. It was huge. We had left overs for breakfast the next morning. And it held up very well. Highly recommend. Worth the drive. Will return reasonably priced.

Yelp
Like all these little villages there is usually one great local bakery with pies and cakes. This is just another one but very friendly service. Great choice as usual. Clean and great coffee. Recommended
