Exmoor House Bed & Breakfast

Found this super B and B through Google and what a gem. The house is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We stayed in the larger double Coleridge room which had a separate sofa so nice to not have to lie on the bed all the time. Extra pillows blankets, fans in warmer weather, were readily avaliable. The pub across the road served great meals in the evening. Izzy and Peter were the perfect hosts . breakfasts were superb especially Peter's poached eggs. We enjoyed ourselves so much we've rebooked for next year. Thank you Peter and Izzy.

Lovely hosts. Great breakfast. Very comfy bed. Big room even though we'd only booked a standard room. The pool table was a nice 'bonus' facility. Super dog friendly, there were dog biscuits (as well as human chocolates) left for us in the room. We left a phone charger in the room and the owners are posting it to us. Superb on all fronts!

Had a wonderful stay here the first weekend in August. Room was airy and bright with lots of little extra touches. Hosts were incredibly welcoming and kindly but on an early breakfast (food was fantastic with plenty of choice) for myself and some of the other guests who were taking part in the South West Coast Ultra Challenge. Great base to explore Exmoor from. Enjoyed it so much have already booked to stay next year.

Absolutely wonderful B and B located not too far from Dunster and Minehead. Peter and Izzy are the perfect hosts and couldn't do enough for us. We had the larger Coleridge room with a sofa so nice to have somewhere other than a bed to sit, thoughtful little details such as small bowls of sweets were set on the dresser and a make up flannel was even available to use in the bathroom Our room was spotless the bed comfy and we appreciated the silent fridge. Fans were available if required as we're extra towels linen etc. Breakfast was excellent especially the poached eggs done perfectly. We enjoyed our stay s much we've booked next year already 😊.

Loved all the little details in the room. Coffee bags, fresh milk, juice etc. Lovely bathroom with nice soaps and again little touches. Wide range of choice for breakfast, lovely, fresh and hot. Hash-browns please ! The lounge area with pool table was a bonus for families. The pub is only a few yards away. Thank you for all your help with our boys and supporting them on their challenge

This B&B is in a good location for exploring Exmoor. Room was immaculately clean, tea and coffee plus biscuits selection, toiletries were good quality and scent. Bed was very large and comfortable, a fan was provided for the hot nights. Even our little dog settled in but confused why we were not in our motorhome. Izzy and Peter are fantastic hosts, so welcoming, and we felt very comfortable there was really nothing more I could think of to improve our stay, we enjoyed the few days stay.

We arrived after a long and very wet day’s walking to a warm and welcoming escape from the horrible weather. Izzy and Peter made us free very welcome taking wet boots away to be tried and advising us how to get our clothes dry. The room was comfortable and well equipped - coffee bags not cheap instant - and the breakfast was good. All round it was great walking stop but would be lovely however you got there.

Had a great stay here with my mom. Really comfortable room with comfortable cotton sheets. A lot of thoughtfulness in designing room and amenities, with a great tea selection. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in the area. Innkeepers were very nice.
